[WASHINGTON D.C] NAPA Condemns Silence of Pakistan Over Assassination Of two Sikh Traders Condemning Assassination of two Sikh Traders N A PA Has demanded arrest of Unknown killers In Peshawar Pakistan
on August 6, members of Peshawar’s Sikh community were came under attacked with one killed and two injured in a firing incident. The attackers had targeted traders as they opened fire on their shops in a market in Hashnagri in Peshawar.
Satnam Singh Chahal executive director of North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) has strongly condemned the assassination of two Sikh shopkeepers in Pakistan and expressed its serious concern about the security of life and property of Sikh Community in Pakistan.
Chahal while terming this incident a target killing and terror act set a deadline of three days to local police for arrest of the two unknown assassins and made it clear that this second act of target killing of Sikh community within one month put a question mark on performance of Pakistan police to give sense of protection to its citizens.
NAPA Says Government of Pakistan totally failed to protect the life and property of Sikh [Minority[ community in Pakistan. Chahal urged the Pakistan Government to mobilize the police as well as local govt machinery for arrest of the killers and giving them exemplary punishment.
NAPA also demanded a compensation amount of Rs 25 lakh each for the slain Sikhs
