(Mumbai) Superstar Akshay Kumar’s mother Smt Aruna Bhatia, who was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital died this morning at the Hiranandani Hospital. The last rites of Kumar’s mother were held today afternoon at Pawan Hans crematorium in suburban Mumbai.
In an emotional post on Facebook and Twitter 53 Years old Kumar said
She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world

Actor Govinda and Akshay have tested positive for the novel coronavirus and are under home quarantine,
The 57-year-old Govinda has “mild symptoms” and is following necessary protocol.
As per His wife Sunita Ahuja,”He (Govinda) tested positive today morning. His symptoms are absolutely mild. There’s nothing to worry about. He is quarantining at home and taking precautions,”
Govinda was last seen on the big screen in the 2019 comedy “Rangeela Raja”.

The actor is having a golden run at the ticket window with four films releasing every year and all of them attaining commercial success. This year he has three hit films to his credit — “Kesari”, “Mission Mangal” , “Housefull 4” — and is awaiting the release of “Good Newwz” that will come on December 27.
But the actor says he doesn’t take his brand “seriously” and believes in surrendering to the director’s vision.
Akshay said in a group interview said
“The basic idea is you should keep on jumping from one genre to other. I did a mistake initially in my career by sticking around to only one genre of films, like I kept on doing action films. One should not get bored due to their work. If you keep doing different things you will enjoy it.”
Akshay credits filmmakers Rajkumar Santoshi and Priyadarshan for offering him out-of-the-box stories when he was trapped in the action hero image.
Akshay, however, said he still feels anxious before the release of his films as a lot of money, hardwork and expectations are invested in every single project.

[Mumbai] Akshay’s “Gold” 1st Bollywood Film to Release in Saudi Arabia
Akshay Kumar-fronted “Gold” has become the first Bollywood film ever to release in Saudi Arabia.
The Reema Kagti-directed sports film is only the second movie after Rajinikanth’s hit social drama, “Kaala” to hit the theatres in the Gulf country.
Akshay today took to Twitter to share the news.
“The story of India’s first Gold medal victory for the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Happy to share, #Gold is the first ever Bollywood movie to release in the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia, in cinemas from today! @excelmovies @ZeeStudiosInt,” he wrote.
“Gold” is the fictional re-telling of the India’s iconic win at the 1948 London Olympics.
Also featuring Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor and Vineet Kumar Singh, the film released on August 15.
In May, Saudi Arabia held a private screening of international cultural phenomenon, “Black Panther” to herald the launch of movie theatres, open to the public, in the kingdom.

“What happened that day was unfortunate and uncalled for.
I was at the airport and I heard a commotion which made me turn around, I didn’t notice anything wrong so I walked on. It was later brought to my notice that my bodyguard had punched a fan,”
