Jaipur, Oct 4 (PTI) Vaibhav Gehlot,son of CM Ashok Gehlot,Elected RCA President
His panel swept all six posts in a tension-ridden election of the state body.
Vaibhav scored a resounding 25-6 victory over Ram Prakash Choudhary to bag the top post. He enjoyed support from C P Joshi and Vaibhav rewarded the outgoing RCA president by making him the chief patron of the association.
After losing Lok Sabha election from Jodhpur, Vaibhav was later nominated as treasurer of Rajsamand District Association, paving his entry into the RCA.
Amin Pathan was elected vice president while Mahendra Sharma became the new secretary.
KK Neemawat and Mahendra Nahar were elected as joint secretaries.
Brajkishore Upadhyaya was elected as an executive member.
The challenge of the Lalit Modi faction, led by another senior congress leader Rameshwar Dudi, lost the sting after three district associations — Nagaur, Sri Ganganagar and Alwar — were disqualified by the election officer RR Rashmi.
They were suspended by RCA and the nominations filed by their officials were rejected amidst a lot of chaos and angry exchanges between the two warring factions.
National selector Gagan Khoda did not turn up for voting.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Friday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, days after the state sought central assistance to compensate losses due to heavy rains and floods.
The Prime Minister’s Office tweeted a picture of the two in which Nath is seen handing over a memorandum to Modi.
Madhya Pradesh suffered a loss of Rs 11,906 crore during the recent floods, state government officials had told a visiting central team last month and sought immediate financial aid for relief and rehabilitation work.
The officials made a formal request for financial assistance of Rs 11,906 crore before the central team which visited the state.

Constitutionality of the dog breeding and marketing rules, including mandatory registration, framed under the Prevention of Corruption Act (PCA) for running a pet shop.is Challenged
The petition, by an association of pet shop owners, was first filed in the Supreme Court which had directed it to approach the high court.
The Pet Lovers Association, in its plea, has sought directions from the court to declare as illegal and ultra vires the Constitution the rules which has made having a licence or registration mandatory to run a pet shop.
Prior to the rules, there was no need for a licence or registration to run a pet shop.
The other requirements under the new rules include monthly visits to the veterinarian, keeping records of an animal’s source and selling the animal stock within three months from date of display.
The association has sought quashing of the rules, claiming that they are vague and contradictory to each other.
RBI’s Fifth Repo Rate Cut by 0.25 %
(Mumbai) The Reserve Bank (RBI) cut its key rates by 0.25 %
RBI cut its estimate of economic growth in the current fiscal to 6.1 % from its earlier estimate of 6.9 %
The repo rate, at which it lends to the system, has been brought down to 5.15 % to help reduce borrowing costs for home and auto loans, which are now directly linked to this benchmark.
This is the fifth straight cut in rates by the Reserve Bank in its key rates in as much policy reviews in 2019, and takes the total quantum of reductions to 1.35%

#विधानमंडल के दोनों सदनों ने एक प्रस्ताव पारित किया जिसमें उन सतत विकास लक्ष्यों को हासिल करने के लिए प्रभावी कदम उठाने की बात की गई जो राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी की विचारधारा के अनुरूप संयुक्त राष्ट्र में तय किए गए हैं।
#मुख्यमंत्रीयोगीआदित्यनाथ ने करीब डेढ़ घंटे सदन को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि सतत विकास के लक्ष्यों को प्राप्त करने के लिए पूरा देश उत्तर प्रदेश की ओर देख रहा है। सतत विकास लक्ष्यों को प्राप्त करने के लिए 16 समितियों का गठन किया गया है। वर्ष 2030 के लक्ष्यों को प्राप्त करने के लिए वर्ष 2022, 2024 और 2025 तक के लक्ष्यों को अलग-अलग तय किया गया है। केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित लक्ष्यों को प्राप्त करने की दिशा में उत्तर प्रदेश तेजी से काम कर रहा है।

This model should be adopted by all workstations, including private organisations.

