Deputy Registrar of the Cooperative Society Gurdaspur Bhupinder Singh and
Inspector Bhupinder Singh of the Cooperative Society Shahpur Jajan circle are suspended over the bribery allegations
As per Cooperation Minister, Punjab, S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.
Secretary of the Athwal Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society Mr. Heera Singh had leveled bribery allegations these officers and had even given an affidavit in this regard. Pursuant to this, the Deputy Registrar Bhupinder Singh was placed under suspension and his headquarter fixed at Headoffice whereas the services of Inspector Bhupinder Singh was also placed under suspension with office of the Joint Registrar Cooperative Societies, Jalandhar fixed as his headquarter. The minister further said that the Deputy Registrar Pathankot has been given the additional charge of Gurdaspur alongwith his current duty.
