(New Delhi) Idols of Lord Rama+Lakshmana+Sita Ceremoniously Handedover To TN Govt
These idols are the masterpieces of Indian Metal Art and are 90.5 cm, 78 cm, and 74.5 cm in height respectively. Stylistically, these sculptures are dateable to the 13th century AD.
Earlier, on 15th September 2020, these Bronze idols were handed over to High Commission of India in London by Metropolitan Police, London. As per the photo documentation done in 1958, these idols belong to the Sri Rajagopal Vishnu Temple (temple built during the Vijayanagara period) in Anandamangalam in Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu. As per the investigation carried out by the Idol wing of Tamil Nadu police these idols were stolen from the Sri Rajagopal Vishnu Temple on 23/24 November 1978.

National carrier Air India has seen revenues from tickets booked through mobile devices jump nearly three-fold since the re-launch of its mobile application in October.
Air India was raking in daily revenues to the tune of Rs 10-12 lakh from the tickets booked through mobile devices.
With the launch of the mobile application, the amount has rose nearly three-fold to Rs 36 lakh per day, a senior official said.
“We have seen this uptick in the last nearly one and a half months following the re-launch of our mobile app in October,” Air India Finance Director Vinod Hejmadi said at SITA’s two-day 2016 Aviation ICT forum
As per estimates, more than one billion Indians use a mobile phone and out of them around 300 million regularly use them to access Internet.
In October, Air India carried 11.25 lakh passengers domestically and had a market share of 13%
