बजट एयरलाइन इंडिगो और जेट एयरवेज के विरुद्ध एक और जांच के आदेश हुए हैं|दरअसल बजट एयरलाइन्स फ्लाइट्स को भरने के लिए अतिरिक्त समय लेने के लिए फ्लाइट को लेट करती आ रही हैं इनमे इंडिगो एयर लाइन्स द्वारा सबसे अधिक फ्लाइट्स को लेट किया जाता है |ऐसे में एयरपोर्ट्स पर एयर प्लेन्स में टकराने की आशंका बनी रहती है|शुक्रवार को भी ऐसा ही एक हादसा होते होते टल गया|रायपुर रनवे पर इंडिगो और जेट एयरवेज के प्लेन्स आमने सामने आ गए | जबकि इंडिगो की फ्लाइट [६ई २४५]अभी रनवे पर ही खड़ी थी| एयर ट्रेफिक कंट्रोलर की सूझ बूझ से स्थिति कोसंभाल कर हादसे को टाला गया
इंडिगो के प्लेन में आईपीएल के दिल्ली डेयर डेविल के खिलाडी भी थे |गौरतलब है कि फ्लाइट को भरने के उद्देश्य से फ्लाइट्स को लेट करने का चलन बढ़ चला है जिसके फलस्वरूप अंतिम समय पर आने वाले फ्लायर्स से किराया भी ज्यादा वसूला जाता है मगर ऐसे में एयरपोर्ट्स पर व्यवस्था में परेशानी आना स्वाभाविक है
लेकिन दुर्भाग्य से केंद्रीय उड्डयन मंत्री अशोक गजपति राजू पुष्यपति ने स्थिति को सुधारने में संसद तक में असमर्थता जताई है

To Develop Academic Standards of international level Govt To Setup Aviation University
Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati inaugurated a day long workshop on National Aviation University . The workshop aimed to arrive at an integrated perspective on post-graduate and under graduate education, research domains, executive education, industry linkages and skilling, faculty sourcing and Ministry-University relationship.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati said that the objective of the University shall be to develop academic standards of an international level and undertake other measures as it may deemed fit to facilitate the development for skilled aviation manpower including the licensed category of aviation personnel. He added that a sense of direction should guide the measures for promoting innovation in teaching-learning process and undertaking inter-disciplinary studies and research.
Drawing attention of the participants towards the shortage of manpower in the sector, Dr. Mahesh Sharma emphasized that deliberations at the workshop should be a guiding map for the civil aviation industry.
The Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University Act, 2013 received the assent of the President on 18th September, 2013 to establish a university by the name of “Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University” at Fursatganj in district Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh.

Ministry of Civil Aviation,Launching KYR Portal,Opens Account For The First 100 days of Government It May Provide Information Regarding Refund of Air Tickets Also
Minister for Civil Aviation, Shri Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati launched here today a’ Know Your Rights’ (KYR) portal of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) . Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Shri G M Siddeshwara and other dignitaries were also present.It Is to mark 100 days of the new government.
While addressing a press conference on the occasion,Minister mentioned the humanitarian work undertaken by Air India for flood victims in Flood Effected J&K.
Describing the features of the portal, Dr Prabhat Kumar, DGCA said that it would provide information on the rights of passengers in cases of delays+cancellation + denied boarding+lost+delayed+misplaced + damaged baggage; and on matters related to booking, airfare components + refund of air tickets.
On the occasion, Shri Asok Kumar expressed commitment to start work in five selected locations in this financial year.

हवाई अड्डे के रखरखाव में अंतराष्ट्रीय संस्था दवारा नंबर दो घोषित चेन्नई एयर पोर्ट में भारत सरकार ने अनेकों कमियां पाई
नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री ने चेन्नई हवाई अड्डे के रखरखाव में सुधार के लिए अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए
नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री श्री अशोक गजपति राजू ने चेन्नई अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे के कामकाज की समीक्षा करने के लिए नागरिक उड्डयन सचिव और भारतीय विमान पत्तन प्राधिकरण (एएआई) के अध्यक्ष और वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के साथ एक बैठक की। यह बैठक चेन्नई हवाई अड्डे के रखरखाव में कमी और सुविधाओं में कमी से संबंधित शिकायतें मिलने के बाद बुलाई गई थी। मंत्री महोदय के निर्देश पर नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्रालय के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों ने 18 जुलाई 2014 को चेन्नई अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे का अचानक निरीक्षण किया था।
श्री राजू ने चेन्नई अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे की स्थिति पर चिंता व्यक्त की है और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डों के मापदंड के अनुरूप उचित स्वच्छता और यात्रियों को सुविधा देने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने हवाई अड्डे की स्थिति सुधारने के लिए अधिकारियों को सभी संभव उपाय करने और इन्हें एक महीने के भीतर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर के अनुरूप करने का निर्देश दिया। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि स्थिति का जायजा लेने के लिए वह जल्द ही हवाई अड्डे का स्वयं दौरा करेंगे।
इससे पूर्व अंतराष्ट्रीय संस्था एयरपोर्ट्स कौंसिल इंटरनेशनल (ACI) ने अपने सर्वे में एयरपोर्ट सर्विस क्वालिटी[ ASQ ] में चेन्नई एयरपोर्ट को ४.३० पॉइंट्स से हाई इन सर्विस क्वालिटी बताया था इस रेटिंग से एयरपोर्ट को नंबर दो घोषित किया गया

Indian Government Is Not In A Mood To Block Small Carriers On Metro Routes
Civil Aviation Minister Denies Saying that Small Carriers may be Blocked on Metro Routes. This Denial Has Come In Response To A News Item Published In Economics Times.
Civil Aviation Minister, Shri Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati has denied that he has ever said that small carriers would not be encouraged to fly on metro routes.
This Denial is in response to a news item carried by the `Economic Times’, Delhi titled “Government may block small carriers on metro routes” on page 8 today.
Economics Times Has Published That”
Smaller Carriers will not be encouraged to fly in the metro routes. The stand is likely to impact the plans of operating carriers like Air Costa and some others waiting for flying permits.
The move is aimed at preventing oversupply of capacity at the metro routes.
DGCA figures showed airlines have consistently added more capacity than there is demand for in the last few months. Executives at Air Costa weren’t immediately available for comment”.
The Need ,For Immediate Analysis of the Crisis in the Aviation Sector, Is Accepted By Minister
The Minister for Civil Aviation, Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati Assumed office at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan today And Accepted The Need For Immediate Analysis of the Crisis in the Aviation Sector.
Later, briefing the media, the Minister said, “We will do our best to ensure that passengers rights are not violated”. He added that operationalisation is one of the key concerns whereas an immediate analysis of the crisis in the aviation sector is required, to take steps towards creating level playing fields for all airlines. Referring to the role of foreign players in the aviation sector, he said, `we have to be of use to them without being detrimental to us’.
The Minister emphasized that the public sector does have a place in the overall growth of the aviation sector, but, `it has to perform’. He assured that all possible efforts would be taken towards shaping a viable and workable aviation policy. He also said that the issues raised in the media and parliament, from time to time, would be addressed in right earnest.Ministry of Civil Aviation
