दिल्ली पुलिस की अपराध शाखा ने मंगलवार को जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र शरजील इमाम को बिहार के जहानाबाद से गिरफ्तार कर लिया जिस पर देशद्रोह के मामले दर्ज किये गये हैं।
आई आई टी से स्नातक और अब जेएनयू के इतिहास अध्ययन केंद्र में अध्ययनरत पीएचडी छात्र शरजील पर नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के खिलाफ प्रदर्शनों के दौरान कथित भड़काऊ भाषण देने के मामले में कई राज्यों में देशद्रोह के मामले दर्ज किये गये हैं।
अपराध शाखा के पुलिस उपायुक्त राजेश देव के अनुसार शरजील इमाम को जहानाबाद से गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।’’
पुलिस ने बिहार निवासी इमाम का पता लगाने के लिए पांच दलों को तैनात किया था। उसे पकड़ने के लिए मुंबई, पटना और दिल्ली में छापे मारे गये।शरजील के साथ ही उसकी माँ और दो भाइयों को भी हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ जारी है

केन्द्रीय प्रशासनिक अधिकरण के अध्यक्ष और सिक्किम उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश प्रमोद कोहली के नेतृत्व में एक शिष्टमंडल ने शुक्रवार को राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद से मुलाकात की और आरोप लगाया कि कुछ राजनीतिक तत्व संशोधित नागरिकता कानून के खिलाफ हिंसक प्रदर्शनकारियों को प्रश्रय दे रहे हैं और इस अशांति का ‘बाहरी आयाम’ भी है।१५४ बुद्धिजीवियों ने इन्हें समर्थन दिया है
उन्होंने हालांकि संशोधित नागरिकता कानून, राष्ट्रीय जनसंख्या पंजी और राष्ट्रीय नागरिक पंजी के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन भड़काने को लेकर किसी दल या व्यक्ति का नाम नहीं दिया।
प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने कहा कि ‘द्वेषपूर्ण’ माहौल पैदा करने के लिए कुछ संगठनों की समाज में विभाजन पैदा करने की हरकत से वह चिंतिंत है। उसने कहा कि यदि आंदोलन शांतिपूर्ण रहता है और लोगों को असुविधा नहीं होती है, तो उसे इस आंदोलन से कोई एतराज नहीं है।
प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने राष्ट्रपति को एक ज्ञापन सौंपा जिसमें उच्च न्यायालयों के 11 पूर्व न्यायाधीश, आईएएस, आईपीएस, आईएफएस और पूर्व राजनयिक समेत 72 पूर्व नौकरशाहों , 56 शीर्ष पूर्व रक्षा अधिकारियों, बुद्धिजीवियों, अकादमिक विद्वानों और चिकित्सा पेशेवरों के हस्ताक्षर हैं।
ज्ञापन में कहा गया है कि प्रबुद्ध नागरिक चाहते हैं कि केंद्र पूरी गंभीरता से इस मामले पर गौर करे और देश के लोकतांत्रिक संस्थानों की रक्षा करे एवं ऐसी ताकतों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करे।

लेकिन इस विषय मे यह कहना अनुचित नही होगा के तत्कालीन भारत सरकार द्वारा 1947 में भी ऐसी ही कुछ सम्पत्ति का एडजस्टमेंट किया गया था
लाला गोकुलचंद सभलोक पुत्र गुरदित्ता मल निवासी रावलपिंडी/पिंडिगहेब/दंदी के 8 एकड़ खेत की एवज में भारतीय पँजांब के मुबारकपुर में पोनेचार एकड़ जमीन(पानी वाली) एलॉट की गई गौरतलब है के यह भूमि शत्रुसम्पत्ति है
लेकिन दुर्भाग्य से लाला गोकुल चंद और पुत्र हरबनसलाल सभलोक और पौत्र संजय सभलोक स्वर्ग सिधार चुके है मगर उन्हें वह सम्पत्ति नही दी गई
मौजूदाप्रदेश और केंद्र सरकार में भी गुहार(PMOPG/के/2016/0125052) लगाने का कोई परिणाम नजर नही आयायहां तक के RTI के तहत #पँजांबसरकार

चूंकि दूध का जला फूंक फूंक कर पीता है सो लाला गोकुलचंद जैसों को एलोटटेड मगर नही दी गई सम्पत्ति को भी रिकॉर्ड में लिया जाना जरूरी है
और पटवारखानों में दफन बेशकीमती शत्रुसम्पत्ति भी नीलामी में शामिल हो ताकि उनके सही हकदारों को उनका हक मिल सके

Governor Arif Mohammed Khan has sought a report from the CPI(M) led Left Democratic Front government for moving the Supreme Court against the Citizenship Amendment Act without informing him.
The office of Raj Bhavan sought the report from the state Chief Secretary of the state.
The Governor has been at loggerheads with the government ever since the state assembly passed a resolution last month, seeking to scrap the new law.
Khan had also publicly expressed his displeasure over the government not informing him moving moving the Supreme Court against the CAA.

(Mumbai) Thackeray Withdraws Cases Against Aarey Society Activists
Cases registered against green activists who tried to stop felling of trees in Mumbai’s Aarey Colony will be withdrawn, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced on Sunday night.
Cases were registered after clashes broke out between the police and green activists opposing axing of trees by the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL) in Aarey Colony early October for construction of a metro car shed for the Metro-3 line.
The CM reiterated that he was not stopping any metro project in Mumbai.
Police had booked at least 38 protesters under IPC sections 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharging duty), 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from duty) and 143 (unlawful assembly).
Of them, 29 protesters, including six women, were arrested when some of them allegedly tried to obstruct the police personnel at Aarey from discharging their duty and manhandling them.
A sessions court had on October 6 granted conditional bail to 29 protesters.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has avoided a direct comment on the Supreme Court’s verdict on the Ayodhya dispute and used poetry to react to the decision.

The Supreme Court, in a unanimous verdict earlier on Saturday, cleared the way for the construction of a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya and directed the Centre to allot a five-acre plot to the Sunni Waqf Board for building a mosque.
