[New Delhi]Kejriwal’s Relative Arrested in PWD Scam
Vinay Bansal, son of Kejriwal’s brother-in-law, was arrested this morning, .
3 FIRs, including one against a company run by the chief minister’s brother-in-law Surender Bansal, were registered by the ACB in this case on May 9 last year.
3 companies, including
Renu Constructions (owned by Bansal, Kamal Singh and Pawan Kumar), were included in the FIRs.
In a complaint,
Rahul Sharma, founder of Roads Anti-Corruption Organisation (RACO), had alleged that Kejriwal and PWD minister Satyendra Jain misused their office for grant of contracts to Bansal. However, they were not named in the FIR.
RACO, an organisation which claims to monitor construction projects in the national capital, had alleged that a firm linked to Bansal was involved in financial irregularities in building a drainage system in north-west Delhi.
It was also alleged that the bills sent to the Public Works Department (PWD) for unfinished works were “false and fabricated”

[1]Premature repatriation of Rupak Kumar Dutta,IPS (KTK/81) Special Secretary (CFT) in MHA to his parent cadre with immediate effect.
[2] Extension in service of P.P.Pandey, IPS (GJ:1980) as Director General of Police (DGP) and Director, Anti Corruption Bureau, Gujarat for three months beyond 31.01.2017.

Chief Minister Of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal today asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to “give up control” of Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) and support Delhi government’s anti-graft efforts.
Kejriwal Tweeted
“I wud also urge PM n Rajnath ji to now give up their control over ACB n support Del govt’s anti-corruption efforts, (sic)”
The Chief Minister also said that the Delhi government is not helpless and has several ways to nab corrupt persons.
He tweeted.”Just becoz ACB is not wid us doesn’t mean Del govt is helpless. Del govt has many ways to nab corrupt (sic),”
In the past, Kejriwal has accused the Centre of taking away the powers of ACB and has demanded that the anti-graft body be handed over to the AAP dispensation to take strict action against those involved in corruption.
, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia Has warned Delhi government’s ministers, legislators and officers of strict action if they are found to be involved in corruption, after Principal Secretary Sanjay Pratap Singh was arrested by CBI for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 2.2 lakh.
Sisodia had also said that there is no space for any “corrupt” officer in the Delhi government.
“We want to give a clear message to officers involved in corruption that they won’t be spared…Singh’s arrest message is if you are corrupt, we won’t spare you irrespective of whether you are a peon, MLAs, officer or minister,” Sisodia had said.

Anti-Corruption Bureau Searched 7 Properties of NCP Leader Chhagan Bhujbal

[Mumbai,Maharashtra]ACB searched 7 properties of N C P Leader Chhagan Bhujbal
The Anti-Corruption Bureau of the Maharashtra Police today conducted searches at various properties belonging to the NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal and his family members in Nashik+Mumbai+Thane } Navi Mumbai.
The former PWD minister reacted to the development saying that he was being targeted by the BJP-Shiv Sena government in an unprecedented manner
The properties searched included ‘Bhujbal Farm’, his farmhouse near Nashik, houses and offices in Nashik and offices at Manmad as well as at Yewla, which he represents in the state Assembly.
In a statement, ACB said there were seven properties in Mumbai, two in Thane, five in Nashik and two in Pune where searches were underway to ascertain the assets owned by Chhagan Bhujbal, his son, MLA Pankaj Bhujbal and nephew Samir Bhujbal.
