The President of India, Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated the annual “Udyanotsav” of the Rashtrapati Bhavan (opening of Mughal Gardens) today
As per President Secretariat The Mughal Gardens will remain open for general public from February 12 to March 19, 2016 (except on Mondays which are maintenance days) between 0930 hrs to 1600 hrs.
Public will also be able to visit the Spiritual Garden+Herbal Garden+Bonsai Garden+ Musical Garden

Mughal Garden’s Udyanotsav Witnessed Over1 Lakh Nature Enjoyers In Just Opening Week

[New Delh] Mughal Garden’s Udyanotsav Enjoyed Over 1 Lakh Nature Enjoyers In Just Opening Week
Over One lakh forty thousand persons have visited Mughal Gardens since its opening to the public President Of India Pranab Mukherji Declared These Gardens On Valentine Day[February 14].For One Month
The main attraction of this year’s Udyanotsav are Tulips in vivid colours of red+ orange+yellow mixed with red+pink+purple and white. However, roses are central to the fame of Mughal Gardens and a permanent feature throughout the year.
The garden has more than 120 celebrated varieties of roses. Unlike other gardens which grow a limited variety of roses but in large masses, the Mughal Garden features a large range of rose varieties in one place.
The Garden will remain open till March 15 every day of the week except Monday, from 9.30 AM to 4.00 PM. Entry is free of charge and from Gate No.35 of the President’s Estate, Near North Avenue.

रखरखाव के लिए गार्डन हर सोमवार को बंद रहेगा
आम जनता के लिए प्रवेश और निकास राष्ट्रपति भवन के परिसर के गेट नंबर 35 से होगा जहां से नॉर्थ एवेन्यू राष्ट्रपति भवन करीब हैं। पानी की बोतलें+ बच्चों के दूध की बोतलें+ब्रीफकेस+हैंडबैग महिलाओं का पर्स+कैमरा+रेडियो +ट्रांजिस्टर+छाते+खाद्य सामग्रियों आदि को लाने पर पाबंदी होगी

President Of India opens, Historical Mughal Gardens “Udyanotsav” of Rashtrapati Bhavan For One Month For General Public. 5000 Tulips in Various colours will be in full bloom. The dominant colour scheme For ornamental flowers is yellow.

The Mughal Gardens will remain open for general public from February 16 to March 16, 2014 (except on Mondays Being maintenance days) between 1000 hrs to 1600 hrs.
The main attraction of this year’s Udyanotsav are Tulips which will be planted in phases. About 5000 Tulips in colours of red, orange and yellow mixed with red and white will be in full bloom. Flower Carpets in magnificent designs will be also on display in the central lawns revealing the skills and flower craft of the gardeners of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The dominant colour scheme of this year’s ornamental flowers is yellow. A small cactus corner forms part of the Mughal Gardens display as in previous years. Plant lovers will be able to see a new method of soil less farming (aquaponic cultivation) of vegetables and house plants along a vertical wall. The unseasonal rains have not caused too much damage to the Gardens.
