As per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare all Health Care Organizations (HCOs) empanelled under CGHS, are notified as COVID-Hospitals by State Governments shall provide treatment facilities to CGHS beneficiaries as per the CGHS norms, for all COVID related treatments. Similarly, it is directed that all the CGHS empanelled hospitals, which are not notified as COVID Hospitals shall not deny treatment facilities / admission to CGHS beneficiaries and shall charge as per CGHS norms

(Mumbai) Ganesh Mandals Will Follow Govt Orders on Covid 19 :Mumbai
Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh held a meeting with representatives of various Ganesh mandals from the city and sought their views on how they plan to organise the Ganpati festival celebration this year in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak.
The 10-day festival begins on ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’, which falls on August 22 this year.
During the meeting, which took place on Tuesday at the commissioner’s office, the mandals assured the police chief that they will follow all orders of the Maharashtra government and if directed, they will not organise the celebrations this year, a representative of one of the mandals said.

Delhi recorded 1,366 fresh cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the tally to 31,309, while the death toll mounted to 905,
According to a health bulletin issued by the Delhi government’s health department, there are 18,543 active cases, while 11,861 patients have either recovered, been discharged or migrated.
No health bulletin was issued on Tuesday.

The Shiromani Akali Dal on Monday announced a 19-member core committee of the party comprising senior leaders.
Senior leader Jagmeet Singh Brar was included as a member of the party’s highest decision-making body,
Brar, a former Congress MP, had joined the Akali Dal last year.
Other members of the core committee are Balwinder Singh Bhunder, Tota Singh, Charanjit Singh Atwal, Nirmal Singh Kahlon, Maheshinder Singh Grewal, Prem Singh Chandumajra, Daljit Singh Cheema and Jagir Kaur.
Upinderjit Kaur, Sikander Singh Maluka, Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Bikram Singh Majithia, Hari Singh Zira, Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Gulzar Singh Ranike, Surjit Singh Rakhra, Baldev Singh Mann and SGPC chief Gobind Singh Longowal are too included in the panel.
Senior vice-president and spokesman of the SAD, Daljit Singh Cheema, said party chief Sukhbir Singh Badal appointed Jagir Kaur as the president of women’s wing.
Gulzar Singh Ranike has been appointed as the chief of the party’s Scheduled Castes wing.
MLA N K Sharma will lead the party’s trade wing.
Parmbans Singh Bunty Romana was appointed as the president of the Youth Akali Dal, said Cheema.

As per Additional Director General of the ATS, Dhruva Kant Thakur, “The UP ATS has arrested Javed, an arms supplier to Khalistani terrorists, from Hapur. Javed is a resident of the Kithore area of Meerut. His interrogation is on and the Punjab Police has been informed about the arrest.” Javed has also supplied illegal arms to criminals in Amritsar.
ATS officials said a number of pro-Khalistan terrorists have been caught in western UP and the Punjab Police was searching Javed for quite some time.
In May, in a joint operation by the Uttar Pradesh ATS and the Special Operation Group of the Punjab Police, Tirath Singh, a suspected terrorist owing allegiance to the Khalistan movement was arrested from Thapar Nagar in Meerut.
He was handed over to the Punjab Police after interrogation.

Punjab Firm Employee Arrested in Himachal; PPEs,Kit Bribery case
An employee of a Punjab-based firm has been arrested in connection with a bribery case involving the director of health services in Himachal Pradesh
The arrest comes a few days after Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that state BJP president Rajeev Bindal quit on moral grounds as he was close to the employee identified as Prithviraj Singh, a liasioning officer of the Dera Bassi-based firm Bio Aid.
Last month, director of health services Ajay Kumar Gupta was arrested, following which the state government suspended him. He is currently out on bail since May 30.
Talking to reporters on Thursday, the chief minister said, “Bindal was close to the other person (Prithviraj Singh), so his name was being associated with the alleged scam.

The Madhya Pradesh government has transferred 16 IAS officers, including collectors of seven districts and divisional commissioner of Indore.
The newly-appointed collectors are Alok Kumar Singh (Dhar), Ilayaraja T (Rewa), Ved Prakash (Narsinghpur), Anil Kumar Khare (Mandla), Chandramauli Shukla (Dewas), Rajiv Ranjan Meena (Singrauli) and Avdhesh Sharma (Agar Malwa).
The existing district collectors of six of these districts, except Singrauli, have been shifted as deputy secretaries in the state secretariat
Bhopal Municipal Commissioner B Vijay Dutta has also been transferred as deputy secretary in the state secretariat and replaced by V S Choudhary Kolsani, who was till now Singrauli’s district collector.
Besides, Indore divisional commissioner Akash Tripathi has been replaced by Pawan Kumar Sharma, who was commissioner of the Narmada Valley Development Authority.
Tripathi has been appointed as managing director of the Jabalpur-based Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company.
