जनरल परवेज मुशर्रफ का दुबई में इंतेकाल
कारगिल युद्ध झोंकने वाले जनरल परवेज मुशर्रफ का दुबई में इंतेकाल पाकिस्तान के पूर्व सैन्य शासक जनरल (सेवानिवृत्त) परवेज मुशर्रफ का लंबी बीमारी के बाद रविवार को दुबई में निधन हो गया। 79 वर्षीय मुशर्रफ एमिलॉयडोसिस से पीड़ित थे, उनके परिवार के अनुसार, पूरे शरीर में अंगों और ऊतकों में एमाइलॉयड नामक एक असामान्य प्रोटीन के निर्माण के कारण होने वाली एक दुर्लभ बीमारी थी। जियो न्यूज ने उनके परिवार के हवाले से बताया कि जनरल (रिटायर्ड) मुशर्रफ का दुबई के एक अस्पताल में निधन हो गया।

The Director Generals of Military Operations of India and Pakistan held discussions over the established mechanism of hotline contact. The two sides reviewed the situation along the Line of Control and all other sectors in a free, frank and cordial atmosphere.
In the interest of achieving mutually beneficial and sustainable peace along the borders, the two DGsMO agreed to address each other’s core issues and concerns which have propensity to disturb peace and lead to violence.Both sides agreed for strict observance of all agreements, understandings and cease firing along the Line of Control and all other sectors with effect from midnight 24/25 Feb 2021.
Both sides reiterated that existing mechanisms of hotline contact and border flag meetings will be utilised to resolve any unforeseen situation or misunderstanding.

Prime Minister Of Pakistan Imran Khan has decided to roll back the prices of naan and roti across Pakistan
Pakistan is facing a serious economic crisis with short supplies of foreign currency reserves and stagnating growth. The International Monetrary Fund this month approved a USD 6 billion loan over a period of three years for Pakistan to allow the country to return to sustainable growth and improve the living standards of the people.
As Pakistan has initiated steps to implement tough economic reforms, the prices of petrol, gas and other essential food items have increased, hitting the common man.
Currently, naan is selling at Rs 12 to Rs 15 in different cities of Pakistan. However, before an increase in the gas tariff and rates of wheat flour, naan price ranged between Rs 8 and Rs 10. Similarly, roti is available at Rs 10 to Rs 12

भारत की विदेश मंत्री श्रीमती सुषमा स्वराज पाकिस्तान की उपेक्षा करते हुए दक्षेस देशों के विदेश मंत्रियों की बैठक बीच में ही छोड़ कर चली गईं। बैठक में पाकिस्तान के विदेश मंत्री शाह महमूद कुरैशी भी आए थे।
विदेश मंत्री अपना बयान देने के बाद बैठक से जल्दी चली गई। इसके बाद कुरैशी ने उनकी आलोचना करते हुए पत्रकारों से कहा, ‘‘नहीं, मेरी उनसे (स्वराज) कोई बात नहीं हुई। सकारात्मक तौर पर मैं कह सकता हूं कि वह बैठक के बीच से ही चली गयीं, शायद उनकी तबीयत ठीक नहीं रही होगी।’’
अफगानिस्तान और बांग्लादेश के विदेश मंत्री भी चले गए थे।

[New Delhi]PM Now To Review Most Favored Nation Status to Pak
After Indus Water Treaty, India will review the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status given to Pakistan at a meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Thursday.
The decisions to review the MFN, which was granted by India unilaterally in 1996, comes in the wake of the Uri attack over which India is weighing options to respond.
The MFN status was accorded in 1996 under WTO’s General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT).
Both India and Pakistan are signatories to this which means they have to treat each other and rest of WTO member countries as favoured trading partners.
According to Assocham, out of India’s total merchandise trade of USD 641 billion in 2015-16, Pakistan accounted for a meagre USD 2.67 billion.
India’s exports to the neighbouring country worked out to USD 2.17 billion, or 0.83 per cent, of the total Indian outward shipments while imports were less than USD 500 million, or 0.13 per cent, of the total inward shipments.
The Prime Minister yesterday chaired a review meeting of 56-year-old Indus Water Treaty during which it was decided that India will “exploit to the maximum” the water of Pakistan-controlled rivers, including Jhelum, as per the water sharing pact.

अपने बयानों के लिये अक्सर सुखिर्यों में रहने वाले उत्तर प्रदेश के वरिष्ठ काबीना मंत्री मोहम्मद आजम खां ने तंज कसते हुए कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी अपनी पाकिस्तान यात्रा से लौटते वक्त हिन्दुस्तान में वांछित आतंकवादियों को भी पकड़ लाएं, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे कि उनकी पार्टी की पिछली सरकार ने कंधार में दहशतगर्दो को उनके साथियों के सुपुर्द किया था।
कल रात एक इफ्तार पार्टी में शिरकत के दौरान उन्होंने कहा ‘‘जिस तरह दिसम्बर 1999 में अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी सरकार के मंत्रियों ने आतंकवादियों को कंधार ले जाकर उन्हें उनके साथियों के सुपुर्द किया था, उसी तरह हमारे प्रधानमंत्री जी को चाहिये कि वह लौटते वक्त पाकिस्तान से देशद्रोही आतंकवादियों को हथकड़ी लगवाकर अपने ही विमान से वापस ले आयें।’’
