The Government of India announces with profound sorrow the death of ShriPranab Mukherjee, former President of India at Army Research & Referral Hospital, New Delhi on 31stAugust, 2020.
As a mark of respect to the departed dignitary, seven days State Mourning will be observed throughout India from 31.08.2020 to 06.09.2020, both days inclusive. During the period of State Mourning the National Flag will fly at halfmaston all buildings throughout India, where it is flown regularly and there will be no official entertainment.

[Dehradun,UK]President Of India Pays Obeisance at Kedarnath Shrine
President Of India Pranab Mukherjee today paid obeisance at the Kedarnath shrine in Uttarakhand on the second day of his three-day visit to the hill state.
The President spent about an hour and took stock of the reconstruction work carried out at Kedarnath which bore the brunt of the June 2013 calamity.
It was the President’s first visit to the centuries-old shrine after assuming office.
Two of his proposed visits to the temple in the past were cancelled due to bad weather conditions.
The Governor, the Chief Minister and Mandir Samiti officials showed the President around to give him an idea of the reconstruction work carried out at the temple and nearby areas.

The President of India, Pranab Mukherjee has sent his good wishes to the Indian contingent in the Rio Olympic Games 2016 on the eve of the opening ceremony of the Rio Olympic Games.
In a message to Rakesh Gupta, Chef-de-Mission, Indian Contingent for the Rio Olympic Games 2016, the President has said,
“I convey my greetings and good wishes to the Indian contingent on the eve of the opening ceremony of the Rio Olympics 2016.
I am sure the Games will be an opportunity for our sports persons to display their talents and test their limits in various sporting disciplines.
These Games will be an opportunity for competing with participants from all over the world in the best traditions of sportsmanship. I urge our sports persons to do their best for the glory of the nation and to promote unity and friendship with sports persons of all participating nations”.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi Today Met The President Pranab Mukherjee And Slammed Govt
Hitting out at the government, Rahul Gandhi today said the JNU row and the violence in Patiala House court are a “blot” on India’s image and asserted that nationalism runs in his blood, a rebuke to BJP for its “anti-national” jibe at him.
Taking the battle against the Centre to President Pranab Mukhejree, the Congress vice president said RSS was trying to impose its “flawed” and “dead” ideology on the students of the country but his party will not allow it.
Speaking to the media after submitting a memorandum to the President, he also referred to the suicide by Dalit scholar Rohith Vemula in Hyderabad and accused the Hindutva organisation of “crushing” him.
“It is not the government’s job to destroy institutions, Bad signals have been sent out in India and abroad.
Accused by BJP chief Amit Shah of “supporting traitors” Gandhi hit back saying, “Nationalism is in my blood. I have seen my family making sacrifices again and again for this country.

As per President Secretariat The Mughal Gardens will remain open for general public from February 12 to March 19, 2016 (except on Mondays which are maintenance days) between 0930 hrs to 1600 hrs.
Public will also be able to visit the Spiritual Garden+Herbal Garden+Bonsai Garden+ Musical Garden

[नई दिल्ली]स्टिंग टेप को भाजपा के खिलाफ बेकार जाता देख”आप”ने उपराज्यपाल को पार्टी बनायास्टिंग टेप को बेकार जाता देख “आप” पार्टी ने अब दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल को पार्टी बनाया |आम आदमी पार्टी[आप]ने आज उपराज्यपाल नजीब जंग द्वारा पांच दिन पूर्व राष्ट्रपति को लिखे पत्र को सर्कुलेट किया है |बीते दिन भाजपा पार्टी के दिल्ली उपाध्यक्ष के खिलाफ हॉर्स ट्रेडिंग का आरोप लगाते हुए एकटेप जारी किया गया लेकिन भाजपा ने तत्काल इस पर प्रतिक्रिया देकर टेप को डॉक्टर्ड करार दे दिया |योजना के अनुसार”आप “पार्टी ने आज दिल्ली में सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में वोही टेप सबमिट करने की आज्ञा माँगी जिसे न्यायलय ने स्वीकार करने से मना कर दिया|उसके पश्चात आप पार्टी ने एल जी का यह पत्र सर्कुलेट किया है |
इस पत्र के माध्यम से एल जी नजीब जंग पर आरोप लगाया गया है कि श्री नजीब दिल्ली राज्य में भाजपा की सरकार बनवाना चाहते हैंइसीलिए एल जी ने भाजपा को आमंत्रित करने के लिए राष्ट्रपति से आज्ञा मांगी है| “आप” का आरोप है कि भाजपा ने १२ दिसंबर को लिखित में सरकार बनाने के लिए इंकार कर दिया था इस तथ्य को एल जी के पत्र में दर्शाया नहीं गया है| इसी के आधार पर भाजपा के हॉर्स ट्रेडिंग के माध्यम से सरकार बनाने में सहयोग देने के लिए एल जी पर आरोप लगाया गया है
