(New Delhi)Infosys Plummeted 16% for Alleged Unethical Practices Of Top Executives
The scrip plunged 15.94 per cent to Rs 645.35 on the BSE.
On the NSE, it tanked 15.99 per cent to Rs 645.
Infosys Chairman Nandan Nilekani said the company’s audit committee will conduct an independent investigation on whistleblower allegations.
Infosys on Monday had said the whistleblower complaint has been placed before the audit committee as per the company’s practice, and that it will be dealt with in accordance with the company’s whistleblowers policy.
According to reports, the complaint by a group that calls itself “ethical employees” had alleged CEO Salil Parekh and CFO Nilanjan Roy were indulging in “unethical practices” to boost short-term revenue and profits.

ओ मेरे चतुर हो चुके सेठ जी अशोक खेमका ने अपने ट्वीट में बता दिया है कि भाजपाई सरकार महाभारतकालीन भीष्मपितामह की असहाय भूमिका का निर्वाह कर रही है और अपराधी कौरव दुर्योधन जैसे कुचक्र रचने में व्यस्त हैं ऐसे में अशोक ने चेतावनी दी है कि अब उनके लिए केवल व्हिसल ब्लोअर का तमगा पर्याप्त नहीं हैं |अब तो पांडव पुत्र अर्जुन की तरह कौरवों के समूल नाश के लिए गाण्डीव उठाना जरूरी हो गया है
