(Srinagar,J&K)Junior Abdullah Also Released after 8 Months of Detention
Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister & Son of Ex CM Farooq Abdullah , Omar Abdullah was released on Tuesday after nearly eight months of detention.
Abdullah, who turned 50 on March 10, had spent 232 days in custody since the government announced abrogation of the special status of the erstwhile state on August 5 last year.
The National Conference leader was initially detained under preventive custody and later slapped with the PSA on February 5.

National Conference (NC) working president Omar Abdullah today claimed an “unprecedented and acute” crisis in the delivery of basic governance in Jammu and Kashmir was affecting daily life in the state.
Abdullah alleged there was a severe power crisis in the Kashmir Valley but the government was not showing urgency to address the issue.
Ex CM Omar Abdullah said at the NC monthly provincial committee meeting that Apeals from civil society are falling on deaf ears,”
The valley was reeling under a crisis in the supply of ration and other commodities for the last few months and the administration had failed to address it,

पूरे देश में आज [ गुरुवार को] बड़े हर्षोल्लास के साथ 67वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाया जा रहा है।भुज के लालन कॉलेज से लेकर दिल्ली के लाल किले तक राजनीतिक आतिश बाजी भी हुई | पूरे देश में स्कूल, कॉलेज और ऑफिस में हर्षोल्लास का माहौल है । सड़कों पर आजादी के तराने गाए जा रहे हैं। मिठाईयां बांटी जा रही हैं। बच्चे, बूढ़े व जवान सबके हाथों में तिरंगा दिख रहा है। हर जगह उमंग और उल्लास का माहौल है। राज्य के मुख्यमंत्रियों ने भी राजधानी में गर्व से तिरंगा झंडा फहराया। छत्तीसगढ़ और गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्रियों ने भी अपने अपने राज्यों के राजधानी में तिरंगा झंडा फहराया और राज्य की जनता को स्वतंत्रता दिवस की शुभकामनाएं दी।लाल किले से पी एम् ने जहाँ लग भग आधे घंटे में अपनी सरकार के दस साल का रिपोर्ट कार्ड प्रस्तुत किया तो वही नरेन्द्र मोदी ने भुज के लालन कॉलेज से पीएम के भाषण की धज्जियां उड़ाने के लिए लग भग एक घंटे का समय लिया
.प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने भाषण में यूपीए की उपलब्धियां गिनाई और कहा कि अभी कुछ ही फासला तय किया है पर मंजिल बहुत दूर है. वहीं, मोदी का स्वतंत्रता दिवस संबोधन पूरी तरह से राजनीतिक था. जिसमें भ्रष्टाचार, गरीबी और महंगाई जैसे मुद्दों को लेकर पीएम और कांग्रेस पार्टी पर सीधा हमला बोला गया.
बी बी सी के जुबैर के अनुसार पीएम के भाषण में एक जिम्मेदार पद पर बैठे शख्स की झलक थी तो मोदी के भाषण में भावी पीएम की ललक थी|
|कश्मीर के मुख्य मंत्री ओमर अब्दुल्लाह ने किश्तवाड़ की सांप्रदायिक हिंसा पर लगातार आलोचना झेलने से दुखी होकर सवाल दागा कि आखिर कश्मीरियों के साथ अलग व्यवहार क्यों किया जाता है। उमर ने कहा कि हमारे साथ ऐसा बर्ताव किया जाता है कि जैसे कि हम भारत की मुख्यधारा का हिस्सा ही न हों।
गुजरात के मुख्य मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भुज के लालन कॉलेज से देश को संबोधित करते हुए बहस के लिए प्रधानमंत्री डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह को ही खुली चुनौती दे डाली।उन्होंने पी एम् से कहा कि आप तो देश चला रहे हैं। लेकिन गुजरात और दिल्ली की रेस हो जाए, पता चल जाएगा कि आप क्या कर रहे हैं, हम क्या कर रहे हैं? मोदी ने कहा, ‘मैं प्रधानमंत्री को सभी अहम मुद्दों पर बहस की चुनौती देता हूं।’
भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता लाल कृष्ण आडवाणी ने मोदी के पीएम मनमोहन सिंह की आलोचना पर उन्हें नसीहत दे डाली। उन्होंने कहा कि स्वतंत्रता दिवस के मौके पर किसी राजनेता को दूसरों की बुराई नहीं करनी चाहिए।
भाजपा से छिटके बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने पटना के गांधी मैदान से ही नरेंद्र मोदी को गुजरात के औद्योगिक विकास के मॉडल पर घेरा। उन्होंने अपने इनक्लूजिव ग्रोथ मॉडल को मोदी के विकास के मॉडल से बेहतर बताया और कहा कि उनका मॉडल सभी लोगों की जरूरतों को पूरा करता है।
कांग्रेस के नेता और विदेश मंत्री सलमान खुर्शीद ने ,आदतन ,मोदी को ‘खलनायक’ बताने में देर नही लगाई ।
सीनियर कांग्रेस नेता और केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री गुलाम नबी आजाद ने मोदी पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा है कि हर आदमी अपने घर में शेर होता है।
