B.Ed Entrance Exams Are Seheduled on 9th August During the Biggest Pandemic
Authorities Ensuring that The sanctity of the B Ed entrance examination,would be maintained despite the COVID-19 pandemic
According to Mathura DM Sarvagya Ram Mishra, strict vigil and transparency would be maintained at all examination centres.
There will be thermal screening of every candidate, the district magistrate said, adding that four teams would be deputed at every examination centre to ensure thermal screening and hand sanitization.
Two observers for every 500 candidates would be deputed at each of the four examination centres in the district
Candidates have been asked to wear face masks and keep hand sanitizer with them, officials said.
On the basis of the candidate’s admit card, they would be allowed to use auto-rickshaw, cabs or other means of transport for reaching examination centres

Shiromani Akali Dal (Taksali) on Friday demanded a CBI probe into the hooch tragedy in Punjab which has so far claimed 121 lives.
In a memorandum submitted to Punjab Governor V P Singh Badnore, SAD-Taksali president and former MP Ranjit Singh Brahmpura said stringent action should be taken against the culprits behind the incident.

The Meghalaya government on Friday decided to issue licenses to wine shops for home delivery of liquor.
As per Minister James K Sangma, state cabinet has approved a proposal regarding this and decided to introduce a new regulation under the Meghalaya Excise Rules on license for home delivery of liquor.
Not more than 3 litres of foreign liquors or wine, and 4 litres of beer can be delivered per order

Senior BJP leader from Uttar Pradesh Manoj Sinha on Thursday appointed as the new Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, the first political leader to take charge as the LG of the union territory.
The 61-year-old Sinha comes in place of former IAS officer Girish Chandra Murmu, who tendered his resignation on Wednesday night.
Sinha is a three-time Lok Sabha MP who held charge of the Communication Ministry as a Minister of State in 2016 when the telecom industry was engaged in sale of spectrum.
Sinha, a B.Tech in civil engineering, has been credited with overcoming the menace of call drop.
Earlier the Centre had appointed Satya Pal Malik, a politician, as governor of the erstwhile state before it was bifurcated into two union territories — Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir — on August 5 last year.
Sinha, who was elected to Lok Sabha in 1999 and 2014, was front runner for the post of Uttar Pradesh chief minister after the party walked away with 265 seats in the 403-member assembly

Punjab on Wednesday reported a record 29 deaths due to COVID-19 pushing the toll to 491, while 894 people tested for the infection taking the case tally to 19,856.
Nine fatalities were reported from Ludhiana,
five from Patiala,
four from Jalandhar,
three from Gurdaspur,
two from Sangrur and
one each from Amritsar, Faridkot, Ferozepur, Mansa, Kapurthala and Rupnagar.
Districts which reported new cases included
Ludhiana (303),
Patiala (185),
Jalandhar (101),
Amritsar (53),
Barnala (33),
Bathinda (29) and
Mohali (27).
A total of 452 coronavirus patients were discharged after recovering from the infection. So far 12,943 people have been cured of the infection.
There are 6,422 active COVID-19 cases in the state, as of now
Twenty-two patients are critical and are on ventilator support while 148 are on oxygen support
A total of 6,22,127 samples have been taken for testing so far in the state, it said.

मुख्यमंत्री श्री अशोक गहलोत ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को पत्र लिखकर टिड्डी प्रकोप को राष्ट्रीय आपदा घोषित करने की मांग की है। उन्होंने कहा है कि विश्व खाद्य एवं कृषि संगठन के पूर्वानुमान के अनुसार राजस्थान सहित अन्य राज्यों में खरीफ-2020 एवं रबी 2020-21 की फसलों में होने वाले संभावित नुकसान, कोरोना महामारी के कारण राज्यों की कमजोर आर्थिक स्थिति तथा किसानों के हित में यह निर्णय किया जाना उचित होगा। इससे टिड्डी प्रकोप से निपटने के लिए राज्यों की क्षमता और सुदृढ़ होगी।
श्री गहलोत ने पत्र में कहा है कि केंद्र सरकार अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर समन्वय कर टिड्डी से प्रभावित सभी देशों के साथ बातचीत करे, ताकि टिड्डी के प्रभावी नियंत्रण के लिए उचित कदम उठाए जा सकें। उन्होंने कहा है कि अफ्रीका एवं खाड़ी देशों में व्यापक पैमाने पर टिड्डी का प्रजनन हुआ है। इसके चलते सीमापार से लगातार टिड्डी दलों का राजस्थान सहित अन्य राज्यों में प्रवेश हो रहा है।
इस वर्ष राज्य में 11 अप्रेल से टिड्डियों का प्रवेश हुआ और 33 में से 32 जिले इसके प्रकोप से प्रभावित हुए हैं। इस वर्ष राजस्थान के अलावा गुजरात, मध्यप्रदेश, पंजाब, हरियाणा, उत्तरप्रदेश एवं महाराष्ट्र सहित अन्य राज्यों में भी टिड्डियों का प्रकोप हुआ है। अब यह समस्या बहुराज्यीय समस्या बन चुकी है।
श्री गहलोत के अनुसार 2019-20 में राजस्थान में 12 जिलों का करीब 6 लाख 70 हजार हैक्टेयर क्षेत्र टिड्डी से प्रभावित रहा। भारत सरकार के टिड्डी चेतावनी संगठन एवं राज्य सरकार के संयुक्त प्रयासों से टिड्डी दलों को काफी प्रभावी तरीके से नियंत्रित किया गया, लेकिन फिर भी रबी की फसलों में
किसानों को करीब एक हजार करोड़ रूपए का नुकसान हुआ।

मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत की पहल पर गुर्जरों सहित अति पिछड़ा वर्ग के अभ्यर्थियों को राजस्थान न्यायिक सेवा में एक प्रतिशत के स्थान पर 5 प्रतिशत आरक्षण देने के लिए राजस्थान न्यायिक सेवा नियम, 2010 में संशोधन को राज्य कैबिनेट के माध्यम से मंजूरी मिल गई है।
अति पिछड़ा वर्ग के अभ्यर्थियों को इस संशोधन के जरिए राजस्थान न्यायिक सेवा में एक प्रतिशत के स्थान पर 5 प्रतिशत आरक्षण दिया जाना प्रस्तावित है। गौरतलब है कि अति पिछड़ा वर्ग के अभ्यर्थी लम्बे समय से न्यायिक सेवा नियमों में संशोधन की मांग कर रहे थे, ताकि उन्हें राज्य न्यायिक सेवा में एक प्रतिशत के स्थान पर 5 प्रतिशत आरक्षण मिल सके।
श्री गहलोत की इस पहल से गुर्जर, रायका-रैबारी, गाडिया-लुहार, बंजारा, गडरिया आदि अति पिछड़ा वर्ग के अभ्यर्थियों को राजस्थान न्यायिक सेवा में नियुक्ति के अधिक अवसर मिलना संभव होगा।
