[१]हमसरि दीनु दइआलु न तुमसरि|
अब पतीआरू किया कीजै ||

भावार्थ

संत रविदास जी मनुष्य की दयनीय हालत को बयां कर रहे हैं कि हम तो दीन हैं , लेकिन आप
(प्रभु , गुरु ) दया के महासागर हैं | आप हमारी दीन – हीन हालत पर इतनी कृपा कीजिए ताकि
जो जिंदगी और मौत का रहस्य है वह हमें समझ आ जाए|
[२]बचनी तोर मोर मनु मानै|
जन कउ पूरनु दीजै||

भावार्थ

आपके वचनों को अब मेरा मन मान गया है , गुरु के वचनों पर मेरा विश्वास दृढ हो गया है | आप मुझ
सेवक को एक पूर्ण इन्सान बना दीजिए |

प्रभु आप मुझ सेवक को एक पूर्ण इन्सान बना दीजिए

[३]हउ बलि बलि जाउ रमईया कारने |
कारन कवन अबोल रहाउ ||

भावार्थ

हे सृष्टि कर्ता ! मैं तुम पर बलिहार जाता हूँ , अपने आपको तुम पर न्यौछावर करता हूँ | आप मुझे उस शब्द
से जोड़ सकते हो जो हमें शून्य अवस्था में पहुंचा देता है , जिसमें बोलने की जरुरत नहीं , जिसे हम तभी सुनते
हैं , जब हमारे अंतर के कान खुल जाते हैं |
[४]बहुत जनम बिछुरे माधउ |
इहु जनमु तुम्हारे लेखे |

भावार्थ

हे प्रभु ! आपसे बिछड़े बहुत जन्म बीत गए हैं | चौरासी लाख योनियों में भटकने के कारण जो यह मानव चोला मिला है
यह मुझे आपके चरणों में ही बिताना है |
[५]कहि रविदास आस लगि जीवउ |
चिर भइओ दरसनु देखे ||
यह प्रार्थना संत रविदास जी महाराज प्रभु से कर रहे हैं कि मेरी आप से बहुत आशा है कि इस जीवन में ही मुझे आपके दर्शन हो जाएँ
