Vadra, is brother-in-law of Congress president Rahul Gandhi and husband of AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi
While Vadra was quizzed for about five-and-a-half hours on Thursday, he was grilled for about 9 hours the next day.
Vadra has denied the allegations against him.
The ED case against Vadra relates to allegations of money laundering in the purchase of a London-based property located at 12, Bryanston Square worth 1.9 million GBP (British pounds), which is allegedly owned by him.
The agency has told a Delhi court that it has received information about various new properties in London which belong to Vadra. These include two houses, one worth 5 million GBP and the other valued at 4 million GBP, six other flats and more properties.
Vadra has denied the allegations of possessing illegal foreign assets and termed them a political witch hunt against him. He said he was being “hounded and harassed” to subserve political ends.
He is also expected to depose before the ED on February 12 in Jaipur in an another money-laundering case related to an alleged land scam in Bikaner. The Rajasthan High Court has directed him to cooperate with the agency in the case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has begun questioning Manoj Arora, a close aide of Robert Wadhera in connection with a money laundering probe against Congress leader Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law.
Arora is an employee of Robert’s firm Skylight Hospitality LLP and he is being probed on allegations of money laundering in purchase of London-based property 12, Bryanston Square, worth 1.9 million pounds
Arora had earlier told the court that he is being embroiled in the case due to “political vendetta” of the government.
Officials said he may be questioned a few more times.
It said the London-based property was bought by Bhandari for GBP 1.9 million and sold in 2010 for the same amount despite incurring additional expenses of approximately GBP 65,900 on its renovation.

Robert Wadhera whose land deals are being probed in BJP-ruled Haryana and Rajasthan, today said that he was being subjected to a “political witch-hunt” and used as a “political tool”.
Son-in-law of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, the controversial businessman said a distinction should be made between him as an individual conducting business like anyone else and the politics of the family of his wife Priyanka Gandhi Vadra “without constantly attempting to link the two”.
Alleging that there was a “sustained political attack” on him, 46-year-old Robert claimed that BJP was using attacks on him as a “political tool whenever they need to divert public attention”.
He said he has always conducted business transparently in accordance with the law but he was being “singled out” and “lies” were spread which made it difficult for him at times to come to terms with the “way I have been portrayed”.
On the inquiry being undertaken against his business deals in Haryana and Rajasthan besides the Enforcement Directorate sending a notice to his company, he said, “There is a clear-cut political witch-hunt…. The more they hound me, the more apparent it is becoming that they are using their attacks on me as a political tool whenever they need to divert public attention.”
On the probe in Haryana where the one-man Justice S N Dhingra Commission is looking into grant of land licences to some companies including that of Vadra’s in four villages of Gurgaon, Vadra said he had not received any notices so far but has read the media reports in this regard.
The BJP government in Haryana had in May set up the Dhingra Commission to probe alleged irregularities in grant of licences by the Department of Town and Country Planning to some companies, including that of Vadra, in Sector 83 of Gurgaon for developing commercial colonies during the previous Congress government of Bhupinder Singh Hooda

In a veiled attack on the corruption during UPA regime and a barb at the Congress President’s son-in-law Robert Vadra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today deprecated the culture of graft in the country and said he has provided graft-free governance.
He said corruption during the previous government’s time had triggered anger among people.
“In our country it doesn’t take much for allegations to come up against politicians… Someone made 50 crores, someone’s son made 250 crores, (someone’s) daughter made 500 crores, (someone’s) damaad (son-in-law) made 1000 crores…” he said addressing the Indian community at the packed SAP Centre in San Jose, California.
Switching on to a question answer mode, he asked the audience “Is the country not disappointed?”
The people replied “yes”.
“Is there not anger against corruption,” he asked.
“Yes,” people shouted.
Modi then asked, “I am standing before you. Tell me if there is any allegation against me.”
“No,” people shouted. He then told the crowd that he is giving every minute of his life in the service of the nation and he would live and die for the country.
While Modi’s reference to sons and daughters of politicians being corrupt is seen as a reference to culture of corruption in the country, the reference to son-in-law is seen as a barb at alleged land deals entered into by Vadra with the some state governments.

