Pumpkart is a one stop solution for water pumps and appliances- in the form of a van. The van would move out in the rural and urban areas with the aim to educate and aware farmers, households and other consumers to select correct products. The van was flagged off by Mr. Sidhu and the Brand Ambassador of Pumpkart & former Captain of Indian Cricket Team Mr. Kapil Dev.
Minister Sidhu said Local Government Department, Punjab, also is streamlining its working to bring it in tune with the up to date innovations in technology field and has forged partnership with Punjab Remote Sensing Centre at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana. Citing an example in this regard, the minister said that recently the department conducted the air surveillance to ascertain the actual position regarding illegal constructions and found more than 4 lakh houses whereas earlier the number was estimated to be 90000. He also said that as per the ideology of ‘Captain Sarkaar Lokan De Dwaar’ the Local Government Department is implementing the concept of e-Governance to provide every kind of service to the people at their doorstep in a hassle free manner.
On the occasion, Mr. Kapil Dev said that the generation next is more techno-savvy and can deliver the goods; what they need is constant support and encouragement regarding such start-ups. On the occasion the creator of ‘PUMPKART’ and Chairman CII Punjab Council Mr. K.S. Bhatia, Regional Head FICCI Mr. G.B. Singh, Mr. Vivek Attray and other dignitaries were also present.

The Punjab Government released the grant of Rs 129 crore to be paid to the beneficiaries for the month of January 2018.
As per Social Security and Women & Child Welfare Minister, Mrs. Razia Sultana, 17.28 Lakh would be benefitted.
She said that soon the pension amount would be credited into the Bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa gave appointment letters to 127 newly recruited panchayat secretaries On this occasion Minister asked the department officials to allot the stations to the newly recruited panchayat secretaries as per their priority so that they could perform their duty with full dedication without any problem.
Mr. Bajwa gave a clear cut message that they should do development works without any discrimination. ‘Quality material must be ensured during the development works in the villages
Mr. Tript Bajwa also appealed to the newly recruited panchayat secretaries to adopt new techniques in their work and should keep up-to-date record of every work. He said such system should be implemented that no one faces any trouble in handing over record after their transfers. He said that this would improve the function of the department and bring more transparency.
On this occasion Mr. Anurag Verma Principal Secretary, Mr.Siban C. Director, Mr. Raminder Buttar Additional Director and Gurdarshan Singh Bahia OSD were also present.

An Assistant Lineman of PSPCL posted at Attari Feeder, Ferozepur district Trapped red handed .
As per Vigilance Bureau Punjab said Assistant Lineman Prem Singh was arrested by their team while he was demanding and accepting bribe of Rs. 5,000 from complainant Gulzar Singh of village Katora in Ferozepur district to restore his domestic power supply which was disconnected due to non-payment of bill.
State Vigilance Bureau, In another incidence , nabbed ASI Narinder Singh red handed while accepting bribe of Rs 10,000.
ASI Narinder Singh was posted at Sadar Police Station Phagwara, Kapurthala

प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने इस पर नाराजगी जताते हुए इनकी रोकथाम के लिए गृह मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह से परामर्श किया |
गृह मंत्रालय ने भी तत्काल कार्यवाही करते हुए राज्यों से कहा है कि वे ऐसी घटनाएं रोकने के लिए सभी आवश्यक कदम उठाएं। ऐसी घटनाओं में लिप्त लोगों के खिलाफ संबंधित नियमों के अंतर्गत मामले दर्ज कर कड़ी कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए।
देश के कुछ इलाकों से मूर्तियों की तोड़-फोड़ की घटनाओं की शिकायत मिली है।
मालूम हो के त्रिपुरा में वाम दलों का गढ़ ध्वस्त होने के पश्चात् वहां लेनिन की मूर्ति को ढा दिया गया ,जिसे लेकर वामपथियों के साथ ही समूचा विपक्ष भाजपा सरकार के विरुद्ध एकजुट हो गया है| लेनिन रूस के वामपथि विचारधारा के कट्टर नेता थे| भाजपा नेताओं का कहना है के अभी भी त्रिपुरा में वामपंथी केयरटेकर सरकार है इसके बावजूद घटना पर तत्काल नोटिस लेते हुए कार्यवाही के आदेश दे दिए गए हैं |गौरतलब हे के जिस क्रेन से लेलिन की मूर्ति को गिराया गया उसका ड्राईवर गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है चूँकि यह जमानती अपराध था सो उसे जमानत मिल चुकी है |

[नई दिल्ली]केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने विदेश से धनराशि प्राप्तकर्ता पीएचएफआई पर नकेल कसी |इनफ़ोसिस लिमिटेड के संस्थापक नारायण मूर्ति इसके चेयरमैन हैं और सदस्यों में डॉ .मोंटेक सिंह अहलूवालिया और अमर्त्यसेन भी हैं
विदेशी अंशदान विनियमन अधिनियम, 2010 के प्रावधानों के कथित उल्लंघन के बारे में जानकारी प्राप्त होने के बाद पीएचएफआई के पंजीकरण के नवीनीकरण को प्रारंभ से ही अस्थायी घोषित कर दिया गया।
केन्द्रीय गृह मंत्री श्री किरेन रिजिजू ने आज एक प्रश्न के उत्तर में लोकसभा में बताया के पीएचएफआई को प्रत्येक तिमाही के अंत में विदेश से प्राप्त होने वाले योगदान के संबंध में स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय को विस्तृत जानकारी देनी होगी। स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय द्वारा एक समिति का गठन किया गया है जो पीएचएफआई द्वारा त्रैमासिक आधार पर प्राप्त व खर्च किए गए विदेशी योगदान की समीक्षा करेगा।
