Kejriwal to Hold Six Rallies against Demonetisation
The AAP today announced that it will organise six rallies across the nation, including one in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s constituency Varanasi, and raise questions on the alleged “Rs 8 lakh crore scam” related to it.
Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will hold three rallies in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh starting from December 1 in Meerut, followed by a rally in Varanasi and Lucknow on December 8 and 18 respectively,
Modi has defeated Kejriwal from the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat in May 2014 by a massive margin of 3.37 lakh votes.
The rallies assume significance as UP goes to polls early next year.
AAP leader Ashish Khetan said.
On December 20, Kejriwal will hold a rally in Bhopal, followed by two more in Ranchi and Jaipur on December 22 and 23 respectively.
Notably, all three are BJP-ruled states.

The Aam Aadmi Party has said it is ready to face elections in Goa any time.
The elections to the 40-member Goa Legislative Assembly are due in March next year.
People can demand an early election as well,” AAP leader Ashish Khetan told PTI.
AAP has already announced it will contest all the 40 constituencies of the state.
Party’s national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had also recently addressed a public rally in Panaji.
However, he also said that AAP would prefer to sit in opposition if it has to take help of any other political outfit to gain power.
Kejriwal is likely to visit Goa at least once a month and later more frequently when the polls approach.
Notably, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar had ruled out early polls in the state, saying he was not in favour of elections before completion of five years of the government.
