20/1/2021 का अपॉइंटमेंट लेलिया।निश्चित तारीख को सुबह नहा धो कर आई डी प्रूफ +पुराना पासपोर्ट और 2 फोटो उठाये चेहरे पर कोरोना मास्क लगा कर सुबह दस बजे मुख्यडाक घर परिसर में सपरिवार पहुंच गए।बेशक सपरिवार का न्यौता नही था लेकिन पत्नि और छोटे पुत्र का भी पासपोर्ट रिन्यू होना था सो सपरिवार ही पहुंच गए।परिसर में प्रवेश द्वार से सेवा केंद्र का बोर्ड तलाशते तलाशते निकासी द्वार तक पहुंच गए लेकिन असफलता ही हाथ लगी।छावनी में पैदा हुए और कई बार परिसर में स्थित बीएसएनएल कार्यालय और डाकघर मे आना भी हुआ सो आज की असफलता पर कुछ स्वाभाविक आत्मग्लानि भीहुई ।हमारी निराशा देख कर श्रीमती जी ने कमान हमेशा की तरह,हथियाई और सड़क पर उपलब्ध एक मात्र महिला से पासपोर्ट आफिस की लोकेशन पूछी।उस भद्र महिला ने कहा कि आप मुख्य प्रवेश द्वार से बाहर निकलिए और बिल्डिंग के अंत मे जाईये।हम खरामा खरामा कदम दर कदम बढ़ते हुए पासपोर्ट सेवा केंद्र के बोर्ड पर निगाह डालने में सफल हो ही गये

इस सारी प्रक्रिया में लगभग 45 मिनट लग गए
मियां बीबी दोनों वरिष्ठ नागरिक ठहरे सो कोरोना कोरोना जपते जपते अपने बैग से सेनिटाइज़र निकाल कर हाथ धोकर छोटे से गेट से अंदर प्रवेश कर गए।यह शायद हमारा ही दुर्भाग्य रहा होगा कि गेट पर कोई बॉडी टेम्प्रेचर मापक यंत्र लिए किसी श्रेणी के कर्मी के दर्शन नही हुए। अंदर सामने ही मेज के पीछे दो महानुभाव बैठे थे।एक बुजुर्ग और एक युवा शेष कुर्सियां खाली थी । दुआसलाम के पश्चात हमने आदेश मिलने पर कागजात युवा अधिकारी(हेमंत)के सामने रख दिए।हेमंत बाबू शायद घर से लड़ कर आये थे या फिर सुबह सुबह सूखा ग्राहक देख कर असहज थे सो एक एक नजर तीनों फॉर्म पर डाली और बाल पेन से फॉर्म केकॉलम पर टिक करके यह कहते हुए लौटा दिए कि श्रीमती जी की माता का नाम दर्ज नहीँ है। मेरे और पुत्र केफॉर्म में पुराना रिफरेन्स नही है।मैंने लगभग मिमयाते हुए निवेदन किया कि यह तो आप भी लिख सकते हो तो जवाब आया कि यहां नही कर सकते,आप अपने एजेंट से ही करवाइये।श्रीमती जी ने फिर कमान हथियाते हुए कहा कि भाई साहब यह सेवा केंद्र है और हमने किसी एजेंट से नही बल्कि अमेरिका में बैठे पुत्र से भरवाए है।अब वोह साहब तो अपनी बोनी खराब करने के मूड में कतई नही दिखाई दे रहे थे।और एप्लीकेशन फॉर्म को रिशेड्यूल करवाने पर अड़ गए।इसी बीच झाड़ू लगाने वाले कर्मी ने झाड़ू फेरना शुरू कर दिया।सो बैरंग लौटने में ही भलाई थी।
फॉर्म भरने वाले बेटे को जब यह व्रतांत सुनाया तो उसे कही रिशेड्यूल करने का कोई कालम नही मिला सो ₹4500 दोबारा जमा करवा कर नया अपॉइंटमेंट 8/22021 का लिया गया
Screenshot_20210219-150250पेंशनर की जेब से ₹4500 व्यर्थ निकलने का गम कुछ कम नही होता सो टीसीएस+विदेशमंत्रालय को ऑन लाइन लिखना शुरू किया। पासपोर्ट बनाने के लिए मेजबान अर्थार्त विदेश मंत्रालय और टीसीएस आदि को कई बार सोशल मीडिया में टैग करने पर भी कोई सुनवाई नही हुई।पैसा लौटाना तो दूर हमारा दुखड़ा टालने में ही सभी व्यस्त है।
अभी समस्या का समाधान नही हुआ। तमाम डाक्यूमेंट्स देने के उपरांत भी पुलिस वेरिफिकेशन आवश्यक बताई गई है।अब उसी की प्रतीक्षा है उसका किस्सा अगले संस्करण में।यकीन मानिए वोह इससे अधिक रोचक होगा क्योंकि पुलिस का मामला होगा।

(New Delhi)TCS to Recruit 1,500 Tech Staff in UK
India’s largest software services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Wednesday said it will recruit 1,500 technology employees across the UK over the next year.
The announcement followed Monday’s meeting in Mumbai between visiting UK Trade Secretary Liz Truss and TCS CEO Rajesh Gopinathan.
TCS’ workforce in the UK has 54 nationalities represented, and women account for 28 per cent of the workforce, much higher than the 17 per cent average in the IT sector. The company, however, did not provide the current headcount for the UK market.
The firm’s revenue from the UK market was about GBP 2.7 billion at the end of FY20.

