JNU row: Rahul, Kejriwal, Yechury among 9 booked for sedition
Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi+Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal+CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury are among nine persons who have been booked on sedition charges in connection with the JNU row
An FIR has been registered against Rahul+Kejriwal+Yechury+Congress leaders Anand Sharma + Ajay Maken+CPI leader D Raja, +JD(U) Spokesperson KC Tyagi+JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar + JNU research scholar Umar Khalid on the order of a court based on a complaint filed by lawyer Janardhan Goud.
.The court has posted the matter for hearing on March 4.
In his petition, Goud said Rahul and other leaders, despite being aware that Delhi Police had registered a case against Kanhaiya on charge of sedition had visited JNU campus and knowingly supported them and hence it “amounted to sedition”.
.Goud had filed a complaint in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate on Thursday, seeking its direction to police for registration of a case against Kanhaiya and Khalid for allegedly raising anti-India and pro-Afzal Guru slogans on JNU campus and others.

भारत में देश विरोधी नारे लगाने वालों को देश भक्त करार देने के लिए संसद तक में विपक्ष का भौंडा प्रदर्शन हो रहा है |जेऐनयूं प्रकरण में कांग्रेस+लेफ्ट+और इनके सहयोगी दल लगातार सरकार को घेरने में जुटे दिखाई देते हैं|इस विषय पर चर्चा मांग कर स्थगन प्रस्ताव ला कर भी चर्चा से भागते दिखाई देते हैं तो दूसरी तरफ पाकिस्तान में पनप रहे आतंकवाद के नासूर पर नश्तर लगाने का काम किया जा रहा है |इसी कढ़ी में आतंकवादी गतिविधियों में शामिल मदरसों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुये पूरे पाकिस्तान में 254 संदिग्ध और अपंजीकृत [ Unregistered]मदरसों को बंद कर दिया है।
राज्यमंत्री बालिगुर रहमान द्वारा नेशनल असेंबली में बताया गया कि
सिंध में 167 संदिग्ध मदरसों,
खबर पख्तूनख्वा में 13,
पंजाब में दो और
सिंध में 72 गैर-पंजीकृत
मदरसों को बंद कर दिया गया है।

A Bihar court today ordered police to register a case against JNU Students Union president Kanhaiya Kumar and others for allegedly raising anti-national slogans at the premier educational institution.
Munger Chief Judicial Magistrate Anjana Lal gave the order to Kotwali police after hearing a complaint filed by advocate Ravi Shankar Roy.

The complaint was filed under IPC sections 120 B (punishment for criminal conspiracy), 121 (waging or attempting to wage war or abetting waging of war against Government of India), 121 A (conspiracy to commit offences punishable by section 121), 124 A (sedition), 153 A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language etc and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony) and 153 B (imputations, assertions prejudicial to national integration).
The complaint said that the news of Kanhaiya and others raising anti-national slogans injured national sentiment and created hatred in the minds and urged the court to take legal action against the accused.
