Anil Kapoor ,Bollywood star, believes the reason for his success is “self-reflection and realisation”.
The 62-year-old actor made his feature film debut as a lead in the 1980 Telugu film “Vamsa Vruksham” and after a few odd projects, made foray into Hindi movies in leading role with 1983’s love triangle “Woh Saat Din”.
In past four decades, he has maintained a steady career with films such as “Tezaab”, “Beta”, “Mr India”, “Pukar”, “Slumdog Millionaire” and “Dil Dhadakne Do” to his credit.
“Kapoor told Agency that he believes in a philosophy that nothing is permanent in life and tries to make the most of the opportunities he receives.
Kapoor said he derives inspiration from the talented people he works with and still feels as enthusiastic as he did at the beginning of his career.
The actor’s last release was Anees Bazmee’s “Pagalpanti”.

Actor Anil Kapoor, who turned 61 on December 24, celebrated his birthday with the cast and crew of his upcoming film “Race 3”.
The veteran actor posted on Twitter a photo him offering cake to his co-actor and film’s lead Salman Khan at the mini party organised on the sets.
“Who says an on-set birthday has to be boring! My birthday was made extra special by the Salman Khan Films and Tips teams! Thank you all for your love and wishes!” Kapoor wrote on Twitter.
Apart from Salman and Anil, “Race 3”, directed by Remo D’Souza, also features Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Salem and Freddy Daruwala.

Bollywood Star Nana Patekar agrees that he fights with everyone, but maintains that he has no enemies.
Patekar, 64, who will be seen next in Anees Bazmee’s “Welcome Back”, said he even fought with the director but their arguments did not last for long.
“I had fights and arguments with Anees Bazmee but it doesn’t last longer. Anees is a good director. It was nice, amazing experience working with him.
“I fight with everyone but I don’t have any enemies. There is no enmity with anyone,” Patekar told reporters here at the trailer launch of the film.
The “Ab Tak Chhappan” star said Bazmee provides script to his actors at the very last moment.
The comedy drama, a sequel to the 2007 hit “Welcome”, also stars Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia.
When Anil was asked if it is true that Patekar is short-tempered, the Marathi star interrupted and said, “We just had a fight ten minutes back on how to present this event.”
But Anil is all praise for him.
