In a special gesture, the President conferred the Award in a simple ceremony held at the residence of ailing Shri Vajpayee.

देश में पहली बार दिल्ली में इस तरह की सुविधा शुरू हो रही है। केजरीवाल ने सुविधा की शुरूआत के बाद कहा, ‘‘यह सुनिश्चित करना हमारा कर्तव्य है कि प्रत्येक गरीब को उसकी खाद्य सुरक्षा मिले। हमें पता है कि ज्यादातर लोगों तक राशनकार्ड नहीं पहुंचते क्योंकि राशन कार्ड वितरक इन्हें रख लेते हैं और इनका दुरूपयोग करते हैं। अब यह ई-राशन कार्ड सेवा राशन कार्ड वितरण की समस्या का समाधान देगी।

योगेन्द्र पर कन्वीनर पद के लिए लड़ाई का आरोप लगाया जा रहा है ,जबकि पार्टी के संविधान के अनुसार राष्ट्रीय परिषद को इसका अधिकार ही नही हैं|
वास्तव में अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने इन्हें निकालने की शर्त रखी है |इसके पीछे लोक सभा की हार के पश्चात दिल्ली में कांग्रेस के स्पोर्ट से सरकार बनाने की मंशा का विरोध करने पर योगेन्द्र और प्रशांत को पार्टी से निकालने की साजिश की जा रही है|
योगेन्द्र ने कहा कि मात्र एक महीने की सत्ता में बहुत कुछ टूटा है+जनता का विश्वास+वालंटियर्स की आशाएं+टूटी हैं |जो पार्टी आज तक जांच की मांग करती रही है उसी पार्टी में अब तानाशाही हावी है |
