[New Delhi]CISF Takes Over UIDAI Centre For Security Cover in Bengaluru
An armed squad of 80 CISF commandos has taken over full security of the all-important and sensitive UIDAI data centre in Bengaluru, the repository of the Aadhaar data, to protect it against any possible terror strike or threat.
The CISF has been guarding the facility since December 2014 as part of a temporary duty and the government has now regularised its deployment and granted it the status of a full unit under protection.
Bengaluru is the hub of major electronic and Information Technology (IT) companies of the country and is always under constant threat from anti-national elements,

Around 9,500 persons attended a two-day awareness camp to create awareness about digital payments and help people open bank accounts and enroll for Aadhaar,
As per Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology ,.Digital transactions worth Rs 60,000 were conducted at the event that concluded today,
and witnessed footfall of over 9500 visitors in two days
The camp commenced on December 17 culminated today at Major Dhyanchand National Stadium, Delhi.
The objective of the initiative was to enable citizens and merchants to undertake real-time digital transactions through the DigiDhan Bazaar and encourage them to use digital platforms for day-to-day transactions,
“As many as 72 participants from 29 banks including State Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Andhra Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, ICICI Bank were present,”
Eighteen mobile wallet operators like MobiKwik, Oxygen, TranServ; telecom companies like Airtel, Idea, Reliance Jio participated in the event.
Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) vendors, merchants (through marketing associations), co-operatives like Kendriya Bhandar and organised retail fruits and vegetable chains like Safal, Mother Dairy took part in the DigiDhan Mela.
“Cashless transactions took place worth Rs 60,000 at the DigiBazar,”
The UIDAI counter at the Mela created about 500 new Aadhaar accounts and registered over 2,000 new applications and NPCI (National Payment Corporation of India) has made almost 6000 people aware about USSD (, AEPS and RuPay card in a span of two days, it added.

J Satyanarayana appointed as part-time Chairman of UIDAI
Information Technology, Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad administered the oath of Office and Secrecy to J Satyanarayana, IAS retd. (1977, AP cadre) who has been appointed part-time Chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
The minister also administered the oath to Rajesh Jain and Dr. Anand Deshpande who have been appointed as part-time members of UIDAI.
Satyanarayana has close to four decades of experience in varied areas of governance and served as the Secretary, Department of Electronics and Information Technology from 2012 to 2014 before superannuation.
He has been instrumental in training the political leaders & policy makers on the concepts and principles of e-Governance.
Rajesh Jain, Founder and Managing Director of netCORE Solutions is s established entrepreneurs in the IT space.
An electrical engineer from IIT Bombay,
Dr. Anand Deshpande, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Persistent Systems, is a B. Tech. (Hons.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the IIT, Kharagpur, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, USA.

यूआईडीएआई के अनुसार आधार डाउनलोड की संख्या 40 करोड़ से ऊपर पहुँच चुकी है
कंपनी के अनुसार आधार के इलेक्ट्रोनिक संस्करण का औसत डाउनलोड रोजाना 6 लाख है |
यूनिक आईडेंटीफिकेशन अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया (यूआईडीएआई)की वेबसाइट पर आधार कार्ड डाउनलोड करने वालों की संख्या बढ़ती जा रही है। प्रति दिन औसतन 6 लाख आधार कार्ड डाउनलोड किए जा रहे हैं।
आधार डाउनलोड की संख्या 40 करोड़ को पार कर गई है।
पहचान प्रमाण तथा सेवाप्रदाताओं द्वारा पते के प्रमाण में आधार के बढ़ते उपयोग के कारण यूआईडीएआई की वेबसाइट से आधार डाउनलोड करने की संख्या बढ़ी है।
2 मई, 2016 तक 100.93 करोड़ आधार कार्ड बनाए गए।
आधार के इलेक्ट्रोनिक संस्करण का डाटा आधार पत्र में अंकित डाटा की तरह ही है। इसलिए यूआईडीएआई की वेबसाइट से डाउनलोड किए गए आधार की वैधता उतनी ही है जितनी डाक से प्राप्त आधार कार्ड की वैधता, इसलिए डाउनलोड किया गया आधार कार्ड डाक से प्राप्त प्रिंटेड आधार कार्ड के बराबर माना जाता है।
यूआईडीएआई के महानिदेशक तथा मिशन निदेशक डॉ. अजय भूषण पांडे ने कहा है कि कोई भी व्यक्ति जिनका आधार कार्ड खो गया है और जिन्हें डाक से आधार कार्ड प्राप्त करना है वे आसानी से ऑन लाइन कुछ निश्चित विवरण देकर आधार डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं। यदि किसी व्यक्ति को अपना ब्यौरा याद नहीं है तो ऐसे व्यक्ति का आधार कार्ड 10 रुपये के न्यूनतम शुल्क देकर निकटतम प्राधिकृत आधार केंद्र से डाउनलोड या प्रिंट कराया जा सकता है। केंद्र तथा राज्य सरकारों ने सामाजिक क्षेत्र की विभिन्न योजनाओं/ परियोजनाओं को आधार से जोड़ दिया है और पहचान और पते के वैध साक्ष्य के रूप में आधार को अधिसूचित किया है।
विभिन्न सेवाओं के लिए पहचान के रूप में आधार का उपयोग बढ़ने से आधार के डाउनलोड संस्करण के उपयोग में भी वृद्धि होगी।

