[Puducherry] CM Of Puducherry V Narayanasamy Wins by poll Against AIADMK
Senior Congress leader and Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy today won the bypoll to the Nellithope Assembly constituency defeating AIADMK’s Om Sakthi Segar, by a margin of 11,144 votes.While Narayanasamy, whose victory was on expected lines, polled 18,709 votes out of the total 26,564 votes, Segar got 7,565 votes.
A John Kumar of the Congress had vacated the seat to enable Narayanasamy, who is not a member of the assembly, contest a by-election before December 6 deadline for getting elected to the House.
Narayanasamy was accorded a tumultuous reception by volunteers of Congress and DMK, its alliance partner in the assembly.
Speaking to reporters outside the counting centre, he said he was grateful to the workers and functionaries of the Congress and DMK and its President M Karunanidhi and its treasurer M K Stalin.
Congress cadres burst crackers at various places to celebrate the victory of Narayanasamy.
Congress has a strength of 15 while its ally DMK two in the 30-member Assembly.

नारायणसामी ने नई एलजी डॉ किरणबेदी के समक्ष सरकार बनाने का दावा पेश किया
[पुडुचेरी]पहली बार सीएम बनने जा रहे नारायणसामी ने नई उपराज्यपाल किरण बेदी के समक्ष सरकार बनाने का दावा पेश किया|डॉ बेदी ने मुलाकात के दौरान नारायणसामी को आज उनके जन्मदिन की बधाई भी दी। नारायणसामी को अब विधानसभा उपचुनाव चुनाव लड़ना होगा।
कांग्रेस के नेता वी नारायणसामी ने आज पुडुचेरी की उपराज्यपाल किरण बेदी से मुलाकात की और केंद्रशासित प्रदेश में सरकार बनाने का दावा औपचारिक तौर पर पेश किया।गौरतलब हे के डॉ किरण बेदी पहली बार उपराज्यपाल बनी है और बीते दिनों ही उन्होंने पद की शपथ ग्रहण की है |नारायणसामी भी पहली बार मुख्य मंत्री पद पर पहुंचे हैं|सीएम विधि स्नातक है जबकि उपराज्यपाल पीएचडी है |
नारायणसामी को शनिवार को 15 सदस्यीय कांग्रेस विधायक दल का नेता चुना गया था।
पार्टी के पास 30 सदस्यीय विधानसभा में द्रमुक [ DMK ]के दो सदस्यों का समर्थन भी है।
राजनिवास में डॉ बेदी से मुलाकात करने के बाद नारायणसामी ने कहा कि उन्होंने खुद को कांग्रेस विधायी दल का नेता चुने जाने पर उपराज्यपाल के समक्ष पत्र जमा करवाया और उनसे अनुरोध किया है कि वह उन्हें सरकार बनाने के लिए आमंत्रित करें।
उन्होंने कहा कि उन्होंने उपराज्यपाल को द्रमुक के समर्थन का पत्र भी सौंपा।
नारायणसामी ने कल द्रमुक अध्यक्ष एम करूणानिधि से चेन्नई में बात की थी और सरकार गठन के लिए पार्टी का समर्थन पत्र हासिल किया था।
कांग्रेस नेता के अनुसार वह पुडुचेरी के प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष नमशिवायम के साथ शाम को नयी दिल्ली जाएंगे और पार्टी अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी और उपाध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी से मुलाकात करेंगे।
नारायणसामी [६९] संप्रग सरकार के दूसरे शासनकाल में प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय में राज्य मंत्री रहे हैं। संप्रग के पहले शासनकाल में वह संसदीय मामलों के राज्य मंत्री थे। उन्होंने 16 मई को हुआ विधानसभा चुनाव नहीं लड़ा था और उन्हें अब विधानसभा उपचुनाव चुनाव लड़ना होगा।
नारायणसामी विधि स्नातक हैं और उन्होंने 10 साल से अधिक समय तक वकालत की। वर्ष 1985 में वह सक्रिय राजनीति में आए।
वह तीन बार राज्यसभा सदस्य रह चुके हैं

His party won 15 seats out of 17 seats and his alliance ADMK got 5 out of 10 seats.
