The long-term capital gains tax on equities and and 10 per cent tax on distributed income from equity-oriented mutual funds hit sentiments.
Market mood suffered another setback after Fitch Ratings today said high debt burden of the government constrains India’s rating upgrade.
The flagship Sensex nosedived by 766.09 points to quote at 35,080 points in pre-close session with all the sectoral indices trading in the negative zone.
The 50-share NSE Nifty slumped 238.40 points, or 2.16 per cent to 10,778.50 points at 1500 hours.
Investors will have to pay 10 per cent tax on distributed income from equity-oriented mutual funds, as per the Budget proposals announced yesterday.
While unveiling the Budget proposals for 2018-19, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley introduced 10 per cent tax on long-term capital gains from stock markets, exceeding Rs 1 lakh.
The Finance Minister also projected a fiscal deficit of 3.5 per cent of GDP for current fiscal against the earlier target of 3.2 per cent which also accelerated pace of selling by participants.Todays loss estimated to $ 70 Billion

[Mumbai]Indian Rupee Still Sliding Against US Dollar in Early Trade
Continuing its slide for the third straight day, the rupee depreciated by another 19 paise to trade at 66.07 against the dollar in early trade today on foreign funds outflows amid a lower opening in the domestic equity market.
As per forex dealers ,.Besides, persistent demand for the American currency from importers and banks and dollar’s strength against other currencies overseas on expectations of a US interest rate hike weighed on the rupee,
The rupee had ended 15 paise lower at 65.88 yesterday on sustained demand for the American currency from banks and importers amid a big fall in domestic equities.
Meanwhile, the benchmark
Sensex plunged 265.36 points, or 1.03 per cent, to 25,386.48 in early trade.

[Mumbai]Indian Rupee Shrinks 17 Paise Against American Dollar In Early Market
The Indian rupee depreciated by another 17 paise to 66.63 against the dollar in early trade today as the US currency strengthened in overseas markets.
Forex dealers said persistent demand for the dollar from importers and sustained capital outflows by foreign funds also weighed on the rupee.Early gains in stock markets, however, limited the rupee losses against dollar
The rupee had declined by 22 paise to settle at 66.46 against the US dollar on Friday on persistent demand for the American currency from banks and importers amidst foreign capital outflows.
Meanwhile, the benchmark Sensex rose by 148.11 points, or 0.59 per cent, to 25,350.01 in early trade

ढलान पर रिवर्स गेयर में आये भारतीय रुपये में आज भी ब्रेक नहीं लगे :एक डॉलर के लिए ६४.४५ रुपयों का भुगतान हुआ |
भारतीय रुपये के रिवर्स गेयर में आने के बाद लगता है कि रुपये की ब्रेक भी बेकार हो गई हैं जिसके फलस्वरूप एक डॉलर को खरीदने के लिए ६४.४५ रुपयों का भुगतान करना पड़ा| अमेरिकी डालर के मुकाबले रुपया 64.45 रुपये प्रति डालर के ऐतिहासिक निचले स्तर पर दिखाई दिया| दोपहर के कारोबार में यह 64.45 रुपये प्रति डालर के एतिहासिक निम्न स्तर को छू गया।रुपये में आज लगातार पांचवें सत्र में गिरावट जारी रही । बताया जा रहा है कि रिजर्व बैंक द्वारा नकदी बढ़ाने के उपायों की कल घोषणा के बाद यह गिरावट आई है|
इसका असर स्थानीय शेयर बाजार में भी दिखाई दिया |बाज़ारों में भरी गिरावट देखी गई|बंबई शेयर बाजार का सेंसेक्स 340 अंक 1.86 % की गिरावट के साथ करीब एक साल के निम्न स्तर पर बंद हुआ।
अमेरिकन डॉलर के आलावा ब्रिटिश पाउंड के सामने भी भारतीय रूपया १०१/= तक कमजोर हुआ|। रुपया कल पौंड के साथ कारोबार के दौरान 99.04 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ था हालांकि आज विदेशी मुद्रा बाजार में अपराह्न के कारोबार के दौरान ब्रिटिश पाउंड के मुकाबले मुकाबले 101.2 के स्तर तक लुढक गया था।
तीस प्रमुख शेयरों पर आधारित सेंसेक्स 340.13 अंक या 1.86 प्रतिशत की गिरावट के साथ 17,905.91 अंक पर बंद हुआ। साल में यह पहला मौका है जब सेंसेक्स 18,००० अंकों से नीचे आया है।