New Chief Election Commissioner Mr. H.S. Brahma has announced that ECI will be launching Mission of Electoral Roll authentication and Purification drive from March 1st, 2015.
Inaugurating a workshop on “ Linking of Aadhaar with Electoral Roll Database and Launching of Electoral Roll Authentication and Purification Drive“, at Dr. MCR HRD Institute, Hyderabad yesterday, Shri Brahma advised all his subordinates to come up with suitable action plan to expedite so that the mission could be completed by August 15th, 2015.
The DG and Mission Director of UIDAI, Dr. Vijay S. Madan assured all necessary support from UIDAI.
The workshop was organised by CEO Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
ECI has decided to mark year 2015 as the year of “Easy Registration and Easy Correction”. Within this mission ECI has already launched “National Voter Service Portal (NVSP)” on 25th January 2015 on the occasion of National Voters Day.
यूंपी में अभी तक एक तिहाई जनसंख्या के ही बने हैं”आधार”कार्ड:१४ करोड़ शेष
देश के सबसे बढे उत्तरप्रदेश में अभी तक एक तिहाई जनसंख्या के आधार कार्ड बनाये जा सके हैं|प्रदेश की कुल २० करोड़ बताई जा रही है जबकि 6 करोड़ आधार कार्ड जारी किए जा सके हैं |
भारतीय विशिष्ट पहचान प्राधिकरण (यूआईडीएआई) ने उत्तरप्रदेश की कुल 19.98 करोड़ आबादी (2011 जनगणना के अनुसार) में से अबतक 6 करोड़ आधार नंबर जारी किए हैं।यह राज्य उन चार नए राज्यों में से एक है, जहां इस वर्ष यूआईडीएआई ने आधार पंजीकरण शुरू किया था। वर्तमान समय में राज्य के 71 जिलों में 5,781 पंजीकरण स्टेशनों के जरिए निवासियों का पंजीकरण किया जा रहा है।
योजना आयोग के अनुसार यूआईडीएआई अभी तक 70.7 करोड़ आधार नंबर जारी कर चुका है। आंध्र प्रदेश, केरल, दिल्ली और हिमाचल प्रदेश समेत नौ राज्यों/केन्द्र शासित प्रदेशों के 90 % लोगों को आधार कार्ड जारी किया जा चुका है। इसके अलावा सात राज्यों/केन्द्र शासित प्रदेशों में 70 से 90 % लोगों को आधार कार्ड जारी किए जा चुके है।
उत्तरप्रदेश में 6 करोड़ आधार कार्डधारक अपने आधार से बैंक खाता खुलवाने, सिम कार्ड, पैन कार्ड और गैस कनेक्शन लेने इत्यादि का लाभ ले सकते हैं। इसके अलावा आने वाले दिनों में आधार और भी सुविधाएं दी जाएंगी।

यूं पी ऐ सरकार द्वारा जारी किये गए आधार कार्ड[ UID ] के प्रोजेक्ट को केंद्र में नई मोदी सरकार ने भी जारी रखने का निर्णय लिया है| वित्त मंत्री अरुणजेटली ने अपने पहले आम बजट में इस भारी भरकम प्रोजेक्ट के लिए २०००+करोड़ रुपयों का प्रावधान किया है | इस प्रोजेक्ट के जनक यूं पी ऐ सरकार ने बीते वर्ष के लिए डेढ़ हजार करोड़ रुपयों का प्रावधान किया था |नई सरकार ने यूनिक आइडेंटिफिकेशन अथॉरिटी ऑफ़ इंडिया द्वारा चलाई जा रही यूं आई डी के लिए ५०० करोड़ रुपये अधिक रखे हैं |मालूम हो कि वर्ष २००९ में नंदन नीलेकणि की अध्यक्षता में विशिष्ठ पहचान परियोजना के लिए UIDAIका गठन कियागया था| इस परियोजना के कार्यन्वयन पर और इसके चेयरमैन नंदन नीलेकणि के कांग्रेस से संबंधों पर अनेकों प्रश्न चिन्ह लगते रहे हैं यहाँ तक कि यूं आई डी कार्ड की विश्वश्नीयता पर भी सवालिया निशान लगाये जाते रहे हैं |
