[Chd,Haryana]Haryana Announces Rs 10 Cr Aid for Flood Hit Kerala
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said that the state government would provide financial assistance of Rs 10 crore to flood affected people and for rescue operations in Kerala.
He said that the people of Kerala had been facing heavy losses of life and property due to severe floods, and Haryana is with Kerala in this hour of need.
Punjab+Delhi+Andhra Pradesh+Maharashtra+Tamil Nadu
have already announced aid for flood-ravaged Kerala. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today announced an immediate financial assistance of Rs 500 crore to the state, after reviewing the flood situation there.
As many as 194 people have lost their lives and 36 are missing in Kerala since August 8 due to rains and landslides, while over 3.14 lakh people have been moved to relief camps.
The southern state is facing its worst flood in 100 years with 80 dams opened and all rivers in spate.

[Chd, Haryana]Anil Vij Declares Ban On Release of “Padmaavat” in Haryana
Manohar Lal Khattar government in Haryana has banned the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s controversial film ‘Padmaavat’ in the state,
Health Minister Anil Vij tweeted.
“Film Padmavati/Padmavat banned in Haryana”
Vij had earlier said that he would not allow screening of the movie in the state. He had alleged that Bhansali had wrongly presented historical facts in the movie to “defame” the image of ‘Rani Padmavati’ and this had hurt the sentiments of lakhs of people.
“Rani Padmavati is the symbol of Indian women’ pride. The character assassination of Padmavati will not be tolerated at any level,”
The film, mired in controversy over its plot line, had been given a go-ahead by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), which has asked the makers to change the title from ‘Padmavati’ to ‘Padmaavat’ and suggested some other modifications.
The film is set for release on January 25

PMO has asked for immediate report on facts and action taken regarding the incidents in Hisar And Nadia
Earlier The Home Ministry has also asked the Haryana government to send a report on desecration of an under-construction church in Hisar district and the action taken so far.
In a communication, the Ministry told the state government to send a comprehensive report about the incident, whether any group was involved in it and whether the suspects were arrested.

श्री खट्टर ने कहा “समाज में उन्होंने एक ऐसी क्रान्ति का बीज रोपा, जिसमें जाति का भेद और सम्प्रदायवाद, सब कुछ मिटा दिया। गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी को उनकी जयंती पर कोटि-कोटि नमन”
