SAS Nagar registers 16 positive cases coupled with the relief that almost every surge is accompanied sizeable recoveries, informed Girish Dayalan Deputy Commissioner, SAS Nagar adding that seven people recovered from the infection on Thursday.
The total occurrence of cases in the district in the past three and half months has been 472 while 294 which amounts to nearly 63 percent have recuperated. The active cases being nearly 35 percent ie 169. Also, the district has encountered 9 fatalities taking the COVID-19 mortality rate in the district to about 1.91 percent.
