[New Delhi] NHAI,To Mark Women’s Day, to Deploy Women Staff on Toll Plazas
The National Highways Authority of India has decided to deploy all women toll collecting staff in day shift on at least one toll plaza close to the city area, in every state and UT of the country on 8th March 2018, International Women’s Day. If this initiative is successful, then it will be implemented across all toll plazas under operation by NHAI within the next 3 months.

Bikramjeet Singh, Patwari, posted at revenue halqa Babri Nangal in Gurdaspur district was caught red handed on the complaint of Chechal Singh of village Babri Nangal, district Gurdaspur.
The complainant has approached the VB and alleged that the above named patwari was demanding bribe of Rs. 10000/- in lieu of to change names in land records of his family members.
After verifying his complaint the VB team laid a trap and the accused was caught red handed and tainted money was recovered from him in the presence of two official witnesses.
