Uttar Pradesh PWD and Irrigation Minister Shivpal Singh Yadav said on 13th Feb That their government is committed to the development of Mathura for which a plan would be chalked out.
He Assured “After the ongoing Vidhan Sabha session, I would stay here for a night and chalk out a plan for the development of Mathura with the help of locals,”
He was speaking during a religious discourse in Vrindavan.
On the issue of Yamuna pollution, Yadav said, “Now 500 cusec of Ganga water would be discharged into Yamuna, instead of 300 cusec.”
He Added
It is being done as people had complained that owing to pollution, Yamuna water has ceased to be fit for use,
Regarding ban on cow slaughter, Singh said, “Our government is committed to protect cows.
