State Congress president and Lok Sabha member N Uttam Kumar Reddy flagged off the bus today at Gandhi Bhavan, the party’s headquarters in Telangana
The Congress had arranged two buses last week for 80 migrant workers to reach their native places in Uttar Pradesh and Odisha.
The buses were made available in line with the directive of the party central leadership to help such workers who are keen on going back to their native places during the ongoing COVID-19 national lockdown, state leaders had said.
They had also claimed there was no response after the state unit wrote to the Chief Secretary expressing its willingness to contribute towards the “Shramik special” train ticket charges for migrant labourers.
The offer was made following Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s statement that the party was ready to bear the expenses for the journey. Earlier Congress Failed in its Bus Politics Through Rajasthan

Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar has been posted as Principal Secretary to Irrigation and Command Area Development Department, a government order (GO) issued on Sunday.
Special Chief Secretary (political) Adhar Sinha and Special Chief Secretary (housing) Chitra Ramachandran were posed as Special Chief Secretary of the Animal Husbandry Department and Special Chief Secretary of Education Department respectively.
This is a major reshuffle after Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao took over the reins for the second time after the Assembly polls in November 2018.

The 37-day-old indefinite strike by the transport employees in Telangana pressing various demands would be intensified from November 11, the unions announced on Sunday.
TSRTC-Joint Action Committee leader EAshwathamaReddy said the agitating employees would hold protests in front of the residences of MPs, MLCs and MLAs of the ruling TRS across the state on November 11 and on November 12 three union leaders would launch an indefinite fast here.
On November 13, they would lodge a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission and National Commission for Women in Delhi, over alleged repression of the employees since the launch of strike.
He said they would organise road blockades across the state on November 18.
The union leader urged the state government to respect the Telangana High Court directive and invite the RTC workers for talks.
Nearly 48,000 employees of the corporation have been on an indefinite strike from October 5 across Telangana, demanding merger of RTC with the government transport department, pay revision, among others.

Committee on Greenfield Airports Cleared Four Projects
The Steering Committee on Greenfield airports headed by Secretary, Civil Aviation (MoCA), Government of India met today and considered 4 new airport projects.
The Committee recommended ‘in principle’ approval to 3 projects in
Andhra Pradesh viz., Bhogapuram, Dagadarthi (Nellore) and Orvakallu (Kurnool). The Committee also recommended for ‘site clearance’ to the project of Kothagudem in Telengana.
The new International airport at Bhogapuram will be developed by the State Government under PPP mode at an estimated cost of Rs.2200 Crore to cater to 6.3 million passengers per annum (mppa) in the initial phase.
The other two airports in Andhra Pradesh will be developed as domestic No-Frills airports with an estimated cost of Rs.88 crores each.
Dagadarthi will be developed under PPP mode whereas project at Orvakallu will be developed by State Government itself.
The Steering Committee has also recommended ‘site clearance’ for the new Greenfield airport project at Kothagudem in Telangana. With this, Telangana is getting a second Greenfield airport besides Hyderabad International airport.
These clearances are expected to enhance the aviation infrastructure facilities in newly created states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and will also boost the Regional Connectivity Scheme announced recently by Government of India.