[Chd,Pb]Sidhu Approaches Nilekani For E-Governance in Pb’s167 ULBs
Punjab Local Government Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu today met Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani to discuss the progress made through e-governance in all the 167 urban local bodies (ULBs) of the state.
An MoU was signed in February with the eGovernments Foundation, also co-founded by Nilekani, to provide solutions for e-governance of urban local bodies (ULBs) throughout Punjab.
Sidhu said that 500 IT savvy experts would be hired through TCS for the capacity building of ULBs.

The country’s largest software exporter TataConsultancyServices[TCS] had reported a net profit of Rs 6,608 crore in the same period last fiscal,
The Tata Group company, which accounts for a lion’s share of the group’s overall profit, reported a revenue growth of 8.2 per cent at Rs 32,075 crore for the said quarter, up from Rs 29,642 crore a year earlier.
“Strong demand in digital across all industry verticals and large transformational deal wins have made this one of our best fourth quarters in recent years. The strong exit allows us to start the new fiscal on a confident note,” TCS CEO and MD Rajesh Gopinathan said.
Strong deal wins and a good pipeline positions TCS very well in the new fiscal, TCS Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director N Ganapathy Subramaniam said.
Digital revenue accounted for 23.8 per cent of the revenue, up 42.8 per cent year-on-year.
For the entire 2017-18, TCS saw its net profit dipping 1.7 per cent to Rs 25,826 crore, while revenue rose 4.3 per cent to Rs 1.23 lakh crore.

Shares of IT companies plunged as much as 9 per cent today amid concerns that the new bill in the US that aims to rework the H1-B visa programme will adversely impact the hiring plans of Indian technology firms.
Shares of
TCS plunged by 5.46 per cent to touch an intra-day low of Rs 2,206.55 on BSE.
Infosys lost 4.57 per cent to Rs 905 and
Wipro went down by 4.11 per cent to Rs 445.55.
Tech Mahindra tumbled as much as 9.68 per cent to Rs 426 and
HCL Technologies declined by 6.25 per cent to Rs 787.20.
The BSE IT index fell by 4.83 per cent to touch an intra-day low of 9401.85.
It is currently trading at 9547.53.
According to market experts, US President Donald J Trump plans to overhaul work-visa programmes that dampened investors’ sentiment.
Trump is set to sign a new executive order aimed at overhauling work visa programmes like the H-1B and L1, a move that will adversely hit the lifeline of Indian tech firms and professionals in the US.
A legislation has been introduced in the US House of Representatives which among other things calls for more than doubling the minimum salary of H-1B visa holders to USD 130,000, making it difficult for firms to use the programme to replace American employees with foreign workers, including from India.
The H1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows US companies to employ foreign workers in speciality occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise in specialised fields. The technology companies depend on it to hire tens of thousands of employees each year

[Mumbai] Software Supremo TCS Scores Q3 Net Profit up 14.2% at Rs 6,083 Cr
Country’s largest software exporter TCS today reported 14.2 per cent jump in profit to Rs 6,083 crore for the third quarter of the current fiscal.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 5,328 crore in the October-December period of last fiscal. The operating profit was at Rs 7,276 crore in the reported quarter.
Its revenues were up 11.7 per cent to Rs 27,364 crore in the third quarter, 2015-16, from Rs 24,501 crore in the corresponding period of 2015-15.
“All our industry segments have exhibited growth in a traditionally weak quarter, additionally accentuated by the impact of the Chennai floods,” TCS Managing Director and Chief Executive N Chandrasekaran said.
He Saidthat Digital business continues to be the core focus for enterprise IT in 2016 as customers respond to competition in a global economy driven by real-time insights.
.The company declared a dividend of Rs 5.50 per share which has a face value of Re 1, and its earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs 31.01

