BJP Calls Cobra Post Sting a Congress Sponsored Diabolic Move

Furious, Over Cobra Sting, B J P Call It Diabolic Move to Create a Communal Flare Up In The Country.
Questioning the Timing of a ‘Sting’ Operation on the Babri Masjid demolition, the BJP today alleged that it was “Sponsored”, accusing Congress of using “pawns” to vitiate the atmosphere before elections and asked the Election Commission to stop its publication and telecast.
Inviting Attention to a News report Published In Times of India, Shri R. RAMAKRISHNA has written a urgent letter to Shri V.S. Sampath Chief Election Commissioner [CEC] It is stated that entitled Babri Demolition planned; Cobra post sting appears to be a politically motivated and meticulously planned operation to polarise the ongoing Elections.
B J P Says “The Cobra Post investigation being planned at this time is a diabolic move to create a communal flare up and cause widespread impact of a dimension that can challenge even the basic structure of the Election Commission of India to conduct free and fair Lok Sabha Election. This has the potential of undermining our basic democratic structure.
We would therefore urge the Election Commission to act urgently and pass prohibitory orders on the proposed Press briefing at 10 am today in the Press Club of India. We feel such a power vests in the Commission under the mandate given to the commission by the Constitution of India for conducting free and fair elections to the Parliament and state Legislatures”.