जेल की रोटियां तोड़ने के शौकीनों के लिए एक तेलंगाना से एक अच्छी खबर आई है |वहां पर्यटक अब 500 रूपये में ले सकेंगे ऐतिहासिक जेल का अनुभव
तेलंगाना के मेडक जिले में औपनिवेशिक काल के जेल को देखने आने वाले पर्यटक अब 500 रूपये देकर एक दिन जेल में रूक भी सकते हैं और जेल जीवन का अनुभव भी हासिल कर सकते हैं।
दरअसल संगारेड्डी में 220 साल पुराना जिला सेंट्रल जेल है, जिसे अब संग्रहालय बना दिया गया है। अब यहां के कारागार विभाग ने पर्यटकों को नए तरह का अनुभव देने के लिए एक नई चीज शुरू की है।
अब कोई पर्यटक 500 रूपये देकर 24 घंटे तक जेल में रह सकता है और जेल का अनुभव हासिल कर सकता है।
इस पहल का नाम ‘फील द जेल’ रखा गया है।
जेल में रूकने के दौरान पर्यटकों को जेल वाले खादी के बने हुए कपड़े पहनने को दिए जाएंगे।
खाने और पीने के लिए जेल के हिसाब से बर्तन भी मिलेंगे।
जेल के उप अधीक्षक लक्ष्मी नरसिम्हा के अनुसार अब तक किसी पर्यटक ने इस सुविधा का लाभ नहीं उठाया है।
पर्यटकों को जेल मेनू के हिसाब से चाय और भोजन दिया जाएगा।
खाने में उन्हें रोटी, चावल, अरहर, लाल चना दाल, कढ़ी और दही दी जाएगी।
हालांकि पर्यटक ‘कैदियों’ से किसी तरह का काम नहीं लिया जाएगा, बस उन्हें बैरक साफ करना होगा और वो पोधे लगाने के लिए स्वतंत्र होंगे।
पुरानी जेल को संग्रहालय में तब्दील किया गया था और उसे आम लोगों के लिए खोल दिया गया है। संग्रहालय में उन सभी महत्वपूर्ण लोगों का इतिहास है जो यहां कैदी के रूप में रहे थे। यहां निजाम शासन के दौरान जेलों के इतिहास को भी दिखाया गया है।
अभी 15-20 लोग संग्रहालय देखने लगभग हर दिन आते हैं। जेल विभाग पुरानी जेल में बच्चों के लिए पार्क और आयुर्वेदिक गांव बनाने की संभावना भी जा रही हैं

Congress Legislature Party leader in Telangana Assembly K Jana Reddy today alleged that the ruling party is “inducing” opposition legislators.
“The TRS government’s behaviour is unethical and undemocratic. This (defections) is being done in the guise of development. People hate this experiment for self interests, selfish politics and for temporary gains,” Jana Reddy, who is Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, told reporters here.
“The way the TRS government and its chief (K Chandrasekhar Rao) is creating, inducing and encouraging these is deplorable. We strongly condemn this,” he said.
His criticism came in the wake of several Congress MLAs switching loyalty to the TRS.

Punjab today joined the states which have ordered laboratory testing of Maggi noodles samples following allegations of lapses in food safety standards.
Heath and Family Welfare Minister Surjit Kumar Jayani informed to media that . almost 60 samples of Maggi noodles have been collected from various parts of the state for laboratory testing
He said that the samples have been sent for testing in a government laboratory in Amritsar.
BJP quota Minister said “If any lapse is found as per food safety standards, then appropriate action will be taken in this regard,”
The minister said a probe is being conducted by various states into the alleged lapses in food safety standards in popular instant food.
[2] The samples of Maggi instant noodles are being tested at a lab as part of the nationwide exercise over the alleged presence of mono-sodium glutamate (MSG) and lead in their food products.
As per K Amarender Reddy, Director of Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM), 22 samples from state. are collected and sent for screening. Andhra Pradesh shares the lab with Telangana
Tamil Nadu government has also decided to send Nestle’s noodle brand Maggi to the labs
Uttar Pradesh + Kerala have already ordered the retailers in their states to take the product off their shelves.
The Food Safety Department of Tamil Nadu has initiated proceedings in this regard, collecting samples and sending them to laboratories across the state to be examined,
The Central Government had made it clear yesterday that Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is testing more Maggi samples collected from different states following the detection of MSG and lead in excess of the prescribed limit in the noodles.
Last week, a case had been lodged against Nestle India by state food regulator FSDA in a local court at Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh over safety standards of its Maggi, while actors Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Preity Zinta have also been dragged into it for promoting the ‘two-minute’ noodles brand
In Gujarat 39 samples of Maggi noodles have been collected and sent them for laboratory testing.

The Union Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley has said that the facilities at India’s 25 Cultural World Heritage Sites are still deficient and require restoration.
While presenting the General Budget 2015-16 in the Parliament today, the Finance Minister Shri Jaitley has stated that the facilities like landscaping restoration, signage and interpretation centres, parking, access for differently abled, amenities for visitors including securities and toilets, illumination and plans for benefiting communities around them would be restored. The Union Finance Minister Shri Jaitley has proposed to provide resources to start work along these lines for the following Heritage Sites:

2]Hampi, Karnataka
3]Kumbalgarh and other Hill Forts of Rajasthan
4] Rani ki Vav, Patan, Gujarat
