.Taliban militants launched an assault on the Afghan parliament today, triggering gunfire and explosions and sending lawmakers scurrying for cover in chaotic scenes relayed live on television.
The attack came as the Afghan president’s nominee for the crucial post of defence minister was to be introduced in parliament and ended two hours later when all seven attackers, including a suicide car bomber, were dead.
The assault on such a high-profile target in downtown Kabul raises fresh questions about security as Afghan forces battle a resurgent Taliban for the first time without the aid of NATO forces, who ended their combat mission in December.
The Taliban launched a countrywide offensive in late April, stepping up attacks on government and foreign targets in what is expected to be the bloodiest fighting season in a decade.
The militants recently rebuffed requests from senior Afghan clerics to halt attacks during the fasting month of Ramadan even as a surge in violence has sent civilian casualties soaring.
A group of suicide attackers last tried to storm parliament in 2012 as they launched coordinated attacks in several parts of the capital, including several diplomatic enclaves.
.The Taliban, toppled from power in the 2001 US invasion of Afghanistan, swiftly claimed responsibility for the latest attack.
Zabihullah Mujahid tweeted “Several mujahideen have entered the parliament building,”
“The attack happened at a time when the defence minister was being introduced.” Police denied that Taliban fighters had breached the high-security complex.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on telephone to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh+Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan and Afgan President Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai
He conveyed the good wishes for the holy month of Ramadan to them and their people. He expressed hope for peace, tranquility and harmony in their countries and in the region during this month of piety and prayers.
He thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for his successful visit to Bangladesh and the extraordinary hospitality, friendship and goodwill that he received from the people and government of Bangladesh.
He expressed confidence that the visit has set the stage for a new era in bilateral cooperation and regional partnership between the two countries.
He reiterated to Prime Minister Sharif his message of peaceful, friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.

[१]चलो पहले आप की जांच की जाँच कर ली जाये |आप ने जाँच बैठाई है यह सर मत्थे है लेकिन जाँच की रिपोर्ट के आने से पहले ही जांच बैठाने वाले प्रदेश खनन मंत्री ने अवैध खनन के अस्तित्व को ही नकार दिया है| अधिकारी के निलंबन को जायज ठहरा दिया है|आप समझ रहे हैं न मेरी बात ?
[२]दूसरे आप कह रहे हैं के रेत खनन माफिया का कोई दबाब नही है उधर मुख्य आरोपी आपके कद्दावर मंत्री भाटी जी सीना ठोक कर दावा करते फिर रहे हैं के मात्र ४१ मिनट में एस डी एम् दुर्गा शक्ति नागपाल के सस्पेंशन आर्डर अधिकारियों को सर्व करा दिए |इस दावे का समर्थन हरदोई नरेश अग्रावल करते फिर रहे हैं
[३] भैय्या जी आप मस्जिद गिराने का आरोप लगा रहे हो तो ये बताओ के अगर मस्जिद की दीवार गिराई गई तो[अ] वोह डी एम् के निर्देश पर गिराई गई[आ] सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेशों का पालन करने के लिए गिराई गई|[इ] गावं वालों ने खुद ही दीवार गिराई|इसके बावजूद भी आप ये मानते हो के इससे आपके वोट बैंक को धक्का लग सकता है या फिर आप इस मुद्दे को रंग देकर सियासी लाभ ले सकते हो तो आपने गिरी हुई दीवार को बनवाया क्यूं नही|आप केवल इसका इस्तेमाल ही करने में जुटे हुए हो| मेरी बात पहुँच रही है के नही???
[४]आप अब कह रहे हो के कांग्रेस अशोक खेमका के समर्थन में क्यूं नही आरही शाद आप का इशारा रॉबर्ट वढेरा की तरफ है तो आप ये मान रहे हो के आप भी अपने किसी न किसी राजनीतिक दामाद को बचाने के लिए जुगाड़ लगा रहे हो????
अगर ऐसा है तो बेहद खतरनाक है | जिस तरह से आपकी समाजवादी पार्टी ने असामजवादी ढंग से एक ईमानदार महिला अधिकारी के विरुद्ध धार्मिक उन्माद की चिंगारी सुलगाई है और चारों तरफ से मंत्री और संतरी उसे हवा दे रहे है वोह देश के लिए बेहद घातक है |अगर इस ईमानदार महिला अधिकारी की आहों में दम है तो संसद के मानसून सत्र में उसकी सिसकियाँ जरूर गूंजेंगी |और मत भूलो के मारी हुई खाल की सांस से भी लोहा भस्म हो जाता है |

भाजपा ने भी रमजान के पवित्र महीने में ,बिजली आपूर्ति की मांग उठा कर ,सर्व धर्म समभाव की विचारधारा में छलांग लगा दी है|मेरठ में भाजपा के अल्प संख्यक मोर्चे के जिलाध्यक्ष कुंवर बासित अली ने पश्चिमांचल विद्युत विभाग के प्रबंध निदेशक को एक पत्र लिख कर कहा है कि रमजान के पवित्र माह में जनपद मेरठ में बिजली की व्यवस्था सुचारू रूप से की जाए जिससे रोजेदारों को सहरी और रोजा इफ्तारी के समय सही बिजली आपूर्ति मिलती रहे|