प्रधान मंत्री के स्वच्छ भारत स्वच्छ विद्यालय अभियान को सफल बनाने के लिए देश की बड़ी कंपनियों ने स्कूलों में टॉयलेट निर्माण को आगे आये
एनटीपीसी ने 24,000 शौचालयों के निर्माण के लिए अपनी प्रतिबद्धता का संकेत दिया जबकि इनफ़ोसिस ने १०९ स्कूलों को अपने नाम किया
टीसीएस+टोयोटा किर्लोस्कर+भारती फाउंडेशन +अंबूजा सीमेंट ने भी प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त की।
भारत सरकार मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री श्रीमती स्मृति इरानी ने स्कूलों में शौचालयों के निर्माण के लिए सीएसआर निधि के इस्तेमाल पर आयोजित सम्मेलन को संबोधित किया |सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र और निजी क्षेत्र की कंपनियों की ओर से एक लाख शौचालयों के निर्माण के लिए संकल्प किये गये।
केन्द्रीय मंत्री श्रीमती स्मृति ने स्वच्छ भारत स्वच्छ विद्यालय अभियान के एक हिस्से के रूप में स्कूलों में शौचालयों के निर्माण के लिए कंपनी सामाजिक दायित्व निधि के इस्तेमाल पर आयोजित सम्मेलन को संबोधित किया। मंत्री महोदया ने बताया कि वर्ष 2019 तक एक स्वच्छ भारत के प्रधानमंत्री के मिशन को तभी पूरा किया जा सकता है, यदि हम स्कूलों में प्रत्येक बच्चे के लिए चालू शौचालयों सहित स्कूलों में अच्छा और साफ-सुथरा वातावरण उपलब्ध करा सकें ताकि ये ऐसे व्यापक लक्ष्य के लिए बदलाव का एक इंजन बन सकें जिसे हमने अपने लिए निर्धारित किया है। श्रीमती इरानी ने दोहराते हुए कहा कि एक वर्ष के भीतर बालिकाओं के लिए अलग शौचालय के साथ प्रत्येक विद्यालय में शौचालय उपलब्ध कराना सरकार का संकल्प है और उन्होंने कंपनियों को आमंत्रित करते हुए कहा कि वे शौचालयों का निर्माण करके और कुछ समय तक उनका रख-रखाव करके इस राष्ट्रीय प्रयास में भाग लें।
इस सम्मेलन में पूरे भारत से आये कंपनियों के प्रमुखों ने भाग लिया। मारुति सुजुकी के अध्यक्ष श्री आर सी भार्गव, इंफोसिस फाउंडेशन की अध्यक्षा श्रीमती सुधा मूर्ति, जेएंडके टायर्स के अध्यक्ष डॉ. रघुपति सिंघानिया और भारतीय उद्योग परिसंघ, सीएसआर पहल के अध्यक्ष और निजी क्षेत्र की अन्य कंपनियों के प्रमुखों ने इसमें भाग लिया। एनटीपीसी के अध्यक्ष और सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की कंपनियों के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों तथा औद्योगिक संघों के सदस्यों ने भी इस सम्मेलन में भाग लिया। इस सम्मेलन की शुरुआत तीन मिनट की एक लघु फिल्म से हुई जो बिना शौचालय वाले स्कूलों में बालिकाओं की समस्याओं पर आधारित थी।
एनटीपीसी के अध्यक्ष ने 24,000 शौचालयों के निर्माण के लिए अपनी प्रतिबद्धता का संकेत दिया। श्रीमती सुधा मूर्ति ने मंत्रालय की उस वेबसाइट पर भुवनेश्वर के 109 स्कूलों को अपने नाम कर लिया जो निजी क्षेत्र के लिए अपने-अपने हित में चलाये जाने के लिए छोड़ दिये गये थे। शौचालयों के निर्माण के लिए टीसीएस, टोयोटा किर्लोस्कर, भारती फाउंडेशन और अंबूजा सीमेंट ने भी प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त की।
गौरतलब है कि प्रधानमंत्री ने 15 अगस्त को राष्ट्र का आह्वान करते हुए घोषणा की थी कि “बालिकाओं के लिए अलग शौचालयों के साथ देश के सभी विद्यालयों में शौचालयों का लक्ष्य एक वर्ष के भीतर पूरा किया जाना चाहिए।”

[टोक्यो]भारतीय प्रधान मंत्री ने 21वीं सदी को ज्ञान की सदी बताया और तक्षिला और नालंदा जैसे संस्‍थानों का उदारहण देते हुए विगत में विश्‍व लीडर होने पर गर्व किया |टीसीएस जापान प्रौद्योगिकी एवं संस्‍कृति अकादमी के उद्घाटन के बाद प्रधानमंत्री ने यह भाव व्यक्त किये
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्‍द्र मोदी ने आज टीसीएस जापान प्रौद्योगिकी एवं संस्‍कृति अकादमी का उद्घाटन किया और टीसीएस (टाटा कंसल्‍टेंसी सर्विसेज) में प्रशिक्षण के लिए भारत जाने वाले छात्रों के पहले बैच को रवाना किया।
यह अकादमी टाटा कंसल्‍टेंसी सर्विसेज और मित्‍सूबिशी कार्पोरेशन का संयुक्‍त उपक्रम है।
छात्रों से बातचीत में प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि 21वीं सदी ज्ञान की सदी होगी। उन्‍होंने तक्षिला और नालंदा जैसे संस्‍थानों का उदाहरण देते हुए विगत में भारत के ज्ञान, विरासत और उसके विश्‍व नेतृत्‍व का भी उल्‍लेख किया।
उन्‍होंने उम्‍मीद जताई कि ये छात्र भारत से अच्‍छी यादों के साथ वापस लौटेंगे और भारत के राजदूत बन जाएंगे।
इस समारोह में भारतीय प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने जापान के पारम्परिक ड्रम भी बजाये इससे पूर्व एक अन्य कार्यक्रम में मोदी बांसुरी भी बजा कर अपने कला कौशल का प्रदर्शन कर चुके हैं
