Governorof MP Lalji Tandon on Friday removed six ministers, supporters of Jyotiraditya Scindia, on the recommendation of Chief Minister Kamal Nath.
Amid the ongoing political crisis triggered by Scindia’s exit from the Congress and rebellion of 22 MLAs who support him, Nath had, on March 10, written to Tandon seeking immediate removal of the six ministers.

Govind Singh Rajput,
Mahendra Singh Sisodiya,
Pradyumn Singh Tomar and
Prabhuram Chaudhari
were removed from the cabinet with immediate effect on Friday
Earlier in the day, Nath met the governor at 11 am and submitted a letter expressing his government’s willingness to face a floor test in the Assembly.

Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Wednesday ordered transfer of six senior DCP-level officers of Delhi Police.
2008-batch IPS officer, Chinmoy Biswal, has been posted as deputy commissioner of police (Headquarters).
2015-batch IPS officer Manjeet, who is in Delhi on an inter-cadre deputation from Bihar, has been posted as DCP (Metro).
DCP (Land & Building) Mohammad Akhtar Rizvi has been posted as additional DCP of North East Delhi.
Jitendra Mani, who was the Anti-Riots Cells DCP, has been made the DCP (Land & Building) while DCP (Metro) Vikram Porwal has been given the charge of special officer to the Delhi Police commissioner.
Nishant Gupta, who was looking after the work of Additional DCP SWAT, has become the Additional DCP of recruitment cell.

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi’s visit to Bangladesh next week to attend the birth centenary celebrations of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has been put off after the commemorative programmes were deferred due to detection of Coronavirus cases in that country, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Monday.
Decision has been taken by Bangladesh to defer the public events being organised to celebrate the birth centenary of the Father of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The deferment is on account of the detection of cases of coronavirus in Bangladesh, and the larger global public health situation in this regard.

कार्मिक मंत्रालय के अनुसार कोरोना वायरस के प्रसार की रोकथाम के लिये केंद्र सरकार के सभी कर्मचारियों को एहतियातन शुक्रवार को आधार आधारित बायोमीट्रिक प्रणाली से हाजिरी लगाने से छूट दे दी गई
इस प्रणाली के अंतर्गत कर्मियों को एक ही इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स मशीन को अपने अंगूठे से दबा कर अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज करानी होती है जिससे संक्रमण फैलने की संभावना हो सकती है

बिमल जुल्का बने नए मुख्य सूचना आयुक्त :५ पद अभी भी खाली

(नई दिल्ली) बिमल जुल्का बने नए मुख्य सूचना आयुक्त (सीआईसी)
राष्ट्रपति भवन की एक विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद द्वारा राष्ट्रपति भवन में जुल्का को केन्द्रीय सूचना आयोग में सीआईसी के पद की शपथ दिलाई।
सुधीर भार्गव के 11 जनवरी को सेवानिवृत्त होने के बाद आयोग के प्रमुख का पद रिक्त था। आयोग में (सीआईसी) समेत सूचना आयुक्तों के 11 स्वीकृत पद हैं। अभी छह सूचना आयुक्त हैं।
जुल्का के सीआईसी के रूप में नियुक्त होने के बाद पांच और सूचना आयुक्तों के पद रिक्त हैं।

Lok Sabha passed a motion suspending seven Congress members for the remaining period of the Budget session for their “gross misconduct” after they snatched papers from the Speaker’s table and “utter disregard” for House rules.
As soon as the House met at 3 pm following an adjournment, Meenakshi Lekhi, who was presiding the House, named Gaurav Gogoi, T N Prathapan, Dean Kuriakose, Manicka Tagore, Rajmohan Unnithan, Benny Behanan and Gurjeet Singh Aujla.The Congress on Thursday alleged that the suspension of its seven members from Lok Sabha for the entire session was a “dictatorial decision” by the government aimed at weakening the Opposition’s voice ahead of a debate over Delhi riots.
Reacting to the development, Congress’s leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said it was a “government decision” and not one taken by the Speaker.
Gogoi, who was among the suspended MPs, said, “Suspend us for a year, but discuss the Delhi riots and heal the wounds of people.”

President Said ,By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 301 of title 3, United States Code, it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. Delegation of Re-establishment Authority. The Secretary of Health and Human Services is delegated the authority under section 9(a)(1) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended (5 U.S.C. App.), to re-establish the Presidential Advisory Council on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria (Council). In exercising this authority, the Secretary may direct the Council to perform duties consistent with those assigned to the Council in section 505(b) of Public Law 116-22, and may, at the Secretary’s discretion, specify the membership of the Council, consistent with the requirements of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended (5 U.S.C. App.).

H.R. 504, the “DHS Field Engagement Accountability Act,” which requires the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to develop and update at least once every five years a strategy for DHS engagement with fusion centers;
S.J.Res. 65, which reappoints John Fahey as a citizen regent of the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution; and
S.J.Res. 67, which reappoints Risa Lavizzo-Mourey as a citizen regent of the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution; and
S. 375, the “Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019,” which improves efforts to identify and reduce Government-wide improper payments.
