one each in Meerut, Sambhal and Firozabad.
But officials reported a death in Kanpur as well.
In the state-wide protests, there were reports of firing on police parties at various places,
Police retaliated with teargas shells followed by rubber bullets,
Singh said to agency that over 50 policemen seriously injured during the protests.

चंडीगढ़ में हरियाणा के दो कॉलेज छात्रों की सेक्टर 15 में स्थित उनके किराए के मकान पर अज्ञात हमलावरों ने गोली मार कर हत्या कर दी।
मृतकों की पहचान अजय और विनीत के रूप में हुई है। दोनों की उम्र करीब 20 साल थी। अजय एक निजी विश्वविद्यालय का छात्र था जबकि विनीत एक सरकारी कॉलेज में पढ़ता था।
मोहित इस घटना में सुरक्षित बचकर निकल गया, पुलिस उससे पूछताछ कर रही है।
पुलिस को यह मामला पुरानी दुश्मनी का होने का संदेह है
घटनास्थल पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय के नजदीक है और यहां बड़ी संख्या में छात्र किराए पर मकान या कमरा ले कर रहते हैँ।

The Nanavati Commission report on the 2002 Gujarat riots was tabled in the state Legislative Assembly five years after it was submitted to the then state government.
Retired Justices G T Nanavati and Akshay Mehta had in 2014 submitted their final report on the 2002 riots – in which over 1,000 people, mainly of the minority community, were killed – to the then state chief minister Anandiben Patel.
The commission was appointed in 2002 by the then state chief minister Narendra Modi to probe the riots, that took place after the burning of two coaches of the Sabarmati Express train near Godhra railway station, in which 59 ‘karsevaks’ were killed.
Minister of State for Home Pradeepsinh Jadeja tabled the report in the House,

Four persons arrested in connection with rape-and-murder of a woman veterinarian near here last month were killed in an encounter with police Friday morning, police said.
“The four accused were killed in an encounter with police,” Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar said.
Two policemen were also injured in the incident, a senior police official said.

यह राष्ट्रीय उद्यान में वन रानी छोटी लाइन रेलमार्ग का एक हिस्सा है।
घटना के बाद चीतल को पशु अस्पताल ले जाया गया जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया।
वन्यजीव कानून के तहत एसयूवी के चालक के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर वाहन को जब्त कर लिया गया है।
पार्क के भीतर संकरे मार्ग से गुजरने की गति सीमा 20 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा है लेकिन चालक अक्सर इसका उल्लंघन करते है और वन्य जीवों के जीवन खतरे में डालते हैं।

A contract employee Ramakrishnan, hailing from Vandoor in the district, had been working as a part-time sweeper for the past 30 years.
Union leaders said the contract employees had not been getting salary for the past 10 months and they were on an agitation since the past 130 days, demanding payment of salary dues.
Since June 24, the employees under the BSNL Casual Contract Labour Union (CCLU), affiliated to the CITU, has been protesting over non-payment of pending wages.
BSNL CCLU working president K Mohanan had alleged the current crisis in the BSNL was due to the Centre’s move to promote Reliance Jio by denying BSNL permission for 4G services.
The ailing BSNL had also notified a voluntary retirement scheme days after the government approved its merger with MTNL.

पंजाब के फगवाड़ा के हर कृष्ण नगर क्षेत्र में रामदीन के किराए के कमरे में उसका शव खून से लथपथ हालत में मिला था। शव के पास ही एक लोहे की पाइप भी मिली है।
स्थानीय पुलिस के अनुसार उत्तर प्रदेश के सिद्धार्थ नगर जिले के रहनेवाले रामदीन के सिर पर लगातार लोहे के पाइप से वार किया गया था।
रामदीन के साथ कमरे में रहनेवाला व्यक्ति किरण कुमार फरार बताया जा रहा है।

#एनआरएससी के 56 वर्षीय वैज्ञानिक #सुरेश कुमार अपने आवास पर रहस्यमय परिस्थितियों में मृत पाए गए।
एनआरएससी #इसरो का एक विभाग है और कुमार इस केंद्र के फोटो विभाग में कार्यरत थे।
पुलिस के अनुसार कुमार की पत्नी चेन्नई में रहती हैं और उन्होंने कई बार अपने पति को फोन किया था। कुमार का कोई उत्तर न मिलने पर उनकी पत्नी ने उनके मित्रों को इसकी सूचना दी।
कुमार के मित्र उनके फ्लैट पर पहुंचे तो दरवाजा बाहर से बंद पाया जिसके बाद उन्होंने दरवाजा तोड़ दिया। भीतर जाने पर कुमार मृत मिले और उनके सिर पर चोट के निशान थे। पुलिस के अनुसार प्रथम दृष्टया यह मामला हत्या का लगता है। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।

परिवार वालों ने शुक्रवार रात गुमशुदगी रपट दर्ज करवाई थी।
शर्मा एक सांध्यकालीन समाचार पत्र के सीईओ थे।
पुलिस के अनुसार कोई सुसाइड नोट नहीं मिला है और मामले की जांच की जा रही है।
