केन्द्रीय प्रशासनिक अधिकरण के अध्यक्ष और सिक्किम उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश प्रमोद कोहली के नेतृत्व में एक शिष्टमंडल ने शुक्रवार को राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद से मुलाकात की और आरोप लगाया कि कुछ राजनीतिक तत्व संशोधित नागरिकता कानून के खिलाफ हिंसक प्रदर्शनकारियों को प्रश्रय दे रहे हैं और इस अशांति का ‘बाहरी आयाम’ भी है।१५४ बुद्धिजीवियों ने इन्हें समर्थन दिया है
उन्होंने हालांकि संशोधित नागरिकता कानून, राष्ट्रीय जनसंख्या पंजी और राष्ट्रीय नागरिक पंजी के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन भड़काने को लेकर किसी दल या व्यक्ति का नाम नहीं दिया।
प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने कहा कि ‘द्वेषपूर्ण’ माहौल पैदा करने के लिए कुछ संगठनों की समाज में विभाजन पैदा करने की हरकत से वह चिंतिंत है। उसने कहा कि यदि आंदोलन शांतिपूर्ण रहता है और लोगों को असुविधा नहीं होती है, तो उसे इस आंदोलन से कोई एतराज नहीं है।
प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने राष्ट्रपति को एक ज्ञापन सौंपा जिसमें उच्च न्यायालयों के 11 पूर्व न्यायाधीश, आईएएस, आईपीएस, आईएफएस और पूर्व राजनयिक समेत 72 पूर्व नौकरशाहों , 56 शीर्ष पूर्व रक्षा अधिकारियों, बुद्धिजीवियों, अकादमिक विद्वानों और चिकित्सा पेशेवरों के हस्ताक्षर हैं।
ज्ञापन में कहा गया है कि प्रबुद्ध नागरिक चाहते हैं कि केंद्र पूरी गंभीरता से इस मामले पर गौर करे और देश के लोकतांत्रिक संस्थानों की रक्षा करे एवं ऐसी ताकतों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करे।

ऑक्सफ़ोर्ड डिक्शनरी के 10वें संस्करण में २६ नए भारतीय शब्द शामिल
(नयी दिल्ली)ऑक्सफ़ोर्ड डिक्शनरी में २६ नए भारतीय शब्द शामिल
ऑक्सफोर्ड एडवांस्ड लर्नर डिक्शनरी के अद्यतन संस्करण में आधार, चावल, डब्बा, हड़ताल और शादी सहित 26 नए भारतीय अंग्रेजी शब्दों को जगह मिली है।
शब्दकोश का 10वां संस्करण शुक्रवार को जारी किया गया जिसमें कुल 384 भारतीय अंग्रेजी शब्द हैं। साथ ही चैटबोट, फेक न्यूज और माइक्रोप्लास्टिक सहित करीब 1,000 नए शब्दों को भी इस शब्दकोश में जगह मिली है।
शब्दकोश का नया संस्करण ऑक्सफोर्ड लर्नर्स डिक्शनरी की वेबसाइट और ऐप पर संवादनात्मक सुविधा से युक्त है। वेबसाइट में दृश्य-ध्वनि शिक्षण, वीडियो वाल्कथ्रू(सॉफ्टवेयर), स्वयं अध्ययन गतिविधियां और परिष्कृत आई-राइटर और आई-स्पीकर टूल्स जैसे अद्यतन सुविधाएं हैं।
कुछ अन्य भारतीय अंग्रेजी शब्द जिनको शब्दकोश में जगह मिली है वें हैं आंटी (पहले से मौजूद ऑन्ट शब्द का भारतीय स्वरूप), बस स्टैंड, डीम्ड यूनिवर्सिटी, एफआईआर, नॉन-वेज, रिड्रेसल, टेम्पो, ट्यूब लाइट, वेज और वीडियोग्राफ।
शब्दकोश के ऑनलाइन संस्करण में जिन चार भारतीय अंग्रेजी शब्दों को शामिल किया गया है वे हैं करंट (बिजली के लिए), लूटर, लूटिंग और उपजिला।
ऑक्सफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी प्रेस की अधिकार फातिमा के अनुसार शब्दकोश के ऐप पर 86,000 शब्द, 95,000 वाक्यांश, 1,12,000 अर्थ और 2,37,000 उदाहरण हैं।
उल्लेखनीय है कि इस शब्दकोश का 77 साल का इतिहास है। मूल रूप से इसे 1942 में जापान में प्रकाशित किया गया था और 1948 में पहली बार ऑक्सफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी प्रेस ने इसका प्रकाशन किया। लर्नर शब्दकोश इसके संस्थापक अल्बर्ट सिडनी हॉर्नबी के मूल्यों पर आधारित है जिनका उद्देश्य दुनियाभर में इस भाषा को सीखने वाले लोगों को अंग्रेजी भाषा के अर्थ को समझने में मदद करना था।

