(New Delhi)AAP Got Shocking Defeat in Minority Dominated Chauhan Bangar war
The AAP on Wednesday won four of the five civic wards in Delhi in a bypoll
The AAP, however, suffered a shock defeat in the minority-dominated Chauhan Bangar ward, where Chaudhary Zubair Ahmad of the Congress defeated the party’s candidate Mohammad Ishraq Khan by a whopping margin of 10,642 votes.
The BJP failed to open its account in the bypolls, being seen as the semi-final ahead of the civic polls due in 2022, and even lost the Shalimar Bagh seat held by it to the AAP.
The Ruling AAP candidates won from Kalyanpuri, Rohin-C, Trilokpuri and Shalimar Bagh North wards.
According to the State Election Commission, the AAP polled the highest 46.10 per cent votes in the bypolls, followed by 27.29 per cent by the BJP and 21.84 per cent by the Congress.
More than 50 per cent votes were cast in the bypolls for the five municipal wards held on February 28.

Unemployment High in India ;Dr Manmohan Singh
former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on Tuesday said unemployment is high in the country and its informal sector is in shambles following the “ill considered demonetisation decision” taken by the BJP-led government in 2016.
He also criticised the central government for not holding regular consultations with the states.
Inaugurating a development summit virtually organised by the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Development Studies, an economic think tank aligned to the Congress ideology in poll-bound Kerala, Singh said temporary measures by the Government of India and the Reserve Bank to paper over the credit problem cannot blind us to the looming credit crisis ahead that could affect the small and medium sector.
He said in Kerala and in many other states, public finances are in disarray with states having to resort to excessive borrowing, which creates an intolerable burden on future budgets.
He said “When I presented the national budget in 1991 as Finance Minister, I quoted Victor Hugo, who had said, “Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come.”
I get the feeling that the unanimity and clarity displayed by the UDF on the road ahead will lead to Kerala’s idea moment arriving this year”

(New Delhi)LPG Price Hiked Even For Ujjwala Scheme Beneficiaries – Cooking gas LPG price was on Monday hiked by ₹ 25 per cylinder across all categories, including subsidised fuel and those availed by Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries –
LPG prices have gone up by ₹ 125 per 14.2-kg cylinder since the beginning of February, price data from state-owned oil marketing companies showed.
Also, jet fuel prices were hiked by a steep 6.5 per cent on the back of a rally in international oil prices.
A 14.2-kg cylinder in Delhi now costs ₹ 819 as against ₹ 794 at which they were supplied on Sunday.
However, this subsidy has been eliminated in metros and major cities through successive price increases over the past couple of years. So, in places like Delhi, there is no subsidy paid to customers since May 2020 and all LPG users pay the market price, which currently is ₹ 819.

पंजाब स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग ने स्कूल मुखियों के पास मौजूद खेल फंड के प्रयोग सम्बन्धी नए दिशा-निर्देश जारी कर दिए हैं ताकि इसे ख़र्च करने सम्बन्धी और ज्यादा पारदर्शिता लाई जा सके।
स्कूल प्रमुख को 60 हज़ार रुपए,
जि़ला शिक्षा अधिकारी को एक लाख रुपए तक और
विभाग के प्रमुख को समूचे फंड का प्रयोग करने सम्बन्धी अधिकार दिए गए हैं।
ये फंड खेल के स्तर को ऊँचा उठाने के लिए प्रयोग में लाए जाने हैं। खेल के मैदानों के निर्माण और खेल का सामान खरीदने के लिए स्कूलों को पाँच सदस्यीय कमेटी गठित करने के लिए निर्देश दिए गए हैं जिनमें एक स्कूल प्रमुख, स्कूल मैनेजमेंट कमेटियां (एस.एम.सी.) के दो मैंबर और स्कूल अध्यापकों में से दो मैंबर लेने की व्यवस्था की गई है। जिस स्कूल में खेल से संबंधित अध्यापक कार्यरत है, उसे कमेटी में शामिल करने को यकीनी बनाने के लिए भी कहा गया है। खेल मैदान तैयार करने के लिए जि़ले के जे.ई. द्वारा अनुमान तैयार करवाने और इसके बाद ई. टैंडरिंग के द्वारा अलग-अलग ठेकेदारों /फर्मों से टैंडर प्राप्त करके खेल के मैदान विकसित करने के लिए निर्देश जारी किये हैं। प्रवक्ता के अनुसार खेल के मैदान की तैयारी करने से पहले से लेकर कार्य के मुकम्मल होने तक की सभी तस्वीरें लेकर इनको स्कूल के रिकार्ड में रखने के लिए भी कहा गया है। खेल का सामान खरीदने के लिए खिलाडिय़ों की आयु और लिंग का ध्यान रखने और खेल के बढिय़ा क्वालिटी के सामान खरीद के लिए भी निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
इन सभी गतिविधियों पर निगरानी रखने के लिए विभाग के अधिकारियों की टीमें समया-समय पर स्कूलों का दौरा करेंगी। खेल के मैदानों की तैयारी के काम पर नजऱ रखने और खेल के सामान की खरीद के समय जि़ला शिक्षा अधिकारी/डी.एम. स्पोर्टस /बी.एम. स्पोर्टस को स्कूल का दौरा करने के लिए कहा गया है।
