प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने अपने दसवें रेडियो सन्देश में बिना सरकारी खर्चे के गुड गवर्नेंस के लिए सुझाव मांगे और अपनी उपलब्धियों का ब्योरा भी दिया सम्भवत यह दिल्ली में सत्ता रुड “आप” पार्टी और उत्तर प्रदेश में समाजवादी सरकारों द्वारा अरबों रुपये विज्ञापनों पर खर्च किये जाने पर एक प्रभावी आघात भी है |गौरतलब है कि दिल्ली के मुख्य मंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने जनता से सुझाव मांगने और अपनी उपलब्धियों को प्रकाशित करवाने के लिए ५२६ करोड़ का भारीभरकम बजट रखा है जबकि यूं पी में अखिलेश यादव सरकार ने इसी काम के लिए ९० करोड़ रुपयों का बजट रखा है |इन्हीं कामों के लिए रेडियो पर निशुल्क प्रसारण करकेआज इन्हें आईना दिखाने का प्रयास किया गया है | बताते चलें कि अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने अपने चुनावी अभियान के दौरान मोहल्ला सभाओं के माध्यम से सुझाव लेने की बात कही थी लेकिन सरकार बनते ही अब इसी काम के लिए विज्ञापनों की झड़ी लगा दी गई है |
प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने आज रेडियो पर अपनी दसवीं “मन की बात” में जनता से आह्वाहन किया कि १५ अगस्त को दिए जाने वाले भाषण में जनता कि क्या अपेक्षाएं हैं उनसे पीएम को अवगत कराया जाये इसके लिए उन्होंने मायगोव[MyGov]+आकाशवाणी+पी एम ओ को सीधे लिखने की बात भी कही |पीएम ने बताया कि माय गोव में २ करोड़ लोग जुड़ चुके हैं जबकि ५०००० लोगों ने महत्वपूर्ण +उपयोगी सुझाव भी दिए हैं |अपने आज के प्रसारण में श्री मोदी ने लाल बहादुर शास्त्री के अमर संदेश “जय जवान और जय किसान” को अमली जाम पहनाते हुए कारगिल के शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि दी और किसानो को दलहन +तिलहन +खरीब कि अच्छी उगाई के लिए प्रशंसा का पात्र भी बताया |सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में घायल होने वालों के लिए कैशलेस्स पालिसी और दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए प्रयास किये जाने की भी जानकारी दी अंत में पी एम ने दोहराते हुए कहा
“एक प्रकार से हमारे देश में अगस्त महीना, सितम्बर महीना, त्योहारों का ही अवसर रहता है। ढेर सारे त्यौहार रहते हैं। मेरी आप सबको बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनाएं। 15 अगस्त के लिए मुझे ज़रुर सुझाव भेजिये। आपके विचार मेरे बहुत काम आयेंगे”

The White House says Turkey has the right to defend itself against terrorist attacks by Kurdish rebels.
Turkey has started striking Islamic State militants, which helps the US-led coalition, but also began attacking Kurds.
The US has been relying on Kurds associated with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, to make progress against IS.
White House spokesman Alistair Baskey is strongly condemning recent terrorist attacks by the PKK, which the US has designated a terrorist group. He’s also pointing out that Turkey is a NATO ally of the US.
Baskey says the PKK should renounce terrorism and resume talks with Turkey’s government. But he also says that both sides should avoid violence and pursue de-escalation.

In controversial current remarks, VHP accused Muslim leaders of some political parties of “acting like mentors of terrorists” to threaten India and said they have no right to live in the country.
The outfit said churches and politicians with “jehadi mindset” were bringing a bad name to India in the name of religion.
“Sometime Owaisi, sometime Abu Azmi, sometime Azam… in the name of religion they act like mentors of terrorists, who are traitors and enemy of humanity, and give threats to India.
Such people have no right to live in India,” VHP joint general secretary Surendra Kumar Jain. made this statement at the inauguration of two-day national conference of Bajrang Dal, a Hindutva outfit linked with violent activities in the past.
In their zeal to oppose Hinduism, these leaders start opposing the Constitution and country, he alleged.
His comment comes against the backdrop of a row over AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s remarks which suggested that Mumbai blasts convict Yakub Memon was facing gallows due to his religion.
BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj had responded saying he should go to Pakistan if he cannot accept the decision on Memon.

उच्चतम न्यायालय के वकील और आम आदमी पार्टी के निष्काषित वरिष्ठ नेता प्रशांत भूषण ने दिल्ली के उप मुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया को कानूनी नोटिस भेजा हैं।
उन्होंने श्री सिसोदिया को यह नोटिस कथित तौर पर अनुबंध शिक्षकों को ‘‘पीछे के दरवाजे से’’ नियमित करने के लिए भेजा।
वर्ष की शुरुआत में “आप” से निष्कासित किये गये प्रशांत भूषण ने कहा कि मौजूदा अतिथि शिक्षकों को नियमित करने को लेकर 10 जून का विशेष परिपत्र उच्चतम न्यायालय की व्यवस्था का उल्लंघन है। ‘‘इस कानूनी नोटिस में यह मांग की गयी है कि शिक्षकों के पद पर नियुक्ति के लिए डीएसएसएसबी परीक्षा में शामिल होने वाले सभी पात्र उम्मीदवारों को उचित अवसर मिले। उच्चतम न्यायालय के फैसले के अनुसार इसके लिए अनुबंध..आकस्मिक शिक्षकों के रूप में उनके पहले के कार्य पर ध्यान नहीं दिया जाये।’’ भूषण ने कहा ‘‘अन्य लोगों को मौका दिये बगैर अतिथि.अनुबंध शिक्षकों को नियमित करना पिछले दरवाजे से प्रवेश की तरह है और उच्चतम न्यायालय ने इसे गैर कानूनी कहा है।’’ नोटिस में कहा गया है कि ‘‘अवसर की समानता’’ सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र में रोजगार की कसौटी है।

External Affairs Sushma Smt Sushma Swaraj today defended herself against allegations of helping former IPL chief Lalit Modi saying she never requested or recommended travel documents for him.
In a series of tweets, Swaraj, who is facing ire of the Opposition led by Congress which is demanding her resignation for helping Modi get travel documents, said it was “absolutely false” that she spoke to Keith Vaz, the British Labour MP, to allow British government to let the former IPL Commissioner travel.
She said.”I am saying this time and again that I never requested or recommended travel documents for Lalit Modi,”
In another tweet, the minister said, “As a Minister I am accountable to Parliament. That is the only forum to inform the nation.”
On her earlier tweets when the controversy broke out where she had maintained that her gesture was based on humanitarian ground, Swaraj said, “I left this to the UK Government to decide under their own laws and regulations. And that is what they did.”

The Prime Minister said development is the panacea for all problems related to poverty and unemployment. Emphasizing the importance of infrastructure, the Prime Minister said the gas pipeline and rail projects which were launched today would provide development and improve the quality of life of the people in the State. He said that if India has to progress, then the development of Eastern India is essential. He also mentioned several road projects that have been approved for Bihar, by the Union Government.
The Prime Minister said that IIT Patna, whose new campus was inaugurated today, should also cater to the State’s development needs. He expressed hope that the Incubation Centre for medical devices launched at the IIT, would help manufacture medical devices in India to make them easily accessible for all.

The fire department was informed about the blaze at 1:20 AM and seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
The Head Constable was trapped in the room and his body was later found under a table, police said.
