थाना फेज -3 क्षेत्र के सेक्टर 119 के पास मंगलवार दोपहर क्लो- काउंटी सोसाइटी के पास इंडस वैली स्कूल की बस में भयंकर आग लग गई।
मौके पर पहुंची दमकल विभाग की दो गाड़ियों ने आग पर काबू पाया। बस में सवार छात्र- छात्राओं को आपातकालीन द्वार से बाहर निकाला गया। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार बचाव के दौरान कुछ छात्रों को मामूली चोट आई है।
बीते दिनों स्कूल बसों की जांच सुनिश्चित करवाने के आदेश दिए गए थे लेकिन इस दुर्घटना ने व्यवस्थापकों के दावों की तमाम पोल खो कर रख दी है

पंजाब के फिरोजपुर से शिरोमणि अकाली दल के सांसद शेर सिंह घुबाया ने सोमवार को पार्टी की सदस्यता से इस्तीफा दे दिया था जबकि शिरोमणि अकाली दल ने दावा किया है कि शेर सिंह घुबाया को पार्टी से पहले ही निष्कासित किया जा चुका था।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार घुबाया ने मंगलवार की सुबह पार्टी अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी से मुलाकात कर पार्टी की सदस्यता ग्रहण की।
घुबाया प्रदेश की जलालाबाद विधानसभा सीट से तीन बार विधायक रह चुके हैं।
2009 में उन्होंने शिअद प्रमुख सुखबीर बादल के लिए जलालाबाद सीट खाली की थी और बाद में फिरोजपुर से संसदीय चुनाव लड़ा था।
घुबाया लगातार 10 साल से सांसद हैं।

Police Tuesday detained a doctor from Aurangabad district of Maharashtra for allegedly providing financial assistance to the ISIS suspects who were arrested in January this year by the ATS.
The doctor was taken into custody in the wee hours from Khuldabad
Ahead of Republic Day, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) had arrested nine people from Thane and Aurangabad and detained a juvenile for their alleged links with terror outfit ISIS.
They were booked under Indian Penal Code’s Section 120 (B) (criminal conspiracy) and relevant provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Bombay Police Act.
The ATS had said that the accused were plotting mass attacks.

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday warned that Pakistan would not hesitate to use its nuclear arsenal if it felt it was losing out against India in a conventional war.
Pointing out that both India and Pakistan were nuclear powers, Captain Amarinder said it was not in either country’s interest to use the weapons of destruction but Islamabad could indulge in such a misadventure if faced with defeat in other battles.
He, however, refused to comment on the number of terrorists killed in the strikes, saying, “whether it was one killed or 100, the message had gone out loud and clear – that India will not let the killing of its innocent soldiers and citizens go unpunished.”
Pointed out that Pakistan was in a huge economic mess and had been going around with a begging bowl and surviving on doles from other Islamic nations, Captain Amarinder said they could ill-afford a full-fledged war with India. And though both were nuke powered countries, Pakistan could act out of desperation to use its nuclear weapons if they found themselves cornered, he warned.
