Nikhil Sawhney is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Triveni Turbine Limited and a Director with Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited and GE Triveni Limited. whereas Abhimanyu is a third generation entrepreneur from the illustrious Hero Fame Munjal Family.
The Companies occupy leadership positions in their respective businesses of sugar manufacturing and engineered-to-order mechanical equipment spanning 14 manufacturing locations in India.
In June 2015, Nikhil was voted one of India’s forty ‘hottest’ business leaders under 40 years of age by The Economic Times, Nikhil has also been awarded the Udyog Ratna by the Institute of Economic Studies.
Nikhil has a Masters degree in Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Nikhil resides in New Delhi with his wife Zia and their son Zahan.
Nikhil follows a principle of responsible corporate citizenry and has initiated several community initiatives including rural community-based self-help programs as well as the Sustainable Sugarcane Initiative covering 250,000 of Triveni’s sugarcane farmers. Nikhil has helped found the CII-Triveni Water Institute and is an active trustee of the Tirath Ram Shah Charitable Hospital and the Emmanuel College India Trust, as well as a Fellow of the Aspen Institute of India and the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
Abhimanyu is a third generation entrepreneur from the illustrious Munjal Family.
With over 13 years of experience in strategic leadership and people management, he has held various executive positions in the Hero Group companies, and since 2013 has been leading the Group’s diversification into Financial Services through Hero FinCorp.
Under his leadership, Hero FinCorp is today one of the fastest growing NBFCs in India and has been recognized as an ‘Employer of choice’ by a number of independent agencies and surveys. From two seats occupied in the Finance department of Hero MotoCorp in 2013, it now has over 2,500 touch points across 1,008 cities, towns and villages. The AUM has increased from INR 300 Cr. in 2013 to INR 11,000 Cr. today.
A firm believer in innovation and technology, he has also setup a VC fund, Advantedge Partners. The fund helps budding entrepreneurs become innovation leaders by providing access to thought leaders, capital and scale opportunities through the vast Hero Group eco-system. Over the last three years, the professionally managed fund has grown its fund value of US$ 3 Million and made investments in over 18 startups.
A staunch supporter of stronger ties between the Indian industry and policy makers, Abhimanyu is a regular participant and contributor to various Government initiatives and Industry bodies. He is an elected member of the state council of Delhi and Chairman of the sub-committee on Cashless Economy. This initiative, run jointly by the Delhi State Government and Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), will work with the Delhi Government on bringing financial services to the masses.
Recognizing his contribution towards Indian Industry and strong business leadership, Abhimanyu has been facilitated by the Economic Times as ‘40 under 40 business leaders’ in India.

डा.. मन मोहन सिंहने पुराने रिश्तों का हवाला देते सीआईआई से सहयोग की कामना की

कंफेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन इंडस्ट्रीज (सीआईआई) की वार्षिक बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री डा. मन मोहन सिंह ने आज कंफेडरेशन से अपने पुराने मधुर रिश्तों का हवाला देते हुए व्यावसायिक क्षेत्र में साझेदारी की कामना की | उन्होंने कहा की वर्तमान में उद्योग जगत में निराशा है |विकास दर गिरकर पांच प्रतिशत तक पहुंच गई है| सरकार विकास दर आठ प्रतिशत तक हासिल करने के लिए प्रयास कर रही है। लेकिन विकास की इस नई इबारत को लिखने के लिए सरकार और व्यावसायिक क्षेत्र की साझेदारी की आवश्यकता है।
उन्होंने कहा, विकास दर में आई गिरावट अस्थायी है।
इस वार्षिक बैठक में उद्योगपतियों को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह ने कहा है कि कारोबारी माहौल, जो 2007 में असामान्य रूप से आशावादी था, आज असामान्य रूप से निराशावादी है। प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि पांच फीसदी की धीमी विकास दर निराशाजनक है, लेकिन फिर से यह आठ फीसदी हो सकता है।प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा, हमें स्वीकार करना होगा कि निर्यात कमजोर रहेगा और चालू खाता घाटा उम्मीद से अधिक रहेगा। हम राजकोषीय घाटे को कम करने के लिए हरसंभव कदम उठाने को प्रतिबद्ध हैं।
उन्होंने कहा, वर्तमान अस्थायी आर्थिक गिरावट के लिए आंशिक तौर पर वैश्विक तत्व जिम्मेदार हैं। हमें सुधारात्मक कदम उठाने होंगे।
उन्होंने साथ में यह भी कहा, नौकरशाही में भ्रष्टाचार और काहिली समस्याएं हैं। गठबंधन चलाना आसान नहीं।
भूमि अधिग्रहण को लेकर पिछले दिनों उठे विवादों पर उन्होंने कहा कि भूमि अधिग्रहण विधेयक + जल्द ही संसद में पेश होगा। कोयला खदान और पेट्रोलियम के छेत्र में सुधार किये जायेंगे |
डा. सिंह ने भारतीय उद्योग परिसंघ (सीआईआई) की वार्षिक आमसभा में कहा कि सरकार प्रत्यक्ष विदेशी निवेश नीति में और राहत देगी और मुद्रास्फीति कम करने के लिए कदम उठाएगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान विकास दर निराशाजनक है। यह अस्थाई गिरावट है, जिसके लिए आंशिक तौर पर वैश्विक तत्व जिम्मेदार हैं। हम आठ फीसदी विकास दर पर लौट सकते हैं। उन्होंने साथ ही कहा कि सरकार विकास को बढ़ावा देने के लिए निर्णायक और त्वरित कार्रवाई करेगी।
पी एम् ने कहा कि कारोबारी माहौल, जो वर्ष 2007 में असामान्य रूप से आशावादी था, आज अनावश्यक रूप से निराशावादी है। मैं भारतीय उद्योग जगत से अपील करूंगा कि हमारे संकल्प में विश्वास रखे और निराशा में न फंसे। मनमोहन सिंह ने कहा कि राजकोषीय घाटा बढ़ने से चालू खाते का घाटा बढ़ा है। अनुमान है कि वर्ष 2012-13 में यह जीडीपी के करीब पांच फीसदी तक रहेगा।
उन्होंने कहा कि रक्षा विभाग की मंजूरी की प्रतीक्षा में पेट्रोलियम क्षेत्र में 20 अरब डॉलर मूल्य का निवेश और 40 ब्लॉकों में तेल-गैस खोज का काम वर्षों से रुका हुआ था। इस समस्या को जल्द सुलझा लिया जाएगा