संसद के दोनों सदनों में कांग्रेस अध्यक्षा श्रीमति सोनिया गांधी के दामाद राबर्ट वढेरा के कथित संदिग्ध भूमि सौदों और किश्तवार में हुई हिंसा को लेकर आज जम कर हंगामा हुआ|कांग्रेस सांसदों के विरोध के बीच लोक सभा की अध्यक्षा मीरा कुमार ने कार्यवाही स्थगित की तो राज्यसभा में सभापति उपराष्ट्रपति हामिद अंसारी ने वढेरा मामले पर चर्चा करवाने से इनकार कर दिया.उन्होंने नाराजगी भी ज़ाहिर करते हुए कहा कि राज्यसभा में किसी कानून पर अमल नहीं हो रहा, हर कानून को तोड़ा जा रहा है और सदन ‘अराजक तत्वों का संघ’ हो गया है|.
इस टिप्पणी के बाद भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने मांग की है कि राज्यसभा के सभापति हामिद अंसारी का सदन के संबंध में ‘अराजकतावादियों का संघ’ बयान वापस लिया जाए.उधर श्रीमती सुषमा स्वराज ने संसदीय कार्य मंत्री कमल नाथ को टारगेट करते हुए कहा कि कमल नाथ जी इस प्रकार गुस्सा करने से सदन की कार्यवाही नही चलेगी| सदनों की कार्यवाही कई बार स्थगित की गई |
संसद के दोनों सदनों में भाजपा से श्री मति सुषमा स्वराज और यशवंत सिन्हा ने रॉबर्ट वढेरा के कथित भूमि सौदों के मामले पर सरकार की तीखी आलोचना की और कांग्रेस से सफ़ाई मांगी.| यशवंत सिन्हा ने बिना नाम लिए कहा कि देश के एक रसूखदार व्यक्ति ने मुनाफा कमाने का अनोखा मॉडल पेश किया है।
उन्होंने कहा, “सिर्फ़ 44 वर्ष की आयु में बड़ी पहुँच रखने वाले एक व्यक्ति हैं जिन्हें सैंकड़ों करोड़ रूपए कमाने की कला बिना किसी बिज़नेस स्कूल में गए हुए या निवेश किए ही आती है.” किश्तवाड़ में हुई हिंसा पर भी सांसदों ने विरोध प्रकट किया.|इस बयान के तत्काल पश्चात सदन में हंगामा मच गया और कांग्रेस सांसदों के विरोध के बीच सदन की अध्यक्ष मीरा कुमार ने कार्यवाही स्थगित कर दी |
भाषा के अनुसार हरियाणा राज्य के आईएएस अधिकारी अशोक खेमका ने राज्य सरकार को एक रिपोर्ट सौंपी है जिसमे कथित रूप से प्रदेश सरकार और रॉबर्ट वढेरा पर ज़मीन की खरीद फरोख़्त मामले में सांठ-गाँठ का आरोप है.|राबर्ट वढेरा मुरादाबाद के एक ओद्यौगिक परिवार से हैं और प्रियंका गाँधी के पति हैं|कांग्रेस ने यह कहते इसे सिरे से ही ख़ारिज कर दिया कि यह राज्य से जुड़ा मामला है लेकिन भाजपा ने इसे राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंक के साथ गंभीर धोखाधड़ी का मामला भी बताया भाजपा संसदीय दल की बैठक के बाद राज्यसभा में पार्टी के उप-नेता रविशंकर प्रसाद ने संसद भवन परिसर में संवाददाताओं से बातचीत में कांग्रेस की इस दलील को अस्वीकार कर दिया कि यह राज्य :हरियाणा: से जुड़ा मामला है।

हरियाणा के पीड़ित और चर्चित आई ऐ एस अधिकारी अशोक खेमका ने सत्ता रुड यूं पी ऐ अध्यक्षा श्री मति सोनिया गाँधी के दामाद राबर्ट वढेरा पर लगाये अपने आरोप को दोहराते हुए अपना जवाब हरियाणा सरकार की तरफ से गठित एक समिति को सौंप दिया है। १०० पेजों के इस जवाब में खेमका ने दोहराया है कि
रॉबर्ट वाड्रा और रियल स्टेट कंपनी डीएलएफ के बीच गुड़गांव के शिखोहपुर गांव में फर्जी दस्तावेजों के जरिए 3.53 एकड़ की जमीन का सौदा हुआ था।इससे राजनीती फिर से गरमा गई है|
२१ साल कि नौकरी में तबादलों के ४० दंश झेल चुके श्री खेमका के अनुसार श्री वढेरा ने गुड़गांव में 3.53 एकड़ जमीन के लिए दस्तावेजों में हेरफेर की और एक कमर्शियल कॉलोनी के लाइसेंस पर भारी-भरकम राशि जेब में रखी. खेमका ने कहा कि जमीन के सौदे के म्यूटेशन को रद्द किए जाने वाले उनके फैसले पर तुरंत अमल होना चाहिए। यदि इस मामले में कोई पक्ष असंतुष्ट हो तो वह कोर्ट का रुख कर सकता है।

