With the arrest of three accused Ajit Singh (24yrs) (2) Aashu Srivastav (30 Yrs) (3) Mukesh Pal (26 Yrs) the sleuths of PS Punjabi Bagh have worked out sensational robbery case of Rs. 80 Lakh.

During the course of investigation secret information was given by theinformer that one Ajit Singh s/o Sh. Rakesh Kumar r/oP-1/18, Budh Vihar, Phase-I, Delhi who is the employee of ICICI Bank leaked theinformation to one Aashu that he will receive the payment of Rs. 80 lakhtomorrow. He provided all the details of the depositorto Aashu.
Ajit was issued notice to joint he investigation.
The call detail records of Ajit and Aashu were analysed and found that they were in contactwith each other on the day of incident. On sustained interrogation Ajit Singh broke down and disclosed that hereleased the information to his friend Aashu and he further gave this information to his associates namely Mukesh, Monty, Puneet Anand & SushilSharma who had hatched the plan of robbery.
During investigation accused Ajit Singh was arrested and on the instance of accused Ajit Singh other two accused namely Aashu Srivastav and Mukesh Palwere arrested.
As per Pushpendra Kumar [IPS]Deputy Commissioner of Polic they distributed the booty among themselves. The other co-accused are still absconding.
Raids are being conducted to nab their absconding associates. The staff who have done the above good work are being suitably rewarded.
