(Mumbai)The Kapil Sharma’s Life Story “Funkaar”on Big Screen

The Kapil Sharma’s life story is set to be told on the big screen with an upcoming biographical drama movie
Titled “Funkaar”, the film will be helmed by Fukrey fame director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Mahaveer Jain will produce the movie under the banner Lyca Productions.
“Looking forward to bringing to the audience the story of India’s most beloved Funkaar. Kapil Sharma,” Lamba said in a statement.
Jain, who earlier backed Rajinikanth’s “2.0” as well as upcoming films like Akshay Kumar-starrer “Ram Setu”, said the team is excited to present Sharma’s life story to the world.
“Billions of people get their daily dose of dopamine, courtesy Kapil Sharma. We all need love, life and laughter. We are proud to present comedy super star Kapil Sharma’s untold story on the big screen, in a big way,” he said.
Sharma, who hails from Amritsar, rose to fame after winning the comedy reality television show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007.
The 40-year-old comedian continued performing acts for reality shows till he launched his own show “Comedy Nights with Kapil”, under his banner K9 Productions in 2013, that propelled him to further popularity.
Sharma currently hosts “The Kapil Sharma Show . He also forayed into film acting with Abbas Mustan-directed comedy “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon” in 2015 and later starred in historical-drama “Firangi”.
He is awaiting the release of his debut comedy special “Kapil Sharma: I’m Not Done Yet”, which will premiere on Netflix on January 28.

Popular comic and TV show host Kapil Sharma is heading to Netflix for his digital debut.As per Comedy King this project is close to his heart, He said “I cannot wait to share more details with my fans soon. it will premiere on the streamer in 2021 across 190 countries.
He said “I always wanted to be on Netflix but I didn’t have their number,” he quipped.

[Mumbai]Kapil Sharma Sends Defamation Notice@Rs 100 Cr to Journalist
Famous Standing comedy king Kapil Sharma has sent a legal notice to a digital portal and a journalist working in it, seeking a public apology and Rs 100 crore in damages for allegedly publishing defamatory articles against him,
Sharma’s advocate Tanveer Nizam said in a statement.that Vicky Lalwani, working with 9X Media Pvt. Ltd, allegedly published “false, malicious, fraudulent articles” on the digital platform Spotboye.
It claimed damages “to the tune of Rs One Hundred Crore to be deposited in National Defence Fund”.
Sharma has also demanded that the journalist tender an “unconditional public apology” within seven days of receiving the notice.
The notice claims that Sharma’s “hard-earned” reputation has suffered grave and irreparable damage.
Sharma had recently criticised Lalwani in a series of tweets after which the journalist had released a expletive-laden telephonic conversation between him and the comedian

[Mumbai]Comedian Kapil Sharma Booked For Violating Environment Act
An FIR was today registered by Versova police against popular stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma for alleged violation of the Environment Act.Mumbai suburban District Collector Deependra Singh Kushwah had directed officials to conduct a survey to find if Sharma violated the Act by dumping debris near the mangroves.
After the survey, the Andheri talathi filed a police complaint.
Sharma allegedly dumped the debris near mangroves behind his bungalow in suburban Versova and also undertook illegal construction near it,
Sharma had kicked up a controversy earlier this month by alleging that he had been asked to pay a bribe of Rs 5 lakh by an official of BMC which, in turn, claimed that the actor had flouted norms not only in his Versova office building but also at his apartment in suburban Goregaon.
He had also tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a tweet posted on September 9.

Actors Riteish Deshmukh+Arshad Warsi+Arjun Kapoor + director Sajid Khan may get into Kapil Sharma’s shoes for his popular show “Comedy Nights With Kapil” if the stand-up comedian does not recover soon from slip disc.Kapil, who suffered the injury while working out, is most likely to remain out of action for a couple of weeks.
The makers of the show have approached some Bollywood stars to individually host the next few episodes.
The other family members from the show will continue to be part of it
Kapil has already shot his last episode with Salman Khan who appeared on the show to promote his upcoming movie “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”.
