[New Delhi]UP Recognized 1566 Startups But Only 5 Invested In Rs 47.61 Crore .UP is among Top Five States in the country with highest number of recognized Startups under Startup India Initiative.This information was given by the Minister of Commerce and Industry, PiyushGoyal, in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha
Start-up India initiative launched on 16thJanuary 2016, consists of 19 Action Points that act as a guiding document for the initiative.
Since its inception,
19,351 Startups across the country have been recognised by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) as on 24.06.2019.
Government of India has established Fund of Funds for
Startups (FFS) with corpus of Rs. 10,000 crore, to meet the funding needs of startups. DPIIT is the monitoring agency and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is the operating agency for FFS. The total corpus of Rs. 10,000 crore is envisaged to be provided over the 14th and 15th Finance Commission cycles based on progress of the scheme and availability of funds. SIDBI has committed Rs 3123.20 crore to 49 SEBI registered Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). These funds have raised a corpus fund of INR 27,478 crore. INR 483.46 crore have been drawn from Fund of Funds for Startups. Further, the AIFs have invested a total of Rs. 1,625.73 crore into 247 startups. State/UT-wise

Pope Francis will declare Mariam Thresia Chiramel Mankidiyan, an Indian nun, a saint on October 13
The Pope has formally approved the canonisation of Mariam Thresia, foundress of the Sisters of the Holy Family, at an ordinary public consistory of cardinals on causes of canonisation at the Vatican on July 1
He has decreed that the canonisation will take place in St Peters Square on October 13 this year
The nun from Kerala will be canonised during a Mass along with John Henry Newman from England, Italian Josephine Vannini, Swiss Marguerite Bays and Brazilian Irm Dulce Pontes
The nun belongs to the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church.
She was born in Puthenchira in Thrissur district on April 26, 1876 and died in Kuzhikkattussery on June 8, 1926.
The Vatican had earlier declared three Kerala-born Indian Catholics as Saints.
While Fr Kuriakose Elias Chavara and Sister Euphrasia were canonised into the league of saints by Pope Francis in 2014, sister Alphonsa was declared a saint in 2008

Contractual employees of the state-owned Punjab Roadways Tuesday went on a three-day strike in support of their demands including regularisation of their jobs and increase in salary.
More than 1,500 buses stayed off the road across Punjab, causing inconvenience to passengers.
Under the banner of Punjab Roadways Punbus Contractual workers union, the protesters are mostly drivers and conductors.
“Contractual employees have been working for the past several years but they have not been regularised,”
They claimed that drivers and conductors were being paid a meagre amount of Rs 6,000 to Rs 7,000 per month as salaries.
The protesters held demonstrations at several bus depots including the ones at Ludhiana and Amritsar and did not allow the movement of buses.
They also raised slogans against the state government for not acceding to their long pending demands.
The state administration deployed police force at the bus depots to prevent any untoward incident.
Contractual workers have also threatened to ‘gherao’ the residence of Punjab Transport minister Razia Sultana at Malerkotla in Sangrur on July 3 as part of their protest.

Acharya, released a souvenir titled ‘Samachaara.’
State Urban Development and Housing Minister U T Khader, who was the chief guest at the function, inaugurated a photo exhibition at the mini town hall.
MLAs Vedavyas Kamath and Bharat Y Shetty also spoke.
Karnataka working journalists union president Shivanand Thagaduru, district journalist union president Srinivas Nayak Indaje, senior journalist Ishwar Daithota and convenor of the function Jagannath Shetty Bala were among those present.

Yogi Adiytanath government issued directives stating that no official will be allowed to take any gift, including sweets, from anybody.
A circular in this regard was issued by the state secretariat administration department.
Chief Minister Adityanath has already issued directives banning mobile phones in meeting and asking officials to report for duty by 9 AM.
The new circular states that no official will accept any gift from anyone. No person will be allowed to enter the Sachivalaya, that houses government offices, with gifts of any kind and government employees will not accept any gift without prior permission of higher authorities.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने समाज में ईमानदारी की संस्कृति को मजबूत करने में चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंटों (सीए) की भूमिका की सोमवार को सराहना की।
साथ ही उन्होंने समाज को सेहतमंद बनाने के लिए चिकित्सकों के दिन-रात के प्रयासों के लिए उनको भी शुभकामना दी।
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट दिवस पर ट्वीट किया, ‘‘चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट का मेहनती समुदाय हमारे समाज में ईमानदारी की संस्कृति और बेहतर कॉर्पोरेट संचालन को मजबूत कर रहा है।’’
उन्होंने ट्वीट किया कि सीए आर्थिक समृद्धि को मजबूत करने में भी अहम भूमिका निभाते हैं।
वहीं चिकित्सक दिवस पर मोदी ने सभी मेहनती चिकित्सकों को समाज को सेहतमंद एवं दुरुस्त बनाने के उनके दिन-रात के प्रयासों के लिए भी शुभकामना दी।
उन्होंने कहा, “लोक कल्याण में उनके महती योगदान को शब्दों में बयां नहीं किया जा सकता। मैं डॉ बी सी रॉय को भी श्रद्धांजलि देता हूं जो खुद भी एक प्रख्यात डॉक्टर थे।”
रॉय की जयंती को ‘डॉक्टर्स डे’ के तौर पर मनाया जाता है।

[नयी दिल्ली]पार्किंग का झगड़ा मंदिर पर फोड़ा : मध्य दिल्ली में तनाव : घटना रविवार को रात करीब 10 बजे हुई
मध्य दिल्ली के हौज काजी क्षेत्र में एक पार्किंग मुद्दे को लेकर दो समुदायों में झड़प के बाद तनाव उत्पन्न हो गया, उसके बाद एक मंदिर में तोड़फोड़ कर दी गई।
पुलिस उपायुक्त (मध्य) मंदीप सिंह रंधावा के ट्वीट के अनुसार “क्षेत्र में सामान्य स्थिति बहाल करने में मदद करने का आग्रह किया गया है “।
स्थानीय पुलिस के अनुसार एक वीडियो आनलाइन सामने आया जिसमें एक व्यक्ति की पार्किंग मुद्दे को लेकर कुछ लोगों द्वारा कथित रूप से पिटायी करते दिखाया गया है जिनके शराब के नशे में होने का संदेह है। झगड़ा तब और बढ़ गया जब दोनों समुदायों के सदस्य एकदूसरे से भिड़ गए।
झगड़े के बाद कुछ लोगों ने क्षेत्र में मंदिर में तोड़फोड़ कर दी जिससे साम्प्रदायिक तनाव उत्पन्न हो गया।।