जेट एयरवेज के शेयर्स में ऍफ़ आई पी बी के पंचर को कॉडशेयर समझौते ने रिपेयर किया

जेट एयरवेज़ एयर लाइन्स के शेयर्स को आज कॉडशेयर्ससमझौते का सहारा मिल गया|नीचे जाते जाते संभल गए और १.५६%[[BSE ]की बढत पर स्थिर हो गए|
सुबह लगभग १२% तक गिरावट दर्ज़ की गई लेकिन इसी बीच एयर फ्रांस और के एल एम् के साथ कंपनी ने कोड शेयर्स[ CodeShare ] के अंतर्गत व्य्व्साईक समझौते की घोषणा की जिसके बाहर आते ही ४११.६० तक डूब चुके शेयर्स ४७६ .५० ,पर उछाल मार गए|
इससे पूर्व बीते सप्ताहांत ऍफ़ आई पी बी [ FIPB ]ने नरेश गोयल की जेट एयर वेज़ और मिडिल एशिया की एतिहाद एयर लाइन्स में दो हज़ार करोड़ रुपयों के वित्तीय समझौते पर प्रकोप दिखाया जिसके चलते बी एस सी [३०] के स्टॉक प्राइज में सवा प्रतिशत से अधिक की गिरावट आ गई| एतिहाद ने जेट एयरवेज में २४% शेयर्स की खरीद का ऐलान किया हुआ है|इसी बीच जेट एयरवेज ने व्य्व्साईक रणनीति का एलान करते हुए एयर फ्रांस और के एल एम् के साथ कॉड शेयरिंग ट्रेवलिंग की घोषणा कर दी | इससे शेयर्स गिरते गिरते संभल गए और डेड़ प्रतिशत से अधिक लाभ पर स्थिर हो गए|

डी एम् के के विड्रावल के कारण बाज़ार में गिरावट नहीं आई है: केन्द्रीय वित्त मंत्री पी चिदम्बरम

केन्द्रीय वित्त मंत्री पी चिदम्बरम ने कढ़ाई से कहा कि डी एम् के के विड्रावल के कारण बाज़ार में गिरावट नहीं आई है वरन सायप्रस में आई समस्या और भारतीय रिसर्व बैंक के नीतियों की कारण बाज़ार में गिरावट आई है |इसके लिए वह[चिदम्बरम ]स्वयम इन्वेस्टर्स से बात करेगे| गौर तलब है कि डी एम् के द्वारा १८ सांसदों की सपोर्ट विड्रा करने के कारण बाज़ार सहमा है और उसमे लगातार गिरावट आ रही है| इसी विषय पर सुबह प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में एक पत्रकार द्वारा पूछे जाने पर वित्त मन्त्रे ने तत्काल इस संभावना से इनकार कर दिया और कहा कि सायप्रस में आई तब्दीली और आर बी आई[ R B I ] के कारण बाज़ार में गिरावट आई है|

गौर तलब है कि यूरोपीय यूनियन ने सायप्रस को बैंक डिपॉजिटर्स पर टैक्स लगाकर कम से कम 5.8 अरब यूरो जुटाने को कहा है। यूरोपीय यूनियन ने कहा है कि 10 अरब डॉलर के बेलआउट पैकेज के लिए सायप्रस को यह कदम उठाना होगा। इस कदम से स्थानीय लोग, रूसी और फाइनैंशल मार्केट से जुडे़ सभी लोग हैरान हैं।इसके अलावा भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) के रीपो दर में 25 आधार अंकों की कटौती किए जाने के बाद बैंकों द्वारा कर्ज दरों में कटौती करने की संभावना नहीं के बराबर बताई जा रही है | इसके अलावा आज समाज वादी पार्टी भी सरकार को झटके देने लग गई है संभवत इसीलिए आज भी बाज़ार लगातार नीचे के और ही लुड़का | सेंसेक्स १२३.९१ अंक गिर कर 18884.19 1 (-0.65%)और निफ्टी ५१.५५ अंक नीचे आकर 5694.40 पर (-0.90%)रुका |
