41 people are reported Killed after eight gunmen attack a bus belonging to the minority Ismaili Shia community in Pakistan’s Karachi city
Armed assailants opened fire on a passenger bus[Al Azhar] and gunned down at least 41 people. The incident took place at Safora Chowrangi when about eight gunmen came on 4 bikes They First surrounded the bus and started firing on it.
Over 20 people have been injured in the attack and were taken to the hospital. As per sources 60- passengers were in the bus.
Earlier On 16 December 2014, Army Public School 145 people including 132 children were killed in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar

Bus transport services today remained crippled across the city due to a strike by DTC employees demanding a compensation of Rs one crore to the kin of a deceased driver Ashok following which Delhi government clamped Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA) against the agitating staff.
“Under provision of ESMA, services of striking employees will be terminated if they don’t turn up for work. If any employee disrupts government work then they can be arrested also,
People across the city faced harrowing experience in absence of around 4,000 DTC buses on the first day of the strike by the DTC employees.
DTC driver Ashok Kumar (42) was beaten to death yesterday allegedly by a youth after his bus grazed the latter’s bike in Mundka area of west Delhi. The Delhi government had announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to Kumar’s family.
The strike affected commuting of students in hundreds of schools which had commercial pact with DTC.
Office-goers also had to face lot of difficulty. Auto rickshaws in many areas charged exorbitant fares and the commuters did not have any option but to heed to their demand.

Himachal Pradesh Minister Mukesh Agnihotri’s Personal Security Officer allegedly shot a youth at a state run hotel over a petty fight,
The incident took place when Kashish, who had come to Hotel Holiday Home with his friend Abhay to celebrate his birthday, asked the driver of the minister’s car, to give way for his vehicle.
“The minister’s PSO, Pankaj Sharma, and the driver manhandled me and Abhay and when we tried to flee, the PSO opend fire and I received bullet injuries on my foot,” Kashish, who was admitted to Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital, claimed.
A case of attempt to murder under Section 307 and other relevant sections of IPC was registered against Sharma and the driver and they were arrested.
Both the parties have registered cross FIRs in the incident and investigations were underway, police said.
Agnihotri said that as soon as he came to know about the incident, he asked his driver and PSO to surrender before police.

In a bid to call attention of the civil society and the government in power, Human Rights Organizations and Sikh bodies would take embark on a unique way of protest by cycling through the streets of Delhi on the 11th of April, 2015 Saturday.
The 31 kms cycle rally is to protest against Denial of Justice for 31 years to the humanity and Sikh community in particular. H.S.Phoolka, would lead the cycle rally along with others.
3000 people according to the official figure were killed in Delhi within 48 hours in November 1984. Hardly anyone is awarded punishment.
Phoolka has alleged that Successive Governments keep on shielding the culprits.The missing chargesheets against Sajjan Kumar which was prepared and signed on 8 April 1992 for murder of 4 Sikhs has not been filed in the Court yet though 23 years have passed.
Phoolka says that Clean chit was discreetly given by CBI under the control of Modi led BJP government to Jagdish Tytler in December 2014. The recent development has enraged all right thinking citizens, the victims and the Sikh community in particular.
Mr. Phoolka and his team has been using cycling as a medium to make aware different issues to the people in the past too. He headed a cycling team which travelled 100kms against the VVIP culture in Punjab recently.

The advisory came in the wake of some TV channels covering live anti-terrorist operations in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district on March 20.
The Ministry asked the TV channels not to focus on location+strength+movement+strategy and other related operations being followed by security forces engaging with the terrorists.
