Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday attacked the Yogi Adityanath government for transferring IPS officers, terming it as an attempt to lower the morale of the force.
The Uttar Pradesh government had on Tuesday transferred 10 senior IPS officers, including ADG, Law and order.
“In this corona period, administrative stability is needed more than in common days. Transfer of 10 ADG and IG level officers is work of lowering morale of force,” the SP chief said in a tweet in Hindi.
“Government is putting blame of poor law and order due to its policy failure and lack of coordination between centre and state on officers,” the former UP chief minister said.

The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday decided to increase liquor prices in the state, ranging from Rs 5 to Rs 400 per bottle depending upon its size and category of the drink.
The decision to increase the liquor price was taken at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, said Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, adding the hike is likely to earn a revenue of Rs 2,350 crore in fiscal 2020-21.

BJP-majority House passed the state Budget without a detailed department-by-department discussion, which protested by the Opposition.
The House was earlier supposed to continue till March 6. But a revised schedule brought up by the government scrapped the remaining sittings of the session.
The Budget presented in the assembly on February 18 was passed by voice vote, before Speaker Hriday Narayan Dikshit adjourned the session sine die.
The opposition accused the government of running away from a thorough discussion of the budgetary provisions.
Some opposition members continued to remain in the assembly chamber as a mark of protest even after the House was adjourned.

As per minister Shrikant Sharma “The notification for the CAA has been issued and all district magistrates in UP have been asked to collect data
In the first list, over 32,000 refugees have been identified in 21 districts of the state and the exercise is going on in the entire state as per information I have from the state Home Department, Sharma added.
When asked about the countries they belong to, Sharma said,”They are from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Yogi Launched Integrated “Dial 112” & “Savera” for UP

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday launched an all-encompassing emergency helpline number ‘112’ to access police, fire brigade, ambulance and other services under the Emergency Response Support System here.
He also launched a senior citizen safety initiative ‘Savera’
“This single helpline number 112 will reduce the response time. ” Adityanath said at the launch event.That people do not need to remember different numbers for different tasks now. All emergency services have been integrated for the task,
He said many states have adopted the emergency service 112, a changed name for ‘Dial 100’, which is being started in Uttar Pradesh.
Talking of ‘Savera’ initiative, Adityanath said in many places, especially, the urban areas, elderly couples live alone and they do not have any support.
“Savera initiative will instill new confidence in them. We should also take similar initiative for women safety as well and set up cell at police station-level, linked to women safety,” he said.
Noting the initiative to link together 108, 102 medical service, 1090 women power helpline, 181 women helpline, CM helpline, ambulance and other such services, he said it can become a good example.

[New Delhi]UP Recognized 1566 Startups But Only 5 Invested In Rs 47.61 Crore .UP is among Top Five States in the country with highest number of recognized Startups under Startup India Initiative.This information was given by the Minister of Commerce and Industry, PiyushGoyal, in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha
Start-up India initiative launched on 16thJanuary 2016, consists of 19 Action Points that act as a guiding document for the initiative.
Since its inception,
19,351 Startups across the country have been recognised by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) as on 24.06.2019.
Government of India has established Fund of Funds for
Startups (FFS) with corpus of Rs. 10,000 crore, to meet the funding needs of startups. DPIIT is the monitoring agency and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is the operating agency for FFS. The total corpus of Rs. 10,000 crore is envisaged to be provided over the 14th and 15th Finance Commission cycles based on progress of the scheme and availability of funds. SIDBI has committed Rs 3123.20 crore to 49 SEBI registered Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). These funds have raised a corpus fund of INR 27,478 crore. INR 483.46 crore have been drawn from Fund of Funds for Startups. Further, the AIFs have invested a total of Rs. 1,625.73 crore into 247 startups. State/UT-wise
