Three Rohingya Muslims, including a woman, have been arrested at Balapur for obtaining
Aadhaar cards,
voter ID cards,
PAN cards and
Indian passports
Bank Accounts etc
by allegedly submitting fake documents
The trio migrated to Hyderabad in 2013 from Myanmar as refugees but suppressed their identity and fraudulently got the identification documents,
They colluded with locals to make false bonafide certificates based on which false declarations were made before government officials by suppressing facts that they were Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar
Preliminary investigation revealed the three had not registered with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
.Hyderabad is home to an estimated 3,500-4,000 Rohingyas

ISRO Tags Another Feather Of Crew Escape System In Its Cap
The Crew Module, part
ISRO carried out a major technology demonstration today, the first in a series of tests to qualify a Crew Escape System, which is a critical technology relevant for human spaceflight.
The Crew Escape System is an emergency escape measure designed to quickly pull the crew module along with the astronauts to a safe distance from the launch vehicle in the event of a launch abort.
The first test (Pad Abort Test) demonstrated the safe recovery of the crew module in case of any exigency at the launch pad.
After a smooth countdown of 5 hours, the Crew Escape System along with the simulated crew module with a mass of 12.6 tonnes, lifted off at 07.00 AM (IST) at the opening of the launch window from its pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota today.

Tourism Ministry States that
This is with reference to the news carried by some sections of the press on 01st and 02nd July 2018 with the headline “Red Fort, four other Delhi heritage sites get Monument Mitra”.
The Ministry of Tourism has clarified that all these articles had certain serious factual discrepancies and the correct position is stated as below:
1. The articles state that Monument Mitras have been appointed for Red Fort and four heritage sites in Delhi. But, it is clarified that Monument Mitra has been assigned to only one site in Delhi.
2. Further, the articles incorrectly stated that Caper Travel Company has been appointed as the Monument Mitra for four heritage sites in Delhi i.e. Azim Khan’s tomb, Jamali Kamali mosque & tomb, Rajaon Ki Baoli and Moth Ki Masjid. The Tourism Ministry has clarified that the said company’s vision document is presently under evaluation stage and no MoU has been signed with them.
It is pertinent to mention that the “Adopt a Heritage – Apni Dharohar Apni Pehchaan” is a collaborative effort by Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Archaeological Survey of India and State / UT Governments. It aims to encourage public / private sector companies and corporate citizens / NGOs / individuals to take up the responsibility of making our heritage and tourism more sustainable through development, operation and maintenance of World Class tourist infrastructure and amenities at ASI / State heritage sites and other important tourist sites in India.

Giving a major boost for the farmers’ income, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the increase in the Minimum Support Prices (MSPs) for all kharif crops for 2018-19 Season.
The decision of the CCEA is a historic one as it redeems the promise of the pre-determined principle of fixing the MSPs at a level of at least 150 percent of the cost of production announced by the Union Budget for 2018-19. The Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP) has recommended MSPs for all kharif crops broadly in line with the announced principle.

The police has seized Rs 1.68 crore in demonetised currency notes from three people, who were later arrested.
Acting on a tip-off, the police kept a watch at a garden near Parsik Reti Bunder in the district’s Kalwa town on June 30 and spotted the three people who had apparently come there to dispose of the scrapped notes.
A case was registered against culprits by the Kalwa police under relevant sections
