[Jammu] 42K Appear for Written Test for 4K Constable Post in J&K
Over 42,000 candidates today appeared in written tests at 75 examination centres across the J&K for the position of 4,000 constables in The Border State
The recruitment of 4,000 constables which was initiated in 2015 has passed through various stages, including outdoor tests, after which 42,000 candidates were shortlisted.
Director General of Police (DGP), K Rajendra Kumar inspected various examination centres in the state and took stock of the arrangements put in place for transparent recruitment.