लेकिन इस विषय मे यह कहना अनुचित नही होगा के तत्कालीन भारत सरकार द्वारा 1947 में भी ऐसी ही कुछ सम्पत्ति का एडजस्टमेंट किया गया था

मौजूदाप्रदेश और केंद्र सरकार में भी गुहार(PMOPG/के/2016/0125052) लगाने का कोई परिणाम नजर नही आयायहां तक के RTI के तहत #पँजांबसरकार

(नयी दिल्ली) पँजांब के कैप्टेन मिले कांग्रेस की कैप्टेन सोनिया से और नई समन्वय समिति की घोषणा हो गई
पंजाब में सरकार और कांग्रेस पार्टी के बीच बेहतर तालमेल सुनिश्चित करने के मकसद से मंगलवार को 11 सदस्यीय समन्वय समिति का गठन किया।
पार्टी के संगठन महासचिव केसी वेणुगोपाल के मुताबिक कांग्रेस की पंजाब प्रभारी आशा कुमारी की अगुवाई में बनी इस समन्वय समिति ने मुख्यमंत्री अमरिंदर सिंह, प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष सुनील जाखड़ और कई अन्य नेता शामिल हैं।
कांग्रेस ने सोमवार को वरिष्ठ नेता पी चिदंबरम की अगुवाई में पंजाब के लिए पांच सदस्यीय घोषणापत्र क्रियान्वयन समिति गठित की थी।
इसके साथ ही पार्टी ने मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, राजस्थान और पुडुचेरी में संगठन और सरकारों के बीच बेहतर तालमेल सुनिश्चित करने तथा चुनावी वादों को प्रभावी ढंग से लागू करने के लिए समन्वय समितियां एवं घोषणापत्र क्रियान्वयन समितियां गठित की थीं।

The Central Government has notified the structure of the National Startup Advisory Council to advise the Government on measures needed to build a strong ecosystem for nurturing innovation and startups in the country to drive sustainable economic growth and generate large scale employment opportunities. The individual names will be notified later.
The Council will suggest measures to foster a culture of innovation amongst citizens and students in particular, promote innovation in all sectors of economy across the country, including semi-urban and rural areas, support creative and innovative ideas through incubation and research and development to transform them into valuable products, processes or solutions to improve productivity and efficiency and create an environment of absorption of innovation in industry. It will also suggest measures to facilitate public organizations to assimilate innovation with a view to improving public service delivery, promote creation, protection and commercialization of intellectual property rights, make it easier to start, operate, grow and exit businesses by reducing regulatory compliances and costs, promote ease of access to capital for startups, incentivize domestic capital for investments into startups, mobilize global capital for investments in Indian startups, keep control of startups with original promoters and provide access to global markets for Indian startups.
The National Startup Advisory Council will be chaired by Minster for Commerce & Industry. The Council will consist of the non-official members, to be nominated by Central Government, from various categories like founders of successful startups, veterans who have grown and scaled companies in India, persons capable of representing interests of investors into startups, persons capable of representing interests of incubators and accelerators and representatives of associations of stakeholders of startups and representatives of industry associations. The term of the non-official members of the Startup Advisory Council will be for a period of two years.
The nominees of the concerned Ministries/Departments/Organisations, not below the rank of Joint Secretary to the Government of India, will be ex-officio members of the Council. Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade will be the Convener of the Council.

Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Tuesday dared the SAD to quit the NDA alliance at the Centre, a day after the party decided not to contest the Delhi assembly polls on being told by the BJP to change its stance over the CAA.
The Punjab CM said Delhi was the second state after Haryana where the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) had decided not to contest the assembly elections in alliance with the BJP.
He said the decision was “motivated by political compulsions” as the SAD had realised that it had “no ground support” and could not win even a single seat.
“Or perhaps, the BJP was not ready to give them what they wanted in terms of seats, prompting them to look for a graceful way out of the situation,” said Amarinder Singh.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday granted stay on the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) order that had set aside the appointment of senior IPS officer Dinkar Gupta as the state police chief.
The state of Punjab on Monday as well as DGP Gupta on Monday had approached the high court against the CAT order.
The petition challenging the CAT order was taken up by a division bench of justices Jaswant Singh and Sant Prakash
The court stayed the CAT order, said senior advocate Puneet Bali, the counsel for DGP Gupta.
On January 17, the CAT had set aside the appointment of Gupta as the state police chief that had come as a big blow to the Amarinder Singh-led state government.

भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने सोमवार को छात्रों के साथ ‘परीक्षा पर चर्चा’ की और उनसे कहा कि परीक्षा में अच्छे अंक मिलना ही सब कुछ नहीं है। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने सुझाव दिया कि घरों में एक कमरा तकनीकमुक्त हो और वहां कोई उपकरण (गैजट) नहीं होना चाहिए।
प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि वह छात्रों के साथ वह बिना किसी ‘फिल्टर’ के खुलकर बातचीत करेंगे। उन्होंने छात्रों को संबोधित करते कहा कि वे उनके साथ खुल कर चर्चा करें। उन्होंने सोशल मीडिया पर प्रचलित ‘हैशटेग’ का जिक्र करते हुये कहा कि छात्रों और उनके बीच होने वाली चर्चा ‘हैशटेग विदाउट फिल्टर’ होगी।
इस कार्यक्रम का सीधा प्रसारण किया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि नयी प्रौद्योगिकी की जानकारी होनी चाहिए लेकिन इससे जीवन प्रभावित नहीं होना चाहिए।
इसके साथ उन्होंने समय के सदुपयोग का भी जिक्र किया और एक सवाल के जवाब में कहा, ‘‘स्मार्ट फोन आपका जितना समय चोरी करता है, उसमें से 10 प्रतिशत कम करके आप अपने मां, बाप, दादा, दादी के साथ बिताएं। तकनीक हमें खींचकर अपने पास ले जाए, इससे हमें बचना चाहिए। हमारे अंदर ये भावना होनी चाहिए कि मैं तकनीक को अपनी मर्जी से उपयोग करूंगा।’’
उपकरणों के अधिक इस्तेमाल के बारे में प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा, ‘‘परिवार में या अन्यत्र स्थानों पर अधिकतर लोग गैजेट में लीन रहते हैं। मैं खुद को एक निश्चित समय के लिये प्रतिदिन गैजेट से पूरी तरह से अलग रखता हूं।’’
उन्होंने छात्रों से अपील की कि घर में एक ऐसा कमरा निर्धारित करें जिसमें तकनीक का प्रवेश वर्जित हो। उसमें सिर्फ अपने परिजनों से बातचीत करने का ही विकल्प हो। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसा करने से आप देखेंगे कि कितना लाभ मिलेगा।
