(अकोला,महाराष्ट्र)संगोला में दशानन के बौद्धिक क्षमता+तपस्वी गुणों की पूजा
अकोला जिले के एक छोटे से गांव संगोला के निवासी भक्तिभाव से काले पत्थर से बनी रावण की विशाल प्रतिमा की पूजा करते हैं। इस प्रतिमा के 10 सर और 20 हाथ हैं।
लंका के राजा रावण की पूजा पिछले करीब दो सौ वर्षों से हो रही है।
संगोला गांव में रावण के बौद्धिक क्षमता और तपस्वी गुणों के लिए दशानन की पूजा की जाती है।
स्थानीय मान्यता नुसार रावण ने सीता का अपहरण राजनैतिक कारणों से किया था और उसने सीता का शीलभंग नहीं किया था। इसलिए उसका पुतला नहीं जलाया जाता ।

(Nagpur)Mohan Bhagwat Performed Shastra Puja to Mark Vijayadashmi
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday performed ‘shastra puja’ at the annual Vijayadashmi festival in Maharashtra’s Nagpur city.
He was seen giving a thumbs up while the RSS band performed after drill exercises by swayamsevaks.
Dussehra holds a special importance for sarsanghchalaks as the RSS was founded on this day in 1925.
HCL founder Shiv Nadar is the chief guest for this year’s event.
Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Gen V K Singh (retd) and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were among the others present at the event.
