“AAP”To Broom Fresh Charges for Waste Collection,Calling It DMC.s Multi-Crore Scam

[New Delhi]Aam Aadmi Party[AAP] will Broom the proposed fresh charges for waste collection, Calling It DMC.s multi-crore scam.
AAP Has alleged that DMC has taken decision to impose fresh charges on Delhites for waste collection
The decision to invite a global tender in which bidders include foreign firms, is a highly suspect move and these three corporations, which have turned Delhi into a heap of garbage, will not be allowed to burden the taxpayers any further.
The national capital presents a sorry picture with lack of public toilets for women in market areas+ bad roads+clearly visible filth on roads+ miserable sanitation+sewage+ threat of outbreak of diseases like Dengue looming large in this time of the year once again.
Nearly 60% of the budget allocated to the Municipal Corporations of East+North+South Delhi Municipal Corporations for carrying out development work, remained unspent in the financial year 2013-14.
In case of South Delhi, the corporation’s budget was Rs 319 crore in 2012 and Rs 456 crore in 2013, for improving sanitation.
AAP questioned the amount spent ?
Similarly, Rs 45 crore was earmarked to combat diseases like Dengue and Malaria, Official records it could not even spend Rs 18 crore to check these diseases.
Situation is no better in East +North Delhi corporations, where the residents have been running from pillar to post to atleast get a clean living environment.
The AAP will expose how the BJP-controlled MCD has been cheating the people and is now planning to impose an unjustified financial burden.