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा कि उनकी सरकार ने किसी पक्ष की कोई तरफदारी नहीं की.|मुख्य सचिव (पी के चौधरी) मामले को देख रहे हैं और वह इसका अध्ययन कर रहे हैं.|
यूं पी में दुर्गा शक्ति नागपाल का उत्पीडन कर रहे सपा के सांसद नरेश अग्रवाल ने जमीन घोटाले का खुलासा करने वाले आईएएस अधिकारी अशोक खेमका पर ही हमला बोला है.उन्होंने तो खेमका की रिपोर्ट को ही , मानाने से इंकार करके खारिज ख़ारिज कर दिया|
हरियाणा में मुख्य विपक्षी इंडियन नेशनल लोकदल[ INLD ] के महासचिव अभय चौटाला ने हरियाणा की कांग्रेस सरकार को आड़े हाथों लेते हुए मुख्यमंत्रीके इस्तीफे के साथ मामले में एफआईआर दर्ज करने की भी मांग भी की है
भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता मुख्तार अब्बास नकवी ने इस पूरे मामले की नए सिरे से जांच और दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की.
साध्वी उमा भारती ने कहा कि बिना जांच किए ही रॉबर्ट वॉड्रा को पीएमओ से क्लीन चिट दे दी गई. इससे पता चलता है कि सरकार रॉबर्ट वॉड्रा को बचाने के लिए कुछ भी कर सकती है.
. कांग्रेस नेता और पूर्व रेलमंत्री पवन बंसल ने कहा कि रॉबर्ट वॉड्रा पर लगे आरोप सरासर गलत हैं और ये पूरा मामला राजनीति से प्रेरित है.
कांग्रेस नेता संजय झा ने कहा कि घोटाले का आरोप लगाने वाले आईएएस अधिकारी अशोक खेमका को कोर्ट जाना चाहिए.
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार खेमका ने राबर्ट वढेरा की जमीन के सौदे के मामले में हरियाणा सरकार को सौंपी गई अपनी रिपोर्ट में कहा है कि राबर्ट वाड्रा ने गुडगांव में गलत दस्तावेजों के जरिए जमीन का सौदा किया। यह मामला गुड़गांव के शिकोहपुर में साढ़े तीन एकड़ जमीन का है। यह वही जमीन है जिसके सौदे की जांच करने के बाद आईएएस खेमका ने जमीन की रजिस्ट्री को ही रद्द कर दिया था।
वढेरा और डीएलएफ के बीच डील में हुई कथित धांधली के आरोप लगने के बाद हरियाणा सरकार ने अक्टूबर 2012 में जांच समिति गठित की थी। इस समिति ने खेमका से सौदा रद्द कर पर जवाब मांगा था। मई 2013 को खेमका ने जवाब के तौर पर अपनी 100 पेज की रिपोर्ट समिति को सौंपी।
रिपोर्ट सौंपने के तीन महीने के बाद भी इस पर कोई फैसला नहीं लिया गया है।

अगर ऐसा है तो बेहद खतरनाक है | जिस तरह से आपकी समाजवादी पार्टी ने असामजवादी ढंग से एक ईमानदार महिला अधिकारी के विरुद्ध धार्मिक उन्माद की चिंगारी सुलगाई है और चारों तरफ से मंत्री और संतरी उसे हवा दे रहे है वोह देश के लिए बेहद घातक है |अगर इस ईमानदार महिला अधिकारी की आहों में दम है तो संसद के मानसून सत्र में उसकी सिसकियाँ जरूर गूंजेंगी |और मत भूलो के मारी हुई खाल की सांस से भी लोहा भस्म हो जाता है |
