पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा भारत माता के वीर सपूतों ने गलवान वैली में हमारी मातृभूमि की रक्षा करते हुये सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिया है।
मैं देश की सेवा में उनके इस महान बलिदान के लिए उन्हें नमन करता हूं, उन्हें कृतज्ञतापूर्वक श्रद्धांजलि देता हूँ।
दुःख की इस कठिन घड़ी में हमारे इन शहीदों के परिजनों के प्रति मैं अपनी समवेदनाएं व्यक्त करता हूँ।
आज पूरा देश आपके साथ है, देश की भावनाएं आपके साथ हैं।
उन्होंने कहा,हमारे इन शहीदों का ये बलिदान व्यर्थ नहीं जाएगा।
चाहे स्थिति कुछ भी हो, परिस्थिति कुछ भी हो, भारत पूरी दृढ़ता से देश की एक एक इंच जमीन की, देश के स्वाभिमान की रक्षा करेगा।
भारत सांस्कृतिक रूप से एक शांति प्रिय देश है। हमारा इतिहास शांति का रहा है।

The Allahabad High Court on Tuesday granted bail to UP Congress chief Ajay Kumar Lallu while questioning his party’s offer to provide buses for migrant workers, the issue which triggered a row with the state government and also led to his arrest.
The Lucknow bench of the high court said it is “disturbing” that the state government and the party were at loggerheads over the issue.
Lallu was arrested for allegedly furnishing fake documents related to the 1,000 buses that the Congress offered to the BJP government to ferry stranded workers back to Uttar Pradesh.

On Sunday, the Uttar Pradesh Police’s special task force busted a tender racket and arrested four persons, including two senior government officials, for allegedly duping a man to the tune of Rs 9.72 crore.
Those arrested were identified as Rajnish Dixit, chief personal secretary to the minister of state for animal husbandry, fisheries and dairy development; Dheeraj Kumar, private secretary to the minister; AK Rajiv, alias Akhilesh Kumar, who claims to be a journalist; and Ashish Rai, the UP Police said in a statement.
A complaint was lodged by Manjeet Singh Bhatia, a resident of Indore, that he was duped of Rs 9.72 crore in the name of filing a tender in the animal husbandry department.

Punjab health authorities on Monday reported four more fatalities along with 127 fresh coronavirus infections, bringing the total in the state to 3,267 cases and 71 deaths.
According to a health bulletin, all four deaths were recorded in #Amritsar.
The maximum 33 people tested positive for the infection in #Ludhiana, one of the worst-hit districts.
Twenty-three cases were reported from #Jalandhar; 20 from Amritsar; 15 from Sangrur; 11 from #Mohali; 10 from Patiala; two each from Pathankot, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur and Ferozepur; and one each from Rupnagar, Moga, Gurdaspur, Faridkot, Tarn Taran an SBS Nagar.
Of them, 17 people had travel history to Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Mumbai, Pune, Haryana and Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, 87 patients recovered from the infection and discharged from various hospitals in the state. The number of cured persons reached 2,443 with this, the bulletin said.
There are 753 active cases in the state as of now.
Amritsar continued to lead the COVID-19 tally in the state with 633 coronavirus cases, followed by 387 in Ludhiana; 347 in Jalandhar; 169 in Gurdaspur; 168 in Tarn Taran; 175 in Mohali; 169 in Patiala; 158 in Sangrur; 145 in Pathankot; 141 in Hoshiarpur; 120 in SBS Nagar; 87 in Faridkot; 80 in Rupnagar; 77 in Fatehgarh Sahib; 73 in Muktsar; 71 in Moga; 57 in Bathinda; 50 in Fazilka; 51 in Ferozepur; 44 in Kapurthala; 34 in Mansa; and 31 in Barnala.
One patient is critical and on ventilator support, the bulletin said.
A total of 1,88,699 samples have been taken so far for testing, it added.

Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh in a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi pointed towards a ‘large-scale devastation and distress’ caused to the state due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Centre’s urgent intervention was needed to avert any major socio-economic upheaval in the coming future, as also to assure our next generations of safe living and security of livelihood, said the CM demanding an aid of Rs 80,845 crore.
The Punjab government feels that states alone cannot meet the new challenges, therefore, in the true spirit of cooperative federalism, needs the Union government to assist them in an unusually big way, which the country has never seen since the Independence in 1947, the CM said. central schemes should be 100 per cent funded by the Centre in 2020-21
The Punjab government also sought Rs 6,603 crore for improvement in the state’s public health infrastructure.
Besides seeking Rs 5,040 crore as fiscal assistance for the welfare of migrant labourers, the CM demanded that the Inter-State Migrant Workers Act should be revamped to safeguard their interests and basic rights.

An updated Clinical Management Protocol for COVID-19 has been released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on 13th June, 2020 in which the drug Remdesivir has been included as an “investigational therapy” only for restricted emergency use purposes along with off label use of Tocilizumab and Convalescent Plasma.
This drug has still not been approved (market authorization) by the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA), where like India it continues only under an Emergency Use Authorization.