( हैदराबाद) सातवें निजाम की ब्रिटेन में रखी धरोहर को 120 वंशजों में बांटनी होगी
करीब 3.5 करोड़ पाउंड धन को लेकर ब्रिटेन की एक अदालत के भारत के पक्ष में फैसला सुनाये जाने के एक दिन बाद हैदराबाद के सातवें निजाम नवाब मीर उस्मान अली खान बहादुर के पौत्र तथा निजाम परिवार कल्याण संघ के अध्यक्ष नवाब नजफ अली खान ने कहा कि करीब 120 परिजन हैं जिनकी इस धन में हिस्सेदारी है और वे सब धन के बंटवारे को लेकर बातचीत करेंगे तथा फैसला करेंगे।
ब्रिटेन के हाई कोर्ट ने 1947 में विभाजन के वक्त हैदराबाद के दिवंगत सातवें निजाम के धन को लेकर बुधवार को भारत के पक्ष में फैसला सुनाया तथा पाकिस्तान के दावे को खारिज कर दिया।
सत्तर साल से अधिक पुरानी कानूनी लड़ाई में ब्रिटिश अदालत के फैसले पर खुशी जाहिर करते हुए निजाम के वंशज और हैदराबाद के आठवें निजाम प्रिंस मुकर्रम जाह और उनके छोटे भाई मुफ्फकम जाह ने नेटवेस्ट बैंक पीएलसी में पड़े साढ़े तीन करोड़ पाउंड को लेकर कानूनी लड़ाई में पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ भारत सरकार से हाथ मिला लिया था।
नजफ अली खान ने कहा कि ये दोनों अकेले धन नहीं ले सकते।
उन्होंने कहा कि प्रिंस और उनके छोटे भाई समेत परिवार के सभी सदस्य राशि बांटने को लेकर बैठकर बातचीत करेंगे।
खान ने कहा कि अगर प्रिंस और उनके भाई इस बात पर सहमत नहीं होते तो हम अदालत में जाएंगे।
केंद्र ने अपने कर्मियों के लिए एचबीए पर ब्याज दर 0.06% घटा कर 7.9 % किया
(नई दिल्ली) एचबीए पर ब्याज दर 0.06% घटा कर 7.9 % किया
गृहनिर्माण अग्रिम (एचबीए) पर ब्याज दर एक साल की अवधि के लिए मौजूदा 8.5 प्रतिशत से घटाकर 7.9 प्रतिशत कर दी गई है, यह 01 अक्टूबर, 2019 से प्रभावी मानी जाएगी।
एचबीए स्थायी कर्मचारियों के साथ-साथ उन सभी अस्थायी कर्मचारियों के लिए भी मान्य होता है जिन्होंने 5 वर्षों की निरंतर सेवा दी हो।
मंत्रालयों/विभागों को एचबीए नियमों के अनुसार अपने कर्मचारियों के लिए गृह निर्माण अग्रिम (एचबीए) को मंजूर करने का अधिकार दिया जाता है।
केंद्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों से जुड़ी एचबीए योजना का उद्देश्य एक कल्याणकारी कदम के तहत सरकारी कर्मचारियों को स्वयं के आवास/फ्लैटों के निर्माण/खरीद के लिए सहायता मुहैया कराना है।

Shiromani Akali Dal announced to contest the state assembly polls in alliance with the INLD.
The SAD, which is the part of the ruling NDA at the Centre, had snapped ties with the BJP in the state after its lone MLA from Kalanwali Balkaur Singh switched to the saffron party.
The SAD had contested the 2014 assembly elections in the state in alliance with the INLD. Their alliance had come to an end in 2017 over the issue of the Sutlej-Yamuna link canal.
On Thursday, Akali candidates will file their nomination papers from Kalanwali, Ratia and Guhla Cheeka.
